She did not want to help me, and asked me to re-join the line of 40 people lol. I was so mad, because I had already waited in line for 25 minutes. I should've asked to speak to a manager but I had to leave. I think this could've been handled differently

I simply said ok but I knew that wasn't true. I figured I would leave a review and see if anyone from management would respond to confirm or deny. I had just pulled out of the parking lot and I received a phone call from management saying the girl made a mistake and I my merchandise is refundable. Because I had put two items back, once I was told I couldn't possibly return, I went to pick those items back up. The manager was very kind about it and offered me an additional discount for my inconvenience. Bella the lady at the register, hid behind the clothes instead of coming out to apologize for outright lying to our faces. The manager apologized for her which I thought was juvenile. You were so confident that I don't get to return if I get the military discount. Now you're hiding instead of ladying up and saying my apologies, that was a mistake. My daughter thought it was a bit racist (Bella's behavior that is) she's convinced that would not have been told to a white woman. Smh

Honestly, I'm not known to write a negative review for any business but I feel it's necessary due to the horrible customer service I experienced this evening. I was shopping for a pair of earrings with plenty of time before closing and a representative named Taylor and her co-worker stated the store was closing instead of offering assistance with plenty of time to spare. Taylor proceeded to scurry over to a distant register and proceeded to yell across the store from one department to another department wanting to ring out my one single item I was purchasing. I truly could not believe my ears. I have a time stamped receipt to show I was not past closing time. I have never seen such awful behavior from anyone in the service industry. Both of these employees were extremely rude, immature and unprofessional. Their demeanor and 'mean girl' attitude was ridiculous and absolutely not necessary. I must say, I'm also in the service industry and being a business owner in Denton, I completely understand employees are difficult to find. However, employees such as Taylor and her associate are detrimental to a business and would not last long at my company. I know many employees at this particular store and they all know I'm a pleasant and easy to please customer and if this were my business I would want to know if any of my employees were disrespectful in any way. I'm hoping to make Dillard's aware of this issue so it will help other customers in the future to come to avoid further damage to this iconic department store. Kristi D.

If you like vintage shopping THIS is the store for you!…read more Les Muses Vintage is located in the heart of Denton, TX just across from Denton Square between W Oak and N Elm. This amazing store specializes in true vintage ranging from 1940's fashion to 1980's. At the front of the store is where you'll find some of their older pieces, however if you are looking for something "newer" they have a nice selection of 80s Levis and other leather jackets towards the back of the store. I usually don't like to shop at vintage stores because I don't have the patience for it, but this store was so uniquely curated and everything was placed in an order that didn't feel overwhelming. My friend and I were able to find some very unique piece and during the process fell in love with the staff working there. Besides clothing, they also have a lot of vintage accessories as well as home decor. Last but definitely not least, they have an amazing selection of cowboy boots for men. I can't wait to bring back my husband and get him a new pair of boots at this store!

You know, I feel like I rarely step into a vintage shop and think "wow this stuff is actually vintage, cool, and in quality condition" -- but Les Muses is everything you dream of a vintage boutique being. And the prices are fantastic on top of it all. There's clothing and accessories and trinkets and more, from 1920s-era tailor-made, beaded flapper/cloche hats to colorful 1970s-era peasant blouses. There's tons of mannequins brilliantly styled in incredible pieces. A fabulous collection of vintage wedding gowns. Fur coats. Negligées. Stunning hats and scarves and shoes. I discovered a gorgeous deep purple shoulder bag/purse from the 60s while Jon found a 1970s-era button up with tiny rainbow colored pinstripes. We're both really excited about our new pieces! I feel I'd need a special occasion lined up to justify buying most of the dresses and hats I admired, at least until I'm ready (and wealthy enough) to exclusively dress in vintage pieces. In the meantime I'm happy with purchasing a single treasure every now and again. The woman working during our visit was lovely and kind and I could tell she enjoys her work and this beautiful shop. I'll return one day with more time to peruse!

This review is being written during Covid 2020 so I will add that masks are being required to enter and that all employees are wearing them too which is great! I have only been able to find a few pieces from here that I can wear (a dress, hoodie, and shoes). I have curves and the sizes really don't do me justice. When I first started shopping here, I could fit size L items. After losing weight, I couldn't get into the size L items. It seems like the sizing of clothing that comes in is getting smaller. There aren't XL sizes offered and barely a plus size section if any at all anymore. Customer service from the Assistant Managers is great! I was so impressed when I came in two weeks ago to make a return that the employee asked me if I wanted to try on the navy blue dress for this wedding I was planning to attend. She knew I had been waiting for their fall collection to launch so I could try it on and she was just as excited as I was! Every time I would visit, she would ask questions and be very engaging which is not the case for the owner. I had one encounter with the owner and I felt she was very stand-off ish and didn't offer great customer service which made me not want to come back. In addition to their lack of sizing for various body types, they need to promote diversity. I mentioned that I would happily model for their social media page (which features no people of colour) if there were clothes I could fit and she told I could share a post for a feature. Interestingly enough, there are more boutiques that celebrate everyone that I will happily shop at.
