Good ambience, comfortable seating, good portions and great customer service from beginning to end.

Chile Verde Omelette

Great neighborhood breakfast spot if you are looking for large portions and quick service. We came on a Sunday around 11am and were seated immediately. Kind of a hectic atmosphere during brunch time, but our servers were polite and they kept the coffee refills coming. The crunchy French toast was perfection. We loved the texture of the bread, and the fruit with whipped cream was a nice addition. The chili verde omelet was HUGE and had a nice kick to it. It was a little on the oily side for me, but was pretty flavorful and solid overall. The hash browns and bacon were nothing spectacular, but all together made for a filling and satisfying meal. If you're looking for a casual brunch spot with quick service and large portions, this is a great option. With typical diner style food, it's a solid place to go if you need a heavy breakfast, especially after a night out.

Video of the location.

Environment was nice....good music, full bar, prompt service, Attended with Mr. S. Wang who is well known in these parts. Yelp now has video so I will try and post the one I took but it most likely sucks since I ate my food fast and the good service immediately bussed the plate. Mr. Wang was still mowing so I have documented his food in the video. The food is just average. I am sorry to say that but there was no flair like the breakfast at Market Tavern or the Four Seasons. Suggestions: * Add a little vanilla flavor to the p-cakes * Scrambled need a bump somehow as they tasted like what I make and what I makes usually sucks. * Bacon was good * Veg omlette was good according to S. Wang so no improvement needed. * Hash brown was stale tasting due to bad oil taste. * Should be noted the coffee beats Peet's and Starbucks so keep it up. Thank you-

Food was AMAZING and cornbread was so good. Host was super nice and amazing service!!

Manmosa

I've been wanting to come back for the Manmosa (It's a mimosa served in a bigger glass) and the breadless benedict. They did not disappoint! The food was good and the service was great!

The environment is casual, with indoor and outdoor seating. I love to people watch here! Located next to the Granada and the perfect spot to grab a few drinks before a show. Happy hour is Monday - Friday from 4-6pm and offers a small menu of $9 cocktails. Sometimes it gets pretty crowded depending on what events are happening downtown. My only gripe is that I wish they had two bartenders during the busier nights. They could be short staffed though. Nonetheless, it's still a great spot for good quality cocktails.

Located right next to the Granada Theater on the main drag, it looked to have undergone recent renovations and had a very chill but stylish ambiance. There was plenty of seating on a Wednesday night, and our bartender was a friendly young woman. The hubby got the spiced rum old fashioned, which had an ice cube with a lion's face etched onto it--a nice touch. I got one of their tiny Negronis, which came in a cute tiny mug and cost $5 (it sounded fun). Both tasted great and we had a nice time sipping our drinks and taking in the decor. Alas we had to be on our way so couldn't linger long, but we'd definitely love to stop by again the next time we're in town.

In a stretch of Lower State packed with breweries, wine bars, and roaming weekend energy-drink humans in vintage bowling shirts, it threads the needle nicely between cocktail bar and tropical escape pod. The menu leans tiki-adjacent rather than deep-cut exotica, but the drinks are smartly built and avoid the "every problem can be solved with more rum" philosophy. There's a solid spread of spirits across the board, which makes the place feel more welcoming to a broader nightlife crowd instead of strictly rum disciples clutching vintage Trader Vic's mugs. The Oaxacan Dead was the standout for me. Smoky, balanced, endlessly sippable. One of those drinks where every sip quietly talks you into ordering another without turning into a sugar avalanche. The Jungle Bird was also great, though presented more in the direction of a Negroni than the punchier tropical versions you usually see. Bitter, restrained, and easy to settle into. Crowd-wise, things tilted a little frat-floaty as the night rolled on, but the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the vibe from turning into full pirate mutiny. Service stayed friendly and composed even when the volume of the room started climbing like a malfunctioning theremin. Big bonus points for the location and outdoor seating. Being right in the middle of Lower State makes it an easy launch point or final stop depending on your evening trajectory. Grab a drink, people-watch, drift between breweries and wine spots, repeat as necessary.

I've been to Santa Barbara loads of time and this was the first time walking into this place. They did have a security guard in front checking ID. The crowd was pretty lively for Saturday night but not too overly packed. Piano man was having his moment. Hence the reason we walked in. Tables and booths were pretty much taken but we manage to get a seat at the bar counter. Cocktail menu had all you drinks, both mixed and specialty. It's a full bar so whatever you're craving I'm sure they could create. We got a few drinks as there was a couple of us. The bartenders was really sweet and fun. She was having a good time and taking care of everyone. It was only her when we walked in but a few others showed up a couple of minutes later. One of the cocktails was a bit too sweet for me so I opted for another. Went with a beer which was ok. Drink wise, about 18-20.00 per cocktails. About average wherever you go to now. Even though we were at the bar counter, a waitress came over to take our order. Piano man was very good. When we walked in he was taking request from the audience. Afterwards, the song choices were pretty great. And the sing along with everyone was fun. Hence why people love a good piano bar. Would I come back, yes. The vibe was great. It was fun place with a good amount of seating. There's a nice big bar area as well as patio seating in front. I don't know if food is offered. Would definitely come back for a fun night.

Sports playing. Biggest down side from my experience was; what I can only presume to be the bar owner's dog, urinating inside on the floor. The (presumed) owner of the dog (and bar) was oblivious/ignored it all. The bartender, when notified initially, ignored the wet floor when we called it out and dismissed it as a water leak. He later came out after the second report of wet floor, and mopped/sanitized the area where it was wet. Several people walked through the "wet spot" and went throughout the space. Whether it was dog urine or water, it is still a wet floor. Please note, I personally witnessed the dog actively urinating when she came over to me for attention because she wasn't getting it from her owner. Final opinion/review from me on this space is please go and support, the staff are attentive and do a great job, but also consider it is potentially may not be sanitary throughout.

I will just forgo the onions next time. That said, the salad was exceptional! The Korean fried chicken wings do you need some attention. They were very mushy and to be honest, slimy--not crispy on the exterior and tender on the inside and the gochujang sauce should be switched out. It's a little off in its taste. I feel it should have more of a spicy-savory honey-sweet mouthwatering gochujang balance. Hint, go to Den Den Korean Fried Chicken in Providence, RI--though I need to remember this is a pub and not a Korean restaurant, ...there are better recipes out there that are worth testing out. I think the flavor and texture was off and can be improved on significantly. The pizza was pretty good--great for a pub and even better heated up the next day in a skillet with olive oil making the crust slightly crispy. There's ample outdoor and indoor seating with that perfect Corner Tap vibe. Also, noteworthy, inside the place it is absolutely spotless! We will return as it is a great place in a great location.
