The outdoor basketball half court is a huge plus, and they just added another water filling station upstairs. I also really enjoy the free strength and mobility classes held by Audrey on Saturdays for members. -- Go to this!!!! My flexibility has increased tremendously! They play good music and the staff has a genuine concern for the member experience, especially Audrey, Alex, and Sydney! PLUS: They bring in vendors - I have gotten a free tub of protein powder, free protein treats and smoothies, and a free stretch session! Also, most people wipe down equipment after use! I have tried the personal training with three trainers. I liked it for the most part, and definitely saw positive results. My negatives are that this is an influencer gym, and some members can take over a ton of space trying to get the perfect shot or video; I have had issues with their parking system and got an expensive ticket (the system seems to have been resolved in the last few weeks); and the water stations can sometimes be broken (member caused). With all that said I'd recommend TC in a heartbeat! I also love that this is locally owned and operated! I've tried EoS, MountainSide, Planet Fitness, YouFit, LA, True Althletic, Sports Club at City Square, and Jab in the Valley in the last 10 years. The staff member was friendly and helpful, but when I mentioned I was visiting from out of state, she told me that the pass is only for Arizona residents. This small little detail is NOWHERE to be found on their website. If I had known, I wouldn't have come in the first place. This was misleading, and I wish the website had said that it was for residents only. I already made the trip there and was in a situation so I ended up paying for the day pass. Not happy about it.

The 45 minute time frame and tons of times available to make sure you can work it in your schedule. I get an absolutely epic workout each time. I get more out of that 45 minutes than any other work outs I've tried. The trainers are all knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. The community of people is wonderful. But for me, it's the convenience. Down the road, 45 minutes, epic workout...cardio, strength, and hybrid classes. They make sure all muscle groups are being worked as well as cardio. I cannot recommend F45 midtown enough.

Long post alert! This is a note for folks of all ages,…read moreshapes, and fitness levels: So. I was the person who talked to countless gyms after my own gym closed without notice (Burst! Fitness). Prior to Burst! I was kind of a gym drifter. EOS, LA Fit, Planet Fit, Crunch Fit. I tried them all on for size. Didn't like them (nothing wrong with them, just didn't quite meet my needs). The search continued. I started deep-diving on the internet. There had to be an existing place out there that fit my needs right?? Over several months and consultations with private gyms in Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale- Underground Fitness showed up on my radar. Leading up to my initial meeting with them, I was pretty deflated. Perfection is subjective- and I'd been looking for my version of a perfect fit for months and hadn't even come close. If I was going to join a gym at this point, I needed some convincing. But not in the typical gym-salesman pitch way. I needed to be bought-in. I needed to see the passion. The knowledge, the dedication, the practicing-what-you-preach. The ability to teach. I don't know maybe I'm a tough sell with unrealistic expectations *shrugs* My meeting went well. Ron was patient. I asked so many questions I made my own self tired. He didn't get tired. All of my reservations were addressed. I was satisfied. By the end of the meeting I could tell, this guy could seriously talk about this stuff all day. Passion: check. The program I selected felt like it would work with my schedule, the price was comfortable, and so far the customer service was on point. Ok...ok...willing to give these guys a chance. What's 9 weeks, am I right? That was in September 2019. It is now February 2020, 5 months later- I'm fully bought in. It did take some time to realize that this was the place for me, so I encourage readers of this review to keep that in mind. From my very beginning the team at Underground Fitness was communicative, invested in my success, flexible, creative, and believed in me more than I did. For those who I've worked with: Ron never blinked an eye when I needed to talk to him about absolutely anything at all (literally anything). Camille comes to my aide with worksheets, resources and meal ideas as I struggle with meeting my macros. She checks in on my off days, finger always on the pulse. She gently pushes me when I'm being a huge baby. She throws fun creative workouts our way, during which I can be observed smiling from ear to ear. They are so fun! The hour is over before I even know it! Daniel challenges every inch of air available in my lungs with creative circuits, helping me learn to use my body as an extension of myself. Teaching me how to stay grounded in my workouts (I can be super ADD). Each of them keeping a critical eye on form and technique. They are patient when I am low energy and have a sad workout. They are excited for me when I make progress. Even though these team members have spent years learning the fitness do's and don'ts for themselves, I never feel anything but encouraged when demonstrating my own lack of knowledge in nutrition and physiology. Instead of teaching me to lift, she told me I "wasn't ready" for the squat rack and would push circuit training and resistance bands. Eventually even though i have asthma and limitations she would end up telling me to do cardio. I felt discouraged and watched HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS go down the drain. As a neurodivergent person, speaking up wasn't easy, but I finally went to the PT manager. He paired me with Jack for my remaining sessions. ​The Sweet: I wish I'd been paired with Jack from day one! He put me right on the dang squat rack during our first session. He actually listened, remembered my physical limitations, and tailored everything to MY goals. He is incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable. ​The Verdict: The gym itself is great, but the training experience is only as good as your trainer. If you want a serious, attentive coach who actually listens, do yourself a favor and sign up with Jack.

Those issues are frustrating, but they're tolerable. What is not tolerable is having money withdrawn from your account using a signature you did not authorize. When confronted about it, instead of taking responsibility or offering a simple apology, they seem to go above and beyond to find excuses for how the "mistake" happened. Mistakes can happen, but unauthorized charges and the use of a signature that isn't yours are serious matters. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of accountability. At this point, it's not about dirty lockers or bad-smelling bathrooms. It's about trust, accountability, and how customers are treated when something serious goes wrong.

All the coaches are encouraging, and they push you while still respecting your boundaries. There's a focus on "quality over quantity" to make sure good form comes first, which is different from other group fitness classes. The coaches really do give people the attention they need--even people who have never set foot in a gym and need instruction for every station. And there's no need to be intimidated because everyone there is focusing on themselves, rather than their surroundings. I'm so glad I found this little community!

The guy will keep your heart rate up and use all different type of functional workouts to hit every part of the muscle. I would highly recommend the guy for all fitness and diet goals.
