After reading some of the reviews my partner and I thought we would try the Indian Ocean and all I can say is we must have been eating in a different restaurant to those that have left comments on here as this place is awful! We went for the Sunday buffet, we should have stayed at home. They had chicken tikka for starters, it looked and tasted like nothing we had ever seen. The chicken was pale yellow and was in a watery sauce, nothing like the tradtional bright red pieces cooked in the tandoor. For mains they served Chicken tikka masala and Lamb bhuna. For the chicken dish they used the same chicken as they had used for the starters and was in a runny far too sweet sauce and the lamb dish was very bland with no hint of any spice, it was more like a lamb casserole, sorry a mutton casserole as clearly they use cheap cuts of meat! The chef should be embarassed that he is serving up this food and have the cheek to call it 'the best indian taste experience' as advertised on their website. The drinks were far too expensive, 2 and a half pints cost more than 2 adult buffets! Overall this place should be advoided as I really cant think of a positive thing to say about it. read more
