Good food. We're regulars so they always bring some extra. Fast service. Good value for money.

This is a great place, many say the best place, for Indian in Cambridge. Nothing is too greasy,…read moreenormous variety in the menu including a fantastic cabbage salad, and a good mango laslee all make for a party in your mouth. One issue I have, which has repeated itself every time I go, is the difficulty in getting a glass of water. I'm glad B.L. also ran into this problem so I'm not the only one. Last time I went, I personally counted 6 requests for water to at least 3 different servers before it came. Is there a conspiracy here? when I order beer, it comes quick no problem. Are they trying to steer me towards buying a drink? I don't know, but it's happened often enough for me to wonder. Won't stop me from coming back though, because it is very good, but I might just bring a bottle of water with me next time.

The restaurant itself was alright, in a converted house (feels as if I am in Yorkshire!!!). The staff there are pleasant but very busy - the place seems to be very popular with so many people coming in and the staff, getting tired of being polite, snapped "No tables!" and the phone won't stop ringing!!! :o My mate and I ordered tikka masala (he with tofu, me with chicken) - it was really nice - very good. The naan breads are superb! :-) for your poppadom, they set out a good assortment of sauces and chutneys in tiny bowls. Be warned, when you ask for poppadom, you would be given ONE poppadom but my mate said they did ask him how many he ll want - I dont know if you are charged for EACH poddadom? Excellent stuff - didn't feel greasy or uneasy afterwards :-) which is a good sign! Will come back!
