I've never been to a suit store before and it was pretty new to me but a younger gentleman named Ronnie instantly greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed help with anything. Ronnie helped me out and his service was superb from start to finish. He was quick, professional, and really knew what he was doing. They accidentally sent one of my friend's groomsmen's suits to another state, causing the everyone immense stress just a day before the wedding. On top of that they couldn't find the suit they had ordered for the father of the bride. He ended up getting double charged when they fixed that problem, and all together it really soured the days leading up to my friends' wedding day. The store associates did not seem especially friendly and no one said a word to us when we walked in on multiple occasions, nor were they very helpful or obliging. Very cold, if I'm being honest. The groom stopped by after friends and family began returning their suits and the employee that helped them refused to let the groom their suits for important rings (not the wedding rings, don't worry!) that were in one of the pockets with the reasoning of "it's already been boxed up". I know we aren't the center of the universe, but being understanding of others' situations seems like a basic customer service skill. Especially because it was very clear how visibly shaken up he was about the missing rings. It also wasn't a very busy day so I can only chalk it up to laziness and a lack of care. My brother had prom and so we Went to Chinatown first, but the place we checked out didn't offer rentals and the prices to buy were way too high. Decided to go to Men's Wearhouse instead and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and fast, and they made the whole process really easy. They had a lot of different styles and sizes to choose from, and everything was organized so we didn't feel rushed or confused. We were able to get fitted quickly and leave feeling confident with what we picked. Overall, definitely a much better experience and a great place for suit rentals. This was my first time here to rent a tux for my son's prom, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. There was no clear signage at the front regarding the QR code check-in, so I had no idea what to do at first. After figuring it out on my own, we were called to provide basic information and then told to wait until someone called our name for measurements. An hour passed, and no one had called us, yet I noticed people who arrived after us were being helped. My husband approached an employee for assistance, but instead of helping, he made an excuse and proceeded to assist others who had just arrived. It wasn't until I raised my voice that another employee finally stepped in to help us. When checking out, I asked the cashier some questions about the products, and he had no clue about anything in the store. A few days later, my son and I returned to pick up the tux. After scanning in, the waitlist showed that I was first in line, yet two people were called before me. When I questioned the saleswoman, she sarcastically responded, "Don't worry, we didn't forget about you. He is trying to find your tux." Instead of greeting me properly and informing me of the delay, I was met with unnecessary attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place due to the disorganization and poor customer service. I've never made a Yelp review before but the experience we had in the last 2 months deserves to be spoken on. I'm getting married tomorrow. My fiance and his groomsmen went in October to get fitted. At the beginning, the guy helping us was super helpful. He told us we were early, but they're usually able to get suits 3 days before the wedding. I told them in the beginning we were wanting tan suits with purple ties to match the wedding theme. The groomsmen went for a final fitting at the beginning of the month. One of our groomsmen is on the bigger side and needed a custom suit made. No big deal, we understand. We were still assured that it will be in on time. A week before the wedding we get notified that most of the suits are ready to be picked up. My fiance tries it on and they gave us hot pink ties. They charged him to change it to purple because it was considered a "late change" even though we said in the beginning we wanted purple. The week of the wedding, 2 groomsmen did not receive their suits yet. I called and verified if they were going to come in on time, and the lady said it would come in on Friday. I told her that was the day of the wedding, and she said "it should come in tomorrow, I checked the wrong shipping number." The day before the wedding the 2 groomsmen get notification the suits are ready. We pick it up, and we're missing a coat. We call the store again and they tracked it to Pennsylvania even though the wedding is in Hawaii. They told us their warehouse is in Burbank, how did it end up on the other end of the country?? Now our groomsmen have to pivot and all not wear coats to look uniform. They're giving a full refund for the one suit and hopefully partial refunds for the others since the coats will not be used which is nice, but I wish they would have not told us all these things and do another. If the measurements were sent in early, why did it take so long to be shipped out? read more

Extremely disappointing experience with Men's Wearhouse. We went in months in advance to get fitted for our suits and were repeatedly assured everything would be ready in time. Despite that, two of the groomsman's suits were not available for pickup until one day prior to the wedding, which already felt unreasonably late. To make matters worse, when we finally picked them up, we discovered that one of the groomsmen did not even have his coat. After calling, they say It was in a different state!!! This caused unnecessary panic and stress right before a wedding, something that should never happen when you plan ahead and trust a professional company. Throughout the entire process there was a serious lack of communication, no sense of urgency, and a clear lack of care for the importance of the event. No proactive updates, no accountability, and no genuine concern for the situation they created. I would not recommend Men's Wearhouse to anyone, especially for something as important and time-sensitive as a wedding. Planning ahead meant nothing here, and the experience was far from reliable or professional. read more

THE worst. Just an awful experience. 1. We waited 30 minutes after I scanned this necessary "QR" code and I was #1 in the queue! WTH? 2. The customer service- disappointment. They ignore you like they don't wanna be bothered with you. 3. My son's prom suit fit horribly!! He couldn't even lift his arms and the worker tells us at the dressing room that "unfortunately, there's really not much we do with the arms." Took her time and was actually pretty quick. Not to mention, she was helping multiple people. Unfortunately, we were told setting up a fitting would be our route. Note to self, don't get married around prom season. The amount of pre-pubescent teens shopping for prom wear, was ridiculous! It made getting fitted take so much longer than it had to. When me and my fiancée got to this store, there were only 4 customers. One couple, a guy being check out, and an older gentlemen walking around. No welcoming when we walked through the door, just stares from the workers. We book an appt and waited. One of the workers came out from the back and asked the older gentlemen if he was doing ok, then proceeded to ask the other couple how they were doing. Looked at us, and walked away. I looked around and I saw one lady actually working while 3 of them were standing near the cashier just laughing and talking. We left within 45 mins of waiting and not one person coming up to us. I was looking for a sport coat for an upcoming wedding. I went to Macy's, Nordstrom, Nordstrom rack, etc. I found a very limited selection, and wearing a size 48 jacket doesn't help. We walked into men's warehouse and was helped by Katy. She was so helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. They have a great selection of reasonably priced suits and jackets. I found at least 6 jackets that I liked and couldn't decide which one I liked better. With Katy's help we decided on one and after buying it was given a $25 off coupon for my next visit. Went to this place 2 days in a row. If its one thing i learn if you go there during prom season its better to have an appointment otherwise you'll wait forever. The first day was horrible experience waited for a long time and finally asked for our status aftee 1 1/2 hr waiting only to be told we still had 2 people ahead of us. After complaining the person suggested we make an appointment for another day so i made an appointment for the next day. Showed up 45 minutes prior to appointment and was called 10 minutes after i checked in despite there was sooo many people in this place. I explained its our first time to rent a tux for a prom. But i like it because they had packages that included everything. The lady was a lot nicer than the day before and really professional. I had lots of questions and she answered all of them. Thank you Mason for helping us find what we were looking for and making sure my son will look his best on graduation day! We came in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The store was packed with highschoolers being fitted for tuxedos and suits for upcoming prom. We were there to buy dress pants and shirt for my son to wear under his cap and gown for graduation in May. I didn't want to wait until last minute because my son is a big boy (6'3, 370lbs) and I usually have to have his clothes special ordered. I was thrilled when I was actually able to find a pair of dress pants his size in store. We did have to have them hemmed because they were a little too long but thankfully Mason was able to have that done for us! I recieved a text 2 weeks after our visit that the alterations were done. Mason was able to reccomend the perfect dress shirt, unfortunately it was available in store and had to be special ordered. No problem! Mason ordered the shirt and had it sent straight to our home at no extra charge! We recieved it even before the alterations were done! I am so pleased with the customer service, clothing quality, sizes, and selection and will continue to shop here for our future needs. read more

Actual nightmare experience that lasted 4 hours. We didn't even go to buy anything, just get fitted for a suit rental for a friend's wedding. Had to wait an hour just to talk to someone and check in. Then watched as staffers came and went disappearing into the back and never coming back. When we finally got part way through the fitting the person helping us left and was replaced by the most unpleasant member of the staff. We waited another hour to pay while watching other people check out but eventually we had to leave. After we left they called us to remind us that "if there is no payment there will be no rental" which was hard to hear after we waited to pay for what felt like forever. Me and my fiance came here one day after a bad experience at a "popular" wedding attire shop. After taking the time to read prior Yelpers' input, I called to make an appointment for my fiance to try on some tuxedos at Men's Wearhouse as some were upset about the crazy walk-in wait times. I looked on their website to schedule an appointment but wasn't satisfied with the appointments available (4PM and later) as we live on the west side and hate driving in rush hour traffic. I called and spoke to Carissa and she was able to book us for a 1:30PM appointment. She was kind and helpful over the phone and even in person at our appointment. Luckily, I scheduled an appointment on a Tuesday and during summer break so the store wasn't insanely busy - I suggest you do the same. I honestly wasn't expecting much because of how horrible of an experience we had at the prior wedding attire shop, but Taedra changed our minds completely. My fiance, bless his heart, only knew that he wanted a cream tux with green accents and wanted to stand out from his groomsmen. Taedra took the reins and guided him on the colors of the tie, shoes, cuff links, buttons, vest, shirt, EVERYTHING! It was an absolute dream for a stressed out bride like myself with months left before the big day. Another HUGE plus was how our groomsmen only need to come in to get measured and fitted for their tux and don't have to fuss with the colors or styles as everything was set at this appointment - they'll look uniform, clean and put together. In addition, we chose the rented option so no wasted closet space and we're saving a ton of money this way. Taedra never rushed or pressured us and genuinely wanted to know about us and our wedding theme/colors. We felt comfortable and well taken cared of. She had an eye for what worked best for our colors and wedding season - she's amazing at what she does! I can't thank Taedra and Carissa enough for making such a stressful event, a positively memorable and fun one! I look forward to and am excited to revisit Men's Wearhouse when my fiance gets measured and picks up his tuxedo :) read more

I usually go to Men's Wearhouse because of the customer service. But maybe they only train on customer service in Los Angeles. I took my nephew to get his first jacket or suit. He asked a salesman to measure him, and he did. But usually the salespeople here follow through. Instead, we were just pointed in the general direction, and the salesman went off to stand around -- and eventually started helping an older gentleman who came in after is. After about 30 minutes of digging through sports coats, a female sales associate who was busy at the register came out to help us and gave us the customer service that is supposed to be what makes this store a good place to go. You want another pair of eyes. Was it that we were wearing shorts and flipflops? Maybe? But young customers are also your future customers -- and it was pretty sad for my nephew and me to be dismissed in this way. We still ended up choosing a nice look jacket and shirt. But really? EXCELLENT customer service by Marisa, Karissa, and Taydra. We came in the evening during busy prom season. The store was full and continue to stay busy during our visit. We stayed a little under 2 hours because we have an indecisive teenage son. They were patient, accommodating and attentive to details we would have missed. We left happy with our purchase. Great selection of items. We took advantage of their prom package since it is likely he will use it again. There were also many rental options. The service made the trip worthwhile! read more

I've never been to Men's Wearhouse anywhere but I'm glad I read some of the positive reviews. I needed an affordable blazer or sport coat quickly and this seemed like a great option. I was greeted by a guy at the registers then Sky came to help me. I really appreciated his approach, very professional, but he made me comfortable too. In a short time we found a jacket, and some ties, and I was out the door. It was a memorable experience, though, because he was just friendly and attentive to my needs. We talked story a little and I got a great deal on my jacket. It's not finer materials, but it seems like it's made well and, most importantly, it fit very well. I'll just need to adjust the sleeves and unfortunately they're too busy to do it in my short timeframe. I don't need formal clothing often, but when I do this will be my first stop and I will ask for Sky again. read more

Came here on February 6th to get a tux rental for my son's first prom. As expected, it was very busy considering it is prom season. Didn't get greeted, but wasn't bothered by that, we just patiently waited for his turn. He got fitted by an Asian gentleman who was very nice but also we felt very rushed. When all was said and done, he told me ok tux should be here 2 days (March 27) before his prom but since it ships from the mainland you should get it earlier than that. Fast forward to March 25, my son comes to me and says that his friends all got their tuxes already and had rented with men's wearhouse. So I decided to call that night. Someone answered and said that they didn't get it yet, and I should wait for an email. So I said ok, since the tux wasn't suppose to be here until Wednesday anyway. Wednesday the 27th comes around, and still nothing so I call around opening. Someone answered and said ok let me look, I was placed on hold for around 8 minutes and then they hung up on me. I tried calling back at least 8x after and no one answered. I called again around 3pm and finally got someone on the phone and she said sorry there was a delay with Fed ex, but your tux is en route and will be here tomorrow (Thursday) . I decided to call main customer service for men's wearhouse to chat about my experience. What he had told me after looking up my order got me so heated. He told me that the store hadn't sent my order through until I called the day before and had it overnighted to Hawaii. He said my order wasn't committed until the day before. So the whole fedex delay was a lie on the stores part. I was so annoyed but at the same time he needed a tux for prom the next day and I had no other options. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I had told everyone I know about this experience. Second year to pick out rental for prom for my son. I can see why the reviews either 1 star or 5 stars. They need a usable check-in system that is followed by staff. We made an appointment both years and there is no option to sign in for appointments when u get there. So you have to flag a salesperson down to let them know you ha e an appointment. In addition, some salespeople don't use the check-in cue and just help anybody who looks like they need help. Very chaotic and unfair. Im sure 80% of the time they dont need to setup a better process, but during prom season, please. One star for check-in process. That being said, they get 5 stars for customer service once you do get a sales person. Last year the gentleman helping us very helpful and professional. This year Riley, who we were working with first in retail, helped us in rentals. She was very helpful and professional also. Just fix your check-in process and you will get all 5 stars!!! read more
