Perhaps he should use those himself, when he attends the therapy session he so dearly needs. I was pretty set on making this my home gym, but thank god I went for a tour first. It's kind of dingy inside, the photos are much nicer. There's better gyms with a nicer ambiance for sure.

However, today I was disappointed, not because of Chris or his team, but because of some individuals who seem to have a poor, b!tchy attitude. Many of us long-time patrons consider this place our own, and we take pride in its cleanliness, quality equipment, and friendly atmosphere. So, if you're someone who complains a lot (we used to allow dogs until today, but due to a few complaints, I can't bring in the dog I'm training for a rescue), or if you don't know how to wipe down equipment or, for some reason, decide to put white chalk all over plates and machines (seriously, why chalk on a cable machine?), it might be better for you to find a different gym, maybe an Esporta (LA Fitness), which might be more suited to complainers and those who leave a mess. I really hope we don't lose the unique vibe and energy of this place. I am starting to feel like I'm being pushed out of MY gym. ‍ PS. We had an amazing, fun and friendly "therapy" dog that use to come with one of the trainers and now thanks to the Karen's, it is no more. I will miss those friendly eyes and zoomies.

His program has helped address issues that I didn't realize were holding me back like hip mobility, ankle instability and wrist weakness. My health has improved dramatically in unexpected ways. My job is highly stressful, which the lifting helped me find my zen place... I know it sounds weird to me too, but it's true! I've cut back on my heart medication. Most importantly I'm working out consistently. Lastly - I have learned to love my body. A lot of people might have the goal to lose weight... I wanted muscle and strength. She took the time to explain the reformers (which we had never used before) and guided us through everything so we didn't feel lost. There was also another instructor taking the class with us, and she was just as sweet and supportive. Everyone ,from staff to instructors , made us feel welcome, supported, and empowered. It was a genuinely fun and challenging workout -- the kind that makes you sweat but still enjoy every second. I'm already planning to come back for another class.
