Before moving in the upland apartment, I have seen almost all the apartments in this area including upland, Rancho, Pomona, chino, chino hills, you name it! After living here for a year, I can honestly say that I made the right choice, the upland apartment is still the best. The environment, the amenities, the convenience and the staff working here, the people living here are perfect. Love all dearly! If you are looking for a place to stay, this is the place you'd like to call home and really feel like home. read more

We moved to Upland in 2021 and moved out in July of 2025 after living in three different apartments within the community. Throughout our time there, the team consistently took great care of us and made every transition smooth and stress-free. Tara and Andrew always handled everything like pros, making sure we had what we needed every step of the way. Donny and Ulysses will make sure you are taken care of and that everything is working up to par. The pool is well maintained, the gym is top notch for an apartment, and the clubhouse is perfect for a birthday party or any get together. The common areas are always clean and well kept. We only moved out because we were able to purchase our first home. Tara, Andrew, Donny, and Ulysses--thank you for making the last four years great and for treating us like family. read more

I was a resident at The Upland for four years, and my experience was amazing. It's a luxury apartment community with a beautiful view of the mountains. The amenities are excellent -- the pool and jacuzzi are always clean, the gym is fully equipped, and the property is very pet-friendly. The underground parking with security is a great feature, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The maintenance team is outstanding; every time I needed something fixed, it was taken care of the same day. The Colonies is walking distance, and everything you need is right there! (Grocery, restaurants, Shopping centers, etc.) It was a beautiful four years filled with many great memories. I highly recommend The Upland if you're planning on moving! read more

We absolutely loved living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing experience. The community facilities are always super clean, you can tell it's well taken care of. They also offer so many community events and promote small businesses. You can tell they really focus on building a community here and we definitely felt it when living here. Highly recommended even for the pickiest of personalities. Am confident the nice folks here will welcome you & never make you want to leave. Tara & Andrew are a delight to work with and are well versed in customer service. Great work and pride in work does not go unnoticed--the team here are responsive, thorough & actionable. Ulices the maintenance manager is on the ball & maintenance items are addressed immediately. Daunte is good too. This pride of ownership building is run like a well oiled machine & I highly recommend it. Tour the asset & if you're lucky enough, you may experience one of their many events and/or food vendors they constantly host for their residents. -El Perro read more

I lived at The Upland for 3 years and it was a wonderful place to call home. The management team was always quick to respond to any requests or questions, which made living here stress-free. Special shout out to Tara and Andrew who have saved me on multiple occasions (Tara went out of her way to help me when I locked myself out, and Andrew patiently opened every single Amazon locker to track down an important missing package)! Their dedication and professionalism truly made a difference. Huge thanks to the entire Upland team for creating such a welcoming community -- they deserve recognition for all their hard work! read more

I've been a resident at The Upland since it first opened, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. The location is incredibly convenient, with a variety of shops and dining options just steps away. The views are beautiful, and the trail behind the community is perfect for exercise or a relaxing walk with your dog. The community itself is welcoming, with friendly neighbors and a management team that is both responsive and professional. Tara, in particular, stands out as she genuinely cares about the resident experience and consistently goes above and beyond. Overall, I highly recommend The Upland to friends and family looking for a great place to live. read more

Amazing, amazing APARTMENT! As a single female I feel extremely safe living on my own here. The tour I received from Andrew was so detailed and he even gave me 30 minutes additional after answering all my questions. Tara Stone , the manager kept in touch with me during move-in and even checked up on me during my first month of living here. I moved back to this apartment complex as I was one of the first residence to move here from the previous management company, which was horrible. I relocated for a job when the new management team took over and there has been a dramatic difference. The enhancements they made with the small technology advances to make living easier has been an extreme plus. I love being able to walk everywhere not only to dine but to shop and relax. Super family friendly and I don't see myself living anywhere else. read more

My husband and I loved living at the Upland and the only reason we moved was because we had the opportunity to get a house. The amenities are kept clean (pool area, bbq and gym were never dirty) as well as the property itself. The neighbors we had were kind and not noisy and any issues that arose requiring maintenance were always addressed quickly. Office staff, management and custodians on site were always friendly and eager to help (which has not been our experience in past complex's we have lived in and paid a lot more in rent) We loved the companies online portal to pay rent and request maintenance and overall we were very happy in our apartment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and upscale living experience that is pet and kid friendly! read more

The easy move-in process was a major highlight. Tara and Michaele were organized and efficient, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation were handled smoothly. They patiently answered all my questions, providing me with all the information I needed to feel confident about my decision. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and secure during the transition. Apart from the exceptional leasing staff, the apartment complex itself is fantastic. The friendly and nice ambient atmosphere is evident from the moment you step onto the property. The well-maintained grounds and beautifully landscaped common areas create a serene and inviting environment. It's a pleasure to come home to such a peaceful setting after a long day The amenities provided by the complex are top-notch. From the fitness center to the sparkling pool, everything is well-maintained and easily accessible. The community events organized by the complex are a wonderful way to connect with neighbors and create a sense of community. read more

I was very nervous having to move into an apartment after living in a house for such a long time. Found out that there wasn't a need for that after moving here. I love that the community is small and the location is just beautiful. The staff here is very attentive, professional and friendly... from the office to the maintenance staff...they take care of business and are very pleasant when doing so. There are tons of events here for residents. I love that they spotlight small business owners that reside here and I love all the food trucks they bring in for the community members, from taco trucks, bbq and Cousins Main Lobster! I feel safe here and when any issue has come up, it is taken care of immediately. Even my pup is happy! Going on three years here and am very happy I made the move to The Upland! read more

I had the privilege to live here at the Upland for two years and it is the coolest spot in the IE! What I enjoyed most is the proximity to all the shopping and restaurants. I can walk across the street get a pizza and beer plus hiking trail right behind the complex. I like that all I had to bring was my toothbrush & clothes cause the apartment was turn key with appliances and open floor plan. The staff is amazing and the manager Tara makes you feel accepted, she cares, & her staff gives amazing customer service. The Upland is always putting a cool monthly event together to create community with the residents. Get in if you can cause the pool and gym are perfect for staying active & fit read more

My fiancé and I have been living here at the Upland for close to five months now. We absolutely love it here and here's why: - Management is amazing. Super upfront and response time is so quick. Tara helped us get our dream apartment and everyone in the office is just awesome. - Parking is the best I've ever seen at all the apartments we checked out and lived in. It's open parking but there is also endless underground parking. Not once did I ever had an issue parking. - The amenities!!! I cancelled my gym membership and work out here now. They have everything you need and for the most part it's empty so it's almost like a private gym. There's a hiking trail directly behind us that we love walking after dinner, and the pool/jacuzzi are so well kept and heated! - The location! You can walk to just about everything you need. There's an Albertsons right next door, a target, TJ max, and so many restaurants. And close to the freeway! Anyways. We love living here!! read more

I've had a great experience at this complex and wanted to give a shout out to the maintenance team. My washing machine needed to be replaced and not only did they order me a new machine, the team of Ulices and Jerry quickly removed and installed the new unit. Grateful for all their hard work! read more

In a lovely part of town, convenient shopping and freeway access. But VERY filthy and unkempt. It's embarrassing. Facility entrances and exits don't work. Locks barely work. Barely see custodial workers. The facility is dilapidated and run down. The cops and parole officers are here on regular for tenants. No one observes the no-smoking policy. Few people pick up after their pets, dog poop and the smell of marijuana is everywhere. If you are looking for a beautiful upscale place to rent, please take your very hard earned coins elsewhere. I cannot wait until my lease is up. read more

My wife an I took a tour of the Upland in June of 2023 and were immediately sold. And we just moved in at the beginning of March of 2024 and living here has exceeded the expectations from the tour! The Upland is clean, quiet, safe, in a great location with all the amenities one would need and a great view of the San Gabriel mountains! Andrew and Tara in the leasing office are great and made the process of applying from afar a snap. The unit it spacious, both living and storage, great appliances, very comfortable. I cannot say enough and we are so glad we chose The Upland as our new home upon relocating from Monterey! read more

This review is specific to The Upland maintenance team. Often they are the unsung heroes of apartment communities, however without them many of the things we take for granted would be dysfunctional. The maintenance team here is super responsive, courteous, and professional. I want to give a special shout-out to Jerry who also recently replaced my fridge water filter within 24 hours of me posting the request. Super professional, and courteous. Thank you Jerry! read more

My wife and I loved our time at The Upland. We reminisce and talk about all the great times we had living there often. The property manager, Tara Stone, is so helpful and accommodating. From the moment she gave us our tour of the property, we knew it was home. The Upland is located in a clean, safe, and convenient location. Actually, The Upland is in a perfect location. There's Albertsons for groceries, Brew Bees for your morning coffee, TJ Maxx and so many other stores within walking distance. We would have lived here for a long time had my job not relocated us. If you're coming to Yelp for some assistance in deciding whether to move here or not, let me help you out. MOVE IN! This place is perfect and the staff is attentive to all your needs. read more

They gouge you for rent and don't take care of anything when you call them. I've had holes in my shower since I moved in 10/30/21. I've told maintenance the front office and still nothing. Now I've lived here less than 2 months and I've been without hot water for at least 6 days. They don't even let us know by email that we aren't going to have hot water. I've lived in a lot of communities this one is by far the worst. I live on the fourth floor and if the suns out the dog area smells so bad I can't open my windows or patio door. Now we have people leaving garbage just outside the common areas nothing gets picked up for days. I'm so disappointed I rented here this is going to cost me over 40k for the year and it's awful. I'd say if you're looking for a place pass on this one. Unless you like your area smelling like dog piss and trash left all over the place. I personally like hot showers but that doesn't seem to be something I can get either. read more

Made an appointment at 2 to look at a place. Drove a whole hour just to look at the place just for me to get there and read a note on the door that said at lunch be back in 30 minutes. Waited 45 minutes with my baby and still nobody at the door to open it or help me. This place is a joke. Why can't one person go on lunch at a time. You all need to go eat together? What clowns.
