The amenities are excellent -- the pool and jacuzzi are always clean, the gym is fully equipped, and the property is very pet-friendly. The underground parking with security is a great feature, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The maintenance team is outstanding; every time I needed something fixed, it was taken care of the same day. The Colonies is walking distance, and everything you need is right there! We moved to Upland in 2021 and moved out in July of 2025 after living in three different apartments within the community. Throughout our time there, the team consistently took great care of us and made every transition smooth and stress-free. Tara and Andrew always handled everything like pros, making sure we had what we needed every step of the way. Donny and Ulysses will make sure you are taken care of and that everything is working up to par. The pool is well maintained, the gym is top notch for an apartment, and the clubhouse is perfect for a birthday party or any get together. The common areas are always clean and well kept. Amazing, amazing APARTMENT! As a single female I feel extremely safe living on my own here. The tour I received from Andrew was so detailed and he even gave me 30 minutes additional after answering all my questions. Tara Stone , the manager kept in touch with me during move-in and even checked up on me during my first month of living here. I moved back to this apartment complex as I was one of the first residence to move here from the previous management company, which was horrible. I relocated for a job when the new management team took over and there has been a dramatic difference. The enhancements they made with the small technology advances to make living easier has been an extreme plus. I love being able to walk everywhere not only to dine but to shop and relax. My husband and I loved living at the Upland and the only reason we moved was because we had the opportunity to get a house. The amenities are kept clean (pool area, bbq and gym were never dirty) as well as the property itself. The neighbors we had were kind and not noisy and any issues that arose requiring maintenance were always addressed quickly. Office staff, management and custodians on site were always friendly and eager to help (which has not been our experience in past complex's we have lived in and paid a lot more in rent) We loved the companies online portal to pay rent and request maintenance and overall we were very happy in our apartment. I love that the community is small and the location is just beautiful. The staff here is very attentive, professional and friendly... from the office to the maintenance staff...they take care of business and are very pleasant when doing so. I had the privilege to live here at the Upland for two years and it is the coolest spot in the IE! What I enjoyed most is the proximity to all the shopping and restaurants. I can walk across the street get a pizza and beer plus hiking trail right behind the complex. I like that all I had to bring was my toothbrush & clothes cause the apartment was turn key with appliances and open floor plan. My fiancé and I have been living here at the Upland for close to five months now. We absolutely love it here and here's why: - Management is amazing. Super upfront and response time is so quick. Tara helped us get our dream apartment and everyone in the office is just awesome. - Parking is the best I've ever seen at all the apartments we checked out and lived in. It's open parking but there is also endless underground parking. Not once did I ever had an issue parking. - The amenities!!! I cancelled my gym membership and work out here now. They have everything you need and for the most part it's empty so it's almost like a private gym. There's a hiking trail directly behind us that we love walking after dinner, and the pool/jacuzzi are so well kept and heated! - The location! You can walk to just about everything you need. There's an Albertsons right next door, a target, TJ max, and so many restaurants. And close to the freeway! Anyways. We love living here!! read more

In a lovely part of town, convenient shopping and freeway access. But VERY filthy and unkempt. It's embarrassing. Facility entrances and exits don't work. Locks barely work. Barely see custodial workers. The facility is dilapidated and run down. The cops and parole officers are here on regular for tenants. No one observes the no-smoking policy. Few people pick up after their pets, dog poop and the smell of marijuana is everywhere. If you are looking for a beautiful upscale place to rent, please take your very hard earned coins elsewhere. We have lived at The Uplands apartments for almost 3 years now and they are great. If you ever have any maintenance issues, which are rare, Ulysses will fix it right away! The office staff, Tara, she always has a smile on her face and she is very welcoming and helpful with anything you need! Andrew is another staff member who is very helpful and always says hello to everyone he see's. There are great walking trails around the apartments which help you stay in shape, as well as the nice gym and pool that they have! I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone! read more

They gouge you for rent and don't take care of anything when you call them. I've had holes in my shower since I moved in 10/30/21. I've told maintenance the front office and still nothing. Now I've lived here less than 2 months and I've been without hot water for at least 6 days. They don't even let us know by email that we aren't going to have hot water. I've lived in a lot of communities this one is by far the worst. I live on the fourth floor and if the suns out the dog area smells so bad I can't open my windows or patio door. Now we have people leaving garbage just outside the common areas nothing gets picked up for days. I'm so disappointed I rented here this is going to cost me over 40k for the year and it's awful. I'd say if you're looking for a place pass on this one. Unless you like your area smelling like dog piss and trash left all over the place. I personally like hot showers but that doesn't seem to be something I can get either. read more
