First off I'll say this- I had a very bad experience the first time I went to this location to purchase suit attire for my wedding back in February of 2022. The worst experience- as far as customer service. I've never had an employee jump outta character and yell at a customer for a customer complaining about "our service" and trying to inform them at the end of the day regardless customers are right. Keep your personal opinion to that to yourself. The worker yelled, curse and everything else. Then said that she was dealing with a lot as to why she acted the way she did. A memorable event that I looked forwarded to with my husband was not what we got leaving the store that day. Fast forward to a whole year later I decided to give them another try because first off I didn't wanna drive any further since my husband and I stay in Denton. But I wish we would have after experiencing another bad customer service experience. First off I want to say the initial lady that help us when my husband and I came in over the weekend to purchase another suit for a wedding we are attending out of state next month. She helped and did a fantastic job with picking best, shirt & tie. She also helped with ordering the suit pants and guaranteed us they would be in before September 7. The pants arrive within 2 business days. We went to pick up/try on pants at the location yesterday. Everything was going well until my husband and I went to take a sit while the nice lady hemmed his pants. They was an employee name Tom who was assisting another customer who came into the store. Tom stepped away to go to the back and when he came back, he rush/brushed passed my husband feet while we were sitting and didn't say excuse me or anything. My husband looked at me like " am I tripping or did you notice that as well." I told him don't say anything let's see if he does it again. The customer that Tom was assisting his gf/wife was standing up and Tom needed to pass her but this time instead of just rushing/brushing/stepping pass her he politely said "excuse me ma'am do you mind if I pass you". I was automatically annoyed because why couldn't my husband get the same common courtesy. So, Tom had to cross my husband for a second time and do you think for a second Tom said excuse me?? No. So my husband approaches Tom and tells him "when you see someone you should say excuse me". Tim response was " I didn't see you". That immediately offended my husband because how couldn't you see him but you bumped right into him. Instead of him apologizing, Tom proceeds to say "I think you have an issue". Never again will the Denton Mens Warehouse location get a dime of my money. About 2 months back we went to the Lewisville location because we were in the area and we were needing some dress attire for a cruise we have in September as well. The staff there were extremely attentive l, as soon as we stepped foot in the door they great us. Any questions we had they were of assistance to us. They made us feel welcome and valued as a customer the whole time we were there. The staff even told us to stop by after our cruise because they would love to see pictures of how the attire they assisted with came out in pictures . Overall service for them was a 10/10. The Lewisville location would have our service any day. read more

I received good service my first visit. But when I decided to go back to return an item I'd purchased I was asked "can I help you". I responded with "uh I'm here to return an item" and another men's Wearhouse employee decided to mock me. The employee said "this boy said uhhh" in a rude tone. I haven't bought a suit in a long time so I needed some help being point in the right direction and with measurements. Reid was extremely helpful and worked with me the entire time I was there, which ended up being a little over an hour. I was even there 5-10 minutes after they close since I ended up getting a deal I hadn't planned on. He wasn't upset or frustrated at all. He got me a great deal on the suit bundled with shirts and ties, which I really needed. Would definitely recommend coming here and asking for him. read more

My husband and I came in to the Denton, TX store to purchase a new suit and other accessories for him for a job interview. Ciarra Kendall, assistant manager, came up to us right away and was so amazing. She helped us get the perfect outfit for him, was never pushy and showed expertise in sizing and menswear. She had a GREAT eye and was beyond professional and pleasant to myself and my husband. We wound up buying a suit, 4 shirts, 3 ties and a belt and couldn't be happier. Thank you Ciarra for all your help! P.s. she also was able to multi-task between us, answering the phone and even welcoming other customers in without making us feel left behind or mismanaged. I purchased a Joseph Abboud suit and overall was misled about my sizing and fit. This suit was to be used at a wedding. Unfortunately they refused to acknowledge the issue despite me asking on two separate occasions, due to it looking funny when trying it on, to ensure it was the proper fit before ordering the suit and then tailoring the pants. I trusted their "Professional" opinion. I spent $50 tailoring the pants (which still look funny. I went looking for suits at Nordstrom for the wedding I would be attending and the tailor there immediately pointed out the suit I had bought from Mens Wearhouse was not the correct size. Shoulders were NOT even close, sleeve length was too long, jacket length was a hair bit long, and waist was a bit too small. Comparing the proper size and cut suit from Hickey Freeman at Nordstrom versus the Joseph Abboud revealed all the issues with the fit. I went to ask Mens Wearhouse what they could do about the suit jacket which their response was a very cold: nothing. Pants were altered, so no returns or exchanges could be done. The jacket was completely new with tags and with all vents, and pockets still sealed only worn 3 times to check for fit at MW's and at Nordstrom. They've lost my future business, and I will not be recommending Mens Wearhouse to the groomsmen and groom. If you need a cheap suit, were price is priority. I'd say go to Macy's you will save half of what Mens Wearhouse will sell their Chinese glued suits for. If you need a good quality excellent fitting suit, go elsewhere like SuitSupply, Nordstrom, Brook Brothers, J Crew etc. They at least won't sell you shit that doesn't fit, then not honor their guarantees and take back their advice. Mens Wearhouse simply is NOT a place to buy a suit unless you want to look like a clown. read more

I honestly wish no stars was an option. Where do I start? No one there knows how to measure. None of the tuxes fit. Sleeves too short pants too tight pocket Squares that were a diff shade than ties they are awful! If you insist on using this pathetic business just be sure your men try these suits on before they leave store. I can promise you pants will be too tight too longs sleeves will be too short they will put regular on someone who needs long. This place is a mess! read more

As I am standing inside this business, not by choice, but was the option for a wedding party selection...I am typing this review!! Horrible customer service for the second time by the same manager . Thin Bearded man with a major attitude. CLEARLY this man does not like his job! The girl training with him is also learning his bad customer skills! Nobody even says hello when you walk in! Then finally he helps me and tells me they have to be hemmed!!! As I already told him the length needed on my initial!!! NEVER will I come to this store again...once the pants are hemmed, of course. When you walk into a business, the least expectation is to be acknowledged...how hard is it to say "hello" and "I'll be right with you"??? Why is this rude behavior allowed as a manager?? Do not rent pants or a suit from them! I had to get pants for a Saturday wedding and didn't realize i had to return them on Sunday or it was a $20 extra charge(of course they are only open 11- 6). Three out of the 4 groomsmen had at least 1 hole in their pants pockets and unfortunately i wasn't one of them or i would have demanded a refund! Total was $80 to "rent" when i could have easily bought new for cheaper and better quality. read more

Brought my fiancé in recently to nail down his and his groomsmen attire. I have to say that I was blown away by the amazing customer service given by Hunter. It seemed like he knew exactly what we were looking for and always had great suggestions and answers to all of our questions. I am writing in behalf of my boyfriend. Today we had the WORST customer service from a manager and it was just down right despicable. First of all, my boyfriend is someone who has trouble sizing himself with clothing and asked one of their unknowledgeable associates about how to size a clothing item right. Looking at the other reviews, these employees don't know shit about sizing. My boyfriend ended up getting this item and a couple days later wanted to return it due to it being TOO BIG. Second, the employee he talked to about the item when returning it said she had no clue about men's attire in a MEN's Wearhouse. Though she was nice, she was obviously clueless. Next, she tried three times to get the manager to help us and he just wouldn't. The manager FINALLY walked over to complete the return and he was the worst part of it all. He looked my boyfriend in the eye and said "so you obviously wore this belt and I GET TO DECIDE IF I WANNA RETURN IT OR NOT" my boyfriend replied saying the employee he bought it from stated that the return policy was only if it was passed the 90 days. It had only been a couple! So then the guy said "Well yeah, but like we expect you not to wear it". Like are you joking? He then proceeded to explain how my boyfriend was at fault for trying to return an item that the sales associate said would fit him. Needless to say, we will never be coming back to this store ever again. The manager on duty was not professional from the inside out and his employees were obviously not fit for this job. He was disrespectful and left my boyfriend feeling bad about the return situation. If you are reading this and thinking "what's the big deal" the big deal is that the manager of a "luxury" store was incredibly rude to customers and also clearly didn't train his employees. I took my son to get a suit for a corporate job. The wardrobe consultant, Reid Barrett, did an excellent job asking the right questions to ensure we chose the right suit. He put everything together from the suit, shirt, tie, shoes, belt, etc. The next day my son received an email that the appropriate attire for this interview would be khakis and a button down shirt, and he thought the suit was overkill (It was a nice $600 suit and with all the accessories our bill was over $1,000). I took everything back the next week and let them know what happened. At first the assistant store manager said they could return everything except the suit since it had been altered. I said I was told there would be fabric left, and their policy was we could come back for alterations as many times as needed (to let out or take in). He then said the return of an altered item was at the discretion of store management and he was management. I explained that this suit was never worn, and in fact when we picked up the suit, we were supposed to get the pressed shirt we purchased, and that was never given to us (it was still at the store). I asked to speak to the store manager, and was told he was out, so I asked that he call me. The store manager, Damon Moore, called me promptly and said he would take care of everything if I wanted to come to the store and ask for him. He allowed me to return the suit for a full refund. If I had not persisted to speak to the store manager, my review of the assistant manager would have been a 1-2 star. Both Reid and Damon were very professional and customer focused. I give both these men 5 stars, and my 4 star rating factors in my experience with the assistant store manager. read more

My dad took me here over two years ago to get my first suit, good ties, etc after I graduated college. The service and guidance was impeccable. I went again on my own later to purchase a good winter coat. Again, impeccable service. I went on my own this year to get some new ties and a tie bar to replace/add to my collection and the service was impeccable then. I came in tonight because the tie bar I bought broke while at work. They didn't need a receipt and were able to quickly find my transaction in their computer via my phone number. Showed them the broken tie bar and I was free to choose another one, no questions asked, and was assured that such an approach would continue if the next one broke, etc. They even refunded the difference in price from what I chose. I didn't have to fight for anything. These people are professional and will meet your needs in every way they can. They make this part of life easy and pleasant. I will continue to do business at this location and probably other locations as long as they continue their excellent service. read more
