Visit this cat cafe to get your cat therapy & see the cats personality They are a foster home to create a better environment than the shelters. The cats are all adoptable through lucky dog animal rescue, which rescue homeless & shelter cats from being euthanized. All the cats have been medically checked, neutered/spayed and up to date on their vaccines. The reservation fees here go towards caring and housing the cats. If you want to give back to the community, you can also volunteer here! The cats you can tell are well taken care of and loved. Mostly everyone here is volunteers and they're super nice. They provide you like a bio of the cats. It's really clean here. We even got treats to feed the cats. They host these Events that you can find on their insta: games with cats , kitten yoga ‍, paint & pet evening‍, knitty kitty tea party , trivia nights, reading nights I recommend to Reserve online. They have increments of 15 mins, 30 mins, & 1 hr. There are walk-in but you can be denied if the cafe is full. Tip #1Make sure to bring socks. You will be asked to take off your shoes. There are 15-20 cats at a time You can order drinks and empanadas from cafeconbagel next door. Visit their website for FAQs & the adoption process. Only 7 yrs & up. There's Street parking nearby and Foggy Bottom Station. They have 3 tables with few seats each. Come out and support the kitties and this business!

Great spot with great cats! Meo Maison is a wonderful alternative to Crumbs on M St. It smells much less too! Overall, solid cats, nice space, and friendly staff. They offer events on random days each month, like painting classes, so keep an eye on their calendar!

Mèo Maison is AMAZING! Mèo Maison is a new cat café in Georgetown. It's large, clean, really well (and cutely) decorated, and just a happy place to be. You can tell that a lot of love was poured into it, which is really nice. As is the case with most cat cafés, it's best to reserve time in advance, as they limit the number of folks inside at any given time. Mèo Maison is the happiest cat café I've been to in the world - and I've literally been to dozens. You can tell that the cats are genuinely happy and thriving here: they're cuddly, relaxed, and just enjoying their lives. While some cat cafes can feel a bit crowded, smelly, and tense, Mèo Maison is spacious, clean, and just plain happy. It doesn't surprise me that the cats here get adopted really quickly, as it's really hard to not want to adopt them all!

I stumbled upon this cat cafe and I'm so glad that I did. For all your cat therapy needs, come here!! Each kitty is rescued and adoptable. The staff is friendly and caring. You can tell the cats are well cared for, and the cafe is clean. I'm looking forward to another visit soon.

    Rex is my favorite.

You gotta go here! It's wonderful to spend an impromptu 20 minutes (I extend every visit, whenever I'm in the neighborhood) to just pause and *gather your thoughts* while observing and being approached by and playing with and getting your love on for these wonderful soft creatures. I'm a nut for dogs (still), but now I've really been brought over to the FELINE side. Hard day at the office, and your dinner date's running late? Step out of your shoes (please--they provide footies if you're not wearing socks) and into this cozy, PEOPLE-controlled environment (the best part is that they limit the number of visitors so the cat-to-human ratio is in your favor). There are comfy, LOW benches (welcome for my lousy knees, to get down low with the kitties), loads of toys and treats, in an environment where, frankly, these cats have hit the jackpot. But one (or two! or more!) will really win when they come home with you forever. (Following careful vetting, to be sure). I just can't say enough warm and fuzzy things about these fabulous critters and this atmosphere except to add that I recently learned a few minutes of this cat magic has been SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN to LOWER you BLOOD PRESSURE! What does NOT lower MY blood pressure is reading the unfortunate review below: I gotta remind myself to IGNORE the haters. All I did get from it (didn't read reviews of this place before) was not to go overboard on your first visit: make it a walk-in if it's not too crowded, and/or don't book a whole hour unless you know you'll be there for that long. Bring a friend or a kid(s) to help you interview your (or their) potential new mate(s). Oh yeah, it's a clean & friendly space, and I had no trouble connecting to the internet or texting pix to friends of the new friends I was making there. I wasn't there for the coffee, so no report on that, but you won't regret a single minute you spend here at, lemme see if I can get the spelling right, MÈO MAISON. (the website's nice, too: pretty sure that's meowmaison.com. And I gotta get it in here somehow: this cat house will more than meet all your expectations PURRfectly!

Charming and sweet cat café, a must see while in Georgetown! The owner is very passionate about her work and all of the cats are sweet, friendly and well cared for. The evening events that happen weekly are also super cute!

After my first sip, I was expecting it to be a little sweet, but it was not at all. However, as I shook my cup a bit more it tasted how I wanted it - that helped. Enjoyed this drink. Even though there is seating both indoors and outdoors, there are not a lot of seats overall. We lucked out as someone was leaving a table right after we ordered.

This was my second visit, and it definitely lived up to the first. On my first stop, I had the ham and Swiss panini with a cookie butter latte. The sandwich was grilled perfectly, crispy on the outside, melty and satisfying inside, and the latte was absolutely delicious. I was honestly bummed to learn the cookie butter latte was seasonal because it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. This time around, I tried the breakfast panini and added ham, along with an iced sugar cookie latte (another seasonal drink that was so good). The food was pleasant and comforting, and once again, the drink really stole the show. Overall, Llamas Corner nails the combo of great atmosphere, thoughtful food, and creative drinks. There are two kiosks where you order. I got the french toast matcha latte which was ready quickly. The matcha wasn't the best quality or wasn't prepared properly, imo. It tasted very soapy and the french toast flavor wasn't very noticeable. I've definitely had much better matcha in Baltimore and wouldn't recommend Llamas' if you're particular about your matcha. Maybe their coffee is better? I also noticed a section on the menu labeled "gluten free" but the only option listed was a bag of chips. Would be nice to see some other offerings for GF folks.

They are located on the corner of S Wolfe St. and Fleet St. There is a cafe inside, "We offer a traditional Italian espresso menu along with premium tea, pastry, sandwiches, and other goodies inspired by the Mediterranean region. In the spirit of Italian cuisine, we use the purest ingredients we can find to celebrate their flavors. We want you to taste the rich dark chocolate in our mocha, the cream in our whole milk, the freshness of the tomato, basil, and mozzarella in our caprese sandwich, and so on. No added sugars, preservatives, or anything like that -- all for the best experience possible." I've tried the Iced Mocha and it's really good, perfectly described above. Made fresh, with simple and clean flavors, no fuss or filler. They also sell some cat toys and books about cats around the seating area before you get to the room with the kittles. Some of these book titles are hilarious! Affogatto was started in 2024 by Tony. He helps facilitates the cat interactions. To interact with the kit-cats you can make an appointment (25 minutes for $10) online: https://www.affogatto.com/ and I've been here a few times for the appointments and it's always such a chill time :) You can tell that the kit-cats are well cared for. They are living their best "cat mojo". Very active and are not afraid to chase after a cat toy. The area where you interact with the cats is very clean and tidy. There are places for the cats to scratch on scratchers, lay around in beds, wall mounted shelves and perches for them to climb along, a running water fountain for them to drink water, and a litter box. Each time I come here, there are new kit-cats and that warms my heart... because it means the previous kitties have been adopted to good homes :) I have 2 boy cats that I left at home with my parents when I moved, and I miss them a lot. Coming here is low key therapeutic for me as I get some furs time. The yummy, caffeinated beverage selection also helps :) If you have some time, stop by. Get a beverage, make an appointment to meet some cute kit-cats. You might even find yourself a fur-ever companion :D

I love the spacious vibrant design of this place, plenty of seating and standing area. I came for the donuts but stayed for the quality. I tried the Black Forest Vegan Donut, and it was soooooooooo delicious. Sometimes vegan pastries can be hit-or-miss with texture, but this one was spot on... rich, flavorful, and definitely a must-try. I wish they have a few more options for vegan donuts though. I had try Kings Hot Cocoa with Oatmilk, so happy they have non-dairy milk substitutions available. I love that they use housemade cocoa here. It's a more sophisticated version of hot chocolate, definitely more bitter than sweet, next time I will ask for chocolate sauce to be added to off balance the bitterness. It's rich and authentic, not that powdery artificial stuff you find at chains. I was surprised by their huge variety. Beyond the wall of donuts, they have a full breakfast menu, plus happy hour and drink specials. It seems like a great place to transition from a morning coffee to a late afternoon cocktail. They also have a rewards program, which is a no-brainer to sign up for if you live in the area with just your phone number. The staff was very nice and patient while I was deciding (it's hard to choose when everything looks so good!). The whole place is very well-kept and feels like a spot where they actually care about the details. The only slight hurdle is the parking situation. It's paid street parking, and it can be a bit of a challenge to find an open spot nearby.
