My two closest girl friends have been going here to get their lashes done and it's always full and long, and I've always thought it looked really good on both of them. I never cared too much for getting my lashes done but I decided to try this place since all of my friends started to switch over to this place and seems like they are very consistent on doing their lashes. I booked my appointment by phone since this place only takes appointments. Lucky for me, I was able to book an appointment for the Saturday of the week I called. Nice man answered the phone and wrote me down for a Saturday appointment. The store is located in a small plaza, barely would notice it. It's on a non busy street that doesn't seem like it gets much traffic ever. Once I walked through the doors, the man that booked my appointment (I'm assuming it's him and that he's the owner?). He knew it was me and was like "katelin?" And I said yeah. Then he walked me through the hallway and had me set up with one of the workers. She was nice and had me lay down. Her station was in the hallway (not in a room). I asked her for the different styles she had and she showed me the picture on the wall. They have 4 styles: natural, cute, gorgeous, and sexy. By looking at the different styles, I was deciding between sexy (shorter inside and gets longer on the outside - like cat eye) and gorgeous (long throughout). She says gorgeous opens up your eyes more and sexy would cause more of a small eye effect. I went with gorgeous because I wanted my eyes to open up more and pop. She asked me for what length I wanted and I said long? Not sure .. she recommended medium length which was a 13. And I did asked if it was going to be voluminous and she said yes. Then she started. It was very relaxing, I think ktfo lol I think it took about 1.5 hours which is pretty fast for a full set. She made sure they looked good and that was it. For your first time, it was $90 but if you pay with cash, it is $80 so I paid $80 with cash. I asked how much refills would cost and they said $50. I honestly really like my lashes, they are full, long, and actually make my eyes bigger. They also look more natural and not fake. The only thing is I will probably go longer. The longest is 15 so I will ask for that length next time. As for the style, I do like the gorgeous, but I'll try the cute some time (shorter in the inside and outside and longer in the middle.. sounds weird I know). My first time coming here was last Wednesday and I had asked for a super natural look. I loved the look so much but unfortunately, the lashes were falling out quicker than I thought. Possibly because there wasn't much extensions since I really wanted a natural look. I had a bad experience at the one in cypress Nicky pricked me I don't know how many times and I had to go back shortly after cause they started falling off so by the advice a I went to the one in stanton and had mini this time she was a little better but also pricked my eye a couple time very painful. This place is the best eyelash extension place I've been to. SERVICE: I've never had to request a certain technician, because each of the ladies that work here do such a wonderful job. I've never had a bad experience with any of them, and each time, my lashes turn out beautiful. They know what looks good, depending on your eye shape. I usually just always tell them "not too dramatic, but not too natural - just in the middle." Or I show them a pair of false lashes that suit me. The technicians are also super friendly and kind. They always try to make sure that you are feeling relaxed and offer things like warm water to ensure that you're feeling comfortable. They have these really soft blankets for you as well, in case you get cold. AMBIENCE: The inside of the place is nicely decorated and feels super homey. The whole process took about 1 - 1/2 hours, which isn't bad at all. It's so comfy that you don't really mind the time to be honest. PRICING: Pricing is also very reasonable. It's not too expensive and is actually cheaper than a lot of other lash extension places. Mine were synthetic. It cost me $90, but since I paid in cash, I only had to pay $80. Wow this place gets so busy. Please call ahead and get yourself an appointment. I was lucky to get in with Ivy on the same day for new lash extensions. When I got there for my appointment, I had to wait for an additional 30 minutes because the client before me took longer than expected. I really appreciate the owner's husband apologizing about the wait. Everyone seems very kind here. Ivy did my lashes and she was did exactly what I wanted. She listened to my ideal style and she made it happen. We had great conversation during the session and at some point, I think I dozed off. This is how soothing it is. No pain. No problem. Nikki does an amazing job! I was refer to this location by a patient of mine. I had been curious about getting lash extensions but too afraid of the damage that it would cause to my own. Now I'm the type of person that likes to at least experience something in life once, so I said what the heck why not, these extensions I saw on my patient was the first time for me that I've ever seen any extensions on anyone that looked so natural, so I gave Nikki a call, made an appointment. My appointment did last 3 hours they do have a relaxing small place and the music in the background is nice I just about dozed off after the 3 hours were over my eyelashes were beautiful just too bad that after my experience I decided they weren't for me. This is my hands down, go-to lash place! The best thing about Mesmerizing Lashes is that they're AFFORDABLE! This place has the best prices compared to other lash salons that I've found. Another thing that I love is that they actually listen to you and how you want your lashes, even if they don't think it's the best for your lashes due to lash strength or length, they'll still do it for you. I usually go to Ivy and she was really sweet and always listened to how I wanted my lashes and when you aren't satisfied with the results, feel free to speak up and tell them because they'll gladly fix it for you until you're happy! My third fill I booked Lien because I wanted something more dramatic than what Ivy usually gives me, and I'm beyond satisfied with Lien's work. She takes her time and really knows what she's doing and is honest with you about the health of your lashes and what she thinks it can or cannot sustain and gives her honest estimate on the longevity of the extensions. PS Sometimes afterwards my eyes still burn from the glue so they'll give you a mini hand fan to use for a little bit but if they still burn by the time you get to your car, it helps to blast the AC lol. I've been here for 2 new sets and multiple refills. I do not remember the name of the first lady I went to, but I had my second set done by Ann. I did the "natural" set but had the length mixed at 12-13. She did a wonderful job and I really loved the outcome, more so than the first time I've had it done. So I go in there and I asked them to take my lashes off because the lashes that they put on are extremely cheap and I decided to have them removed for now . This place is the best! I came here for the first time for eyelash extensions. I have small asian girl eyes and my eyelashes were barely there. Every time I wore mascara it would smear all over my lower eye lid and give me a panda eye. I'm a super low maintenance girl and could go some days sans any makeup if I had a late night the day before so I really was apprehensive about this whole lash thing. After seeing a bunch of friends and family all get pretty lash extensions though, I finally gave in and decided to shell out the $$ for some extensions. Kitty was the one who did my lashes and she did a great job! I have really sensitive skin and did not have any problems with the glue. I am also a chronic eye rubber but even the few times I accidentally rubbed my eyes, I didn't have any issues with eye lashes falling out. I brush them once a day (maybe) and I've swam with them already with no problems at all. First time price $90, fills $50 but they say you must come back 3 weeks later. I can barely feel them on my eyes and it really gives my eyes an added "pop"! Even with just a little bit of makeup, I can get away with looking put together. It saves me so much time in the morning! I came here after reading many reviews and this place got my business just by reviews of others. I came in and saw lien. She laid me down and went to work. Didnt ask what i want or suggested what would look good for me. I let her do what she needed to do, hoping it would be a better experience than my first, with another place. After coming home, i inspected the lashes. She put way too much on me. I opted for the mink lashes, which are supposed to be lighter. How did i know she put too much? My eyes looked droopy. Like i needed sleep or I was high. These lashes are to make my eyes look brighter and larger, but its the complete opposite. I looked tired, sleepy, high, etc. I assume lien was the best there, I say not. It was just another dollar for her. Or should i say, another hundred dollars for her since i tipped her a whopping 10 dollars, which I should've saved and bought myself a pair or 2 of ardell lashes. My technician did a good job and she tried her best but there were other factors that made me give a 2 star review. 1. The technicians breath smelled really bad which was very uncomfortable as she was breathing on me for over an hour. 2. My appointment was at 5:30 pm and they didn't talk to me until 5:50. That's 20 minutes after my appointment. I'm responsible and I'm always on time for everything so I showed up 5 minutes prior at 5:25 and needless to say it's very bothersome to wait on people. 3. The technician did not do a pat test for the glue which is a must to see if you're allergic to their products. I had to request it. This shouldn't be done if you're a real professional. 4. There was too much noise and too much clutter going on that it was not a relaxing experience. Everyone kept talking and laughing in different languages. It's not the language the problem it's the fact that you're working you shouldn't be socializing. 5. Their business cards encourage people to give 5 stars on yelp just for $5.00 off, so I don't trust any other 5 star reviews on here, it's all fake and for the coupon. read more
