It was a Friday night and the restaurant was about half full. As we entered, the first thing I noticed was the pleasant decor. It wasn't at all, in your face flashy, it was very reserved. Probably trying to be all things to all people, which can be a hard balancing act. Very friendly staff. Very professional. The menu seemed very consistent with most of the other indian restaurants that I go to. I always keep an eye out for something unusual or unique, but not this time. The food itself was amazing. To me it tasted very fresh. It had slightly different spices than I'm used to. I also noticed that the menu was very slightly cheaper than what I'm used to paying which was a bonus really. I'll definitely return one day and will be sure to recommend to friends.

The restaurant has gotta be like 4x the size of Carnaby. Not just that, the ambience is way better here. The tables are way more spaced out, so you don't feel super cramped. The open space helps negate the strong Indian spices that emanate from the kitchen. And it just feels way more comfortable. Anyways, our reservation was right at the tail end of the breakfast menu hours and right before the regular menu began, so we were able to get a Sausage & Egg Naan Roll to start. Also had the Lamb Biryani, Goan Monkfish Curry, Mutton Pepper Fry, and Murgh Malai. I mean basically everything at Dishoom is great, and this was no exception. Service was fantastic. It's fairly new to Enfield, and before this, our local curry was the Poppadum. Well, we came here, and it is now the top of our list! One thing I like about it is beef curry! It's not something you can get very often in curry houses, but they do an excellent job with it! Their lamb shank is also very tasty. I usually order onion bhajis because they are crisp and delicious, but most of the starters here are great! They will often suggest things that they think you might like or that aren't on the menu, like when I took my parents here for their first ever Indian experience. (They loved it.) If you're looking for curry in Enfield, it really is the place to go!

The menu had a good selection of dishes mainly South Goan. The food was excellently presented, and it tasted as good as it looked, in fact I would go as far to say this was the best Indian cuisine I have tasted since visiting India earlier this year.
