The main (I had chicken tikka masala) didn't have much meat, either. The sauce was pretty weak and overly sweet - almost sugary. It just wastn't very flavorful. The vegetable rice I had was overly greasy. The naan was fine. The "two beers" were two half pints. The restaurant itself if fairly small and quite loud. The wait staff was OK. I wouldn't go back to eat here and I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends, and that's enough to earn this place one star.

Odd enough the tamarind sauce that I have tried here from the grocers ( Morrison's ) was a bit vinegary. Perhaps that's how it is made here. I also had tried the Chicken Tikka Masala. That was also different here in the England. It seems it is made with a sweet sauce. I've tried several Indian restaurants and the Tikka Masala sauce all seem to be based on a sweet sauce. In America it's not sweet. It has a tomato, green pepper, basil and cream flavor. The Garlic Naan was alight. I would had preferred it to be more warm and crispier. The service was good. So was the ambiance. Because the food here is differently prepared from what I am used to, I think a fair rating would be 3 out of 5 based on service, ambiance and portions. The interior have remained the same, but the quality of food improved in my opinion, though for years don't play well in this case. The only disappointing but was the onion banjee, which have been fried in a dirty oil and left soaked. Price wise it is OK, and the service too. Aim to come back again, wife permitting :)
