    I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by Stephanie and the property management team. Their enforcement of community rules appears to be inconsistent and selective. While the lease agreement clearly outlines parking policies, these rules are not being applied fairly to all residents. I have personally experienced what feels like targeted enforcement. Other tenants with the same vehicle-related situation as mine are still being allowed to park without issue, yet I am being denied that same consideration. Despite providing photo evidence to support my concerns and demonstrate the inconsistency, I have not received any clear or official explanation as to why my vehicle is being treated differently. Additionally, communication has been abruptly cut off. My emails have gone unanswered, leaving me without clarification or resolution. Professional property management should prioritize transparency, fairness, and open communication with residents. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope this matter is addressed with the fairness and professionalism that all residents deserve.

    If you would like to pay for an overpriced apartment that offers a mediocre at best living experience, than Solamonte is the place for you! For the low low price of $2,500 + you too can experience luxury living at Solamonte. The apartments are tastefully done with filthy carpet, peeling paint and average appliances. You can enjoy the full Solamonte luxury experience where you can hear your neighbors talk through the paper thin walls, throw ragers on their balcony at all hours of the night, blast their music and TVs, drive like psychos in the parking lot, smoke cigarettes and pot in the units and the balconies, leave their dog poop all over the grass and listen in as they beat the absolute living crap out of each other and have the cops show up on a regular basis. You can enjoy the children at play all afternoon in the summer, as they play with balls that smack into parked cars and garage doors without a care in the world while they scream at the top of their lungs without a parent in sight! They are just being kids! Convenience is a top priority at Solamonte. You can have your garage blocked by people who leave their cars unattended for hours on end and illegally in the fire lane. But don't worry - when you try to call the Towing Company they'll tell you they can't do anything about it unless management calls and let's be serious, they never answer the phone or reply to emails because they are too busy trying to sell this luxury experience! You can enjoy the stunning views of the San Gabriel mountains. If birds are your thing, you've come to the right place! This community allows hundreds and hundreds swallows to make filthy disgusting mud filled nests along your window and not do a thing about it! Then, the birds tastefully crap all over the windows, giving you something special to look at as you sip your morning coffee. And don't you worry, the bird poop is here to stay - Solamonte thinks it a nice added touch to the overall luxury experience! If you're a lover of the great outdoors - Solamonte is too! They love to bring the outdoors inside with mice, cockroaches, wasps and spiders - oh my! And don't worry - there is never a permanent solution to your issue. Solamonte is all about a "quick fix!" But if bugs and rodents are not your thing you better make sure you get to the office before Tuesday. That is when the pest control comes if you miss them - you are SOL until the following week! If you love to liter then Solamonte will be perfect for you! People leave their trash scattered throughout the parking lots and sidewalks without a care in the world! It adds to the overall luxury of the living experience! Here you never have to worry about walking to get your mail. Thieves get it for you - so thoughtful! They destroy the mail boxes and take all your personal information - now that's true attention to detail. Safety is their number 1 priority! The "gates" are always breaking, allowing all the homeless and wanderers to come in off the street - talk about inclusivity! The patrol is never here because they are too busy fighting off the bad guys - don't expect them to show up until an hour later - they are short staffed you guys! All in all, if you love paying ridiculous amounts of money to live in the freaking IE in a community led by beyond terrible management, you should call Solamonte your next home. Give them a call today!

    Myriam our leasing agent was so welcoming and helpful in the leasing process! She was a pleasure to work with while we made a move from another county it was easy to get in contact with her and was quick to answer any questions we had. So excited with our new apartment :)

    This is not a place to rent from. If you need something don't call they never answer the phone, going in would be the best but they don't help you either way and make the problem your fault, I haven't had AC in 2 weeks and their response is that I'm complaining it's not cool enough for me when it doesn't cool below 80, so ironic how when you go into the office they have theirs set to 70 but me letting them know the AC doesn't get cooler then 80 is me complaining. What a joke! Yes I do have a pet and with one of their maintenance guys stating he would sue if he got bit and also on another occasion said as long as he can KICK MY DOG it would be ok, not funny even if he was trying to make a joke! They are mad at me for not allowing them inside when I'm not home. With statements like that, yea I don't feel comfortable even if Im watching from my cameras. I gave them so many times to come when I was home but I guess the AC not working isn't a priority for them, they are expecting me to have someone come here to allow them in when they can't give me a window of time when the AC company can come as if people don't have a life! I will say the first company that came out the guys were awesome, they came at the time I said I was leaving but asked if they can meet my dog and both of the guys got down on the floor and played with him so he wasn't scared, the whole time they were here they talked to him and made him feel ok, awesome job on their part but they have nothing to do with the people who work here. Stay away from this place if you can. I'm sure it's not all units have issues but mine has had a couple and it wasn't easy getting them addressed. Still my AC isn't working. I've asked over 3 months ago about pressure washing and blowing the build up on the floor and still nothing, I bought my own blower and do that myself, because it's so gross with all the dog hair and trash. I haven't lived in an apartment in over 15 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had.

Was really looking forward to touring here and thought this could really be a contender based on other apartments I had toured in the area. Their AI system had confirmed our appointment to tour TWICE, once via phone and once via text. And I confirmed both via phone and text that I would be there. We show up and the leasing office was under construction and all the "future resident parking" spaces were marked as "no parking." I checked the email and text they sent us and there was no indication of temporary parking during construction or anything like that. We weren't sure where to park so I called the office twice and both times no one picked up. Eventually I just park in a random open spot and go around the back to check in for our appointment and no one is there. Eventually the maintenance man comes around and tells us that the guy is on lunch and won't be back til 2. We said we had an appointment and he just said "sorry he's not here." With no indication of if we should wait or what we should do. Totally understand you gotta take your lunch, but then you shouldn't have scheduled us for an appointment. And if your AI system confirmed with me TWICE clearly there's some sort of disorganization going on in the background. And with the maintenance man just being unhelpful in general that was all that I needed to know. I've been apartment living for many years now in many different cities. To me, first impressions really matter and are an indication of what we can expect as a tenant so again, that was all I needed to see to know that this would not be a good place to live. Amenities looked nice from the outside I guess, but can't really share too much detail on that, again since no one was there to show us around. We ended up signing same day at a different apartment nearby at a similar price point but had a better overall experience. Update: added pictures below to show that I did confirm my attendance since their office called me and told me I didn't confirm with them my appointment. Maybe a miscommunication but clearly their system is bugging.

You can tell that the even coordinator, Kim, has put so much thought, effort, and care into the numerous events and activities she's provided us residents. She brings life to this community. She truly goes above and beyond and you can tell that she really has a passion for bringing people together. Christine, Brittani, Aaryn and Jeanine were great. Also Ralph but I don't think he's there any longer. The entire maintenance crew was also great. Mike, sam, and another SUPER kind gentleman but I seemed to have forgotten how to spell his name but I left him a review on another site. It started with a D so if you guys could remind me that would be great! So I can properly recognize him on here. The property is VERY well kept, and beautifully maintained. Pool has always been clean, same for the gym. I only have a few downsides (notice I didn't remove any stars for them) I know they do TRY. (Maybe corporate can work on the parking one). First is parking- please note your vehicle will have to fit in the tandem spot. (There are various sizes, some are long enough to fit a semi while others would only fit a smart car) I know it may seem like an obvious fact but some people actually get away with it if their neighbors seem fine with it. However, one of my neighbors did NOT. I have 4 kids in car seats and when we moved in, we had a smaller vehicle but we knew we were going to get a larger one. We got an SUV & Our parking spot was all the way to the back of the alley, so it was pretty "out of the way". But we still got complaints (pretty sure from the same person) that it stuck out of the given space. We tried parking it in our garage, but because we would be unable to open the doors and load all the kids in, it wasn't really an option. We ended up having to park in the visitor parking. Which was also unfavorable since we had to carry/ walk with our 4 small kids across the parking lot and up to our unit. So please be mindful of that. Second- while this specific area of Rancho is beautiful and overall "safe", PLEASE remember to lock your cars. I can admit I have left my guard down a few times and I didn't double check that the cars were locked so my car got broken into and my mother's bag was stolen. The vehicle was parked in our tandem spot. We did file a police report and the leasing office DID do their best to resolve any issues we had (they replaced my apartment keys and changed the lock on my unit.) so again I really couldn't dock them for that. I'm only sharing these things with you as reminders. I don't want these things to deter you from considering Carmel as a place to live because we did enjoy living there and we were very sad that we left. Overall, the highlights are the staff and the appearance of the apartment complex as a whole. Thank you Carmel for a great year with you!

Shelly and Chrissy are a great team of handling big and small requests from us. I remember one time, some random salesman came to my apartment wandering when I was not home, I caught that on my camera so I called the leasing office and asked for Shelly's help because I have a package delivery soon during that time. Shelly ran from the office to my apartment and requested the person leave the complex, and I never see any salesman knocking on my door since then. After Chrissy and Shelly came, the dog poop bags are always refilled, they even make the office feel like home to us, they hosted different events for different holidays celebrations and enlightened our stay a lot. We love Shelly and Chrissy, they are the reason why we would still staying in this complex, cannot imagine a day without them, especially Shelly. They are so good that actually makes the complex really dog friendly, including the office. Before this team came, we felt unwelcome and not truly dog friendly. But now, we hope to stay longer because of how good they are, will highly recommend this community to everyone who wants to live in a good environment with good energy people to manage the complex!

Recently, I needed to break my lease due to unforeseen circumstances and was open to reasonable solutions, such as a payment plan. However, none were offered. Crystal Chou the manager showed no empathy and made it clear that the buck stops with her because she is the regional manager of the whole southern California, so there is no one else I could speak with. Crystal Chou refused to involve anyone else who might have been able to help. The only options presented were to pay the full amount owed immediately on my departure, assume responsibly until my lease is up or until the unit is rented. last choice is to allow the account to go into collections and ruin my credit. For a long-term, reliable tenant, this lack of flexibility, consideration, and basic human decency is extremely disappointing. However, I do feel I should have some sort of penalty for breaking a17 month lease, 6 months before it ended but being charged $5770.00 early termination fee, plus a month of rent for a grand total of $7020.17 is unfair. Well just make sure you pay attention to the fine print before you sign your lease agreement. Even though it was a nice place to live but due to unwillingness to work with me when my life circumstances change, I would never return as a tenant.
