Everything was fine! Street metered parking is around. Easy to find restaurant. Service was good, there was only us (table of 3) and 2 people at the bar for a couple hours after 5pm on a Monday. They were out of a couple food items, and having a limited menu does take a large hit on the experience, but not their servers fault. Lots of couch sitting, not lots of eating normal table height seating. Indoor & outdoor seats. Nice downtown location right across from The Orpheum!

We went for their Halloween theme and it was so cool. I love that they decorate so much for each theme and really go all out. The drinks we got were tasty and I especially liked the one that came in a glowing cup. The staff there were super nice as always and checked in on us a few time. Very fun!

Another great experience here! They have Pokemon menu currently, it's pretty fun. They have base drinks and you can "level up" like with actual Pokemon! As always, the bartenders are friendly and helpful to suggest what you may like. The menu's pretty extensive, so it was hard to choose but I really liked the drink I got. I don't remember what it was but it was rum based and had a whisky barrel aged port float.

I love love love Mercury. I don't think i've ever had a drink I didn't love here. They have rotating menus with different themes, so you can always expect something fun and new. This time when I went they had their Christmas pop up. The whole bar was decked out in Christmas decor and i LOVE it. The service is also always great!! Another added perk is they have a vending machine in their women's bathroom that sells emergency contraceptives and pregnancy tests. An overall amazing business that I feel good supporting!

Mercury is probably best known in Omaha for their elaborate themed menus and decor, which I have a deep appreciation for. However, I find myself coming back to Mercury time and time again not only for the fun rotating themed menus, but the service as well. I have had exceptional service every time I've been to Mercury, but our bartender tonight, Lindsay, went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good evening despite them being understaffed and super busy. She's the type of person that makes me want to come back to this bar again and again. Shout out to Lindsay!!! You rock!! Give that girl a raise!

Whenever i am in the area and can find parking i love to stop in here! Mercury is such a chill spot to sip on some fancy whiskey / scotch / vodka / whatever. The staff is always inviting and explain items to you. One thing i love about this place is the playful drinks and menus they do. This particular evening it was an entire Pokemon book of drinks based on the different characters. Such a fun and cheeky thing! If you have not been here what are you waiting for? If you dont like the fancy or rare stuff the drinks they have craft typically are not uber expensive. So a couple drinks and fun ambiance shouldn't break the budget.

Mercury continues to not disappoint! Per usual, the holiday decorations are off the chart amazing and the holiday cocktail menu was scrumptious. Definitely one of my favorite cocktail bars in Omaha

Stopped here for a cocktail . Enjoyed the interactive cocktail menu and the relaxed atmosphere. Has a cool low key retro vibe. Ordered their old fashioned which was awesome, which arrived with a crystal clear chunk of ice from their Clinnebell ice machine and their Cubano sandwich. Generously served.....like my mom msde it for me. friendly service. They have cool seating choices being at the bar, at tables or sofas paired with chairs.

We stopped in for drinks and dinner before seeing the musical "Tina" at the Orpheum. We did not have reservations and were seated no problem! It is a very cool setting and we had a group of 4 so sat at the couches. Staff were very nice and welcoming since it was our first time. The drinks were themed from the zoo. Fun to read and were excellent! The food was well prepared and very good! We had deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and cheese fondue. All were great to share and tasted great! The cubano was very good as well as the Bolognese. We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal drinks and food! Their very clever drink menu is on a zoo map, and all of the cocktails have a zoo themed name. For an appetizer, we enjoyed the roasted brussels sprouts With hot honey, almonds, and sesame. They have the perfect amount of spice. I had the vegan Bahn Mi sandwich, and it was absolutely perfectly flavored. My husband had the Cubano sandwich and it was also excellent. Both meals were served with a generous serving of french fries. The service was excellent. I loved the decor! It is a super fun, unique bar/restaurant. I highly recommend you try it!

We started with the pork momo. We've had these before and they're always a great choice. The filling was rich and flavorful, the dumpling dough was perfectly chewy and the dipping sauces added another level of depth and flavor. For mains we split the duck breast and the tagliatelle. The duck was cooked perfectly and the bok choy that came with it added a perfect amount of crunch and mustard flavor. The tagliatelle was rich and the variety of mushrooms in the sauce added so much umami. We look forward to returning!

This place taught me a thing or two about vegetables, which delighted all of our senses, and I highly recommend trying a variety of their small plates. This is worth a few minute detour. If you live here, well then, lucky you! Our servers carefully detailed the menu and let us taste a new wine prior to ordering. The dinner service manager is knowledgeable and passionate about the dining experience. When we ordered the radicchio salad, I was skeptical that it would be bitter, but was curious to try it. My husband and I could have fought over it--it was that good! The cauliflower was roasted perfectly, and sat upon a sweet and spice infused puree called mahummara with crunchy pine nuts. The complexity of spices compelled us to try another bite, and then another... Roasted carrots are tender and sweet. Paired with cool yogurt and chili crunch, they ascend into another level of deliciousness. A tear of fresh bread across bits of remaining sauce, and then (not a minute sooner) "we are satiated, thank you!" and the server can take the plate. The restaurant is adjacent to a theater that shows unique offerings and they will sometimes coordinate events with menus. We liked the simple cafe style tables and openness. First off, the interior is pretty cute, so I will give them that. But the feng shui of the inside was not super conducive to holding a large crowd of people. Random smattering of chairs in different heights and sizes, so it can be too small for a large group and too big for a couple. There were two big shows downtown, along with the CWS people in town, so it was crazy down there. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, they sort of looked around to see if there was a seat for us (what was the purpose of the reservation?). They first were going to seat us at a low set of arm chairs with a coffee table between them. Somewhere you'd like to sit and have a drink, not a full meal over a coffee table. So then they sat us at a gigantic eight-person high top table when there were only two of us - pretty awkward. We weren't really acknowledged for the first ten minutes or so, but as I said, they were very busy. Our server was great, though, once he got to us. We decided on a few things to eat as we ordered our drinks, knowing we were on a time crunch before the show. We started with the "Devils in Disguise" deviled eggs, and those came out pretty fast and were tasty, with a nice egg base and a candied type bacon on top. They were not too big of eggs, too, so not the type you have to unhinge your jaw to eat, which I appreciated. After the deviled eggs, everything slowed down immensely. Food was coming out around us, but not ours. Large groups who came after we had been there a while, and had ordered way more than us obviously, were getting their food before us. Entree-wise, my husband wanted to try the Prime Rib, as it was the special of the evening. But our server let him know that it was cooked a little over, but in his opinion was still good, so my husband took a chance. Well, let me tell you, it was NOT good. Very dry and almost inedible. The jus that came with it did help a tad bit, but not really actually. The potatoes that came on the side of it also were literally inedible. Burnt and oily and hard, we couldn't even chew them. I had two of the Bao Buns, the Bao Chika Wowza and the Shrimply Irresistible. They were each pretty good, but a little on the spendy side for how small they were. We let our server know about my husband's prime rib being gross, and they did offer to make him anything else he wanted, but we did not have time to wait any more (since the first things we ordered took forever to come out), so he declined, and they just took it off the bill. The decor is cute and our server was nice and doing everything he could to help the situation, but overall, we left still hungry to our concert and got takeout elsewhere when we got home.
