I am truly blessed to call Homecoming at the Resort my home…read more
When I first visited Homecoming at the Resort in May, I remember walking through the community and thinking, "There is no way they are going to lease an apartment to me." The apartments were so beautiful, the grounds were incredibly well maintained, and the community genuinely looked and felt like a resort. It has every imaginable amenity, including shops right in the middle of the community where you can get ice cream and some really good food. It was absolutely beautiful, but at the time, it felt like something that was probably out of reach for me.
Then I met Amanda, Leasing Administrator, and my entire perspective changed.
Amanda was so encouraging, professional, kind, and positive. She seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for, even when I wasn't sure how to explain it myself. I was coming out of what I can only describe as a wilderness season in my life, and I was carrying a lot of fear and uncertainty.
Amanda called me, and I decided to be completely honest with her. I shared my fears and told her I wasn't sure I would be approved. Instead of making me feel judged or discouraged, she encouraged me to apply anyway. She told me that even if I wasn't approved, she would still help me figure out what options were available to me.
That meant more to me than she probably realized.
There are very few people you meet who genuinely give you hope when you need it most. Amanda is one of those rare people. Her kindness, encouragement, and willingness to help blessed me in a way that went far beyond leasing an apartment. She gave me hope when I really needed it.
And then... I GOT APPROVED!
I've been in my apartment since July, and I can honestly say that I still love it just as much today as I did when I first moved in. My apartment is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and so well taken care of. The community is wonderful, and something that has really touched me is how kind my neighbors are. They actually say good morning, take the time to talk, and genuinely make an effort to get to know me. That kind of community is special.
Every person I've interacted with in the leasing office has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. And it doesn't stop with the office staff. The maintenance crew, gardeners, and everyone I've encountered who works for this company have been so kind and professional.
It truly feels like the people who work here care about the community and the people who live in it.
But I especially want to say THANK YOU, AMANDA.
You may have simply been doing your job, but the way you treated me made a lasting difference in my life. You encouraged me when I was afraid, you saw possibility when I was struggling to see it myself, and you helped me take a step toward something I didn't think was possible.
You are rare, Amanda. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, your encouragement, and for being willing to help me regardless of the outcome. You blessed me with hope--and I'll never forget that.
Homecoming at the Resort isn't just a beautiful place to live. For me, it became a reminder that sometimes a new chapter can begin when you least expect it.
I am grateful. I am thankful. And I am truly blessed to call Homecoming at the Resort HOME.
Thank you to Amanda and the entire Homecoming at the Resort team for making this place feel like home.
