I was shopping for a pair of earrings with plenty of time before closing and a representative named Taylor and her co-worker stated the store was closing instead of offering assistance with plenty of time to spare. Taylor proceeded to scurry over to a distant register and proceeded to yell across the store from one department to another department wanting to ring out my one single item I was purchasing. I truly could not believe my ears. I have a time stamped receipt to show I was not past closing time. I have never seen such awful behavior from anyone in the service industry. Both of these employees were extremely rude, immature and unprofessional. Their demeanor and 'mean girl' attitude was ridiculous and absolutely not necessary. I must say, I'm also in the service industry and being a business owner in Denton, I completely understand employees are difficult to find. However, employees such as Taylor and her associate are detrimental to a business and would not last long at my company. I know many employees at this particular store and they all know I'm a pleasant and easy to please customer and if this were my business I would want to know if any of my employees were disrespectful in any way. If you like vintage shopping THIS is the store for you!…read more Les Muses Vintage is located in the heart of Denton, TX just across from Denton Square between W Oak and N Elm. This amazing store specializes in true vintage ranging from 1940's fashion to 1980's. At the front of the store is where you'll find some of their older pieces, however if you are looking for something "newer" they have a nice selection of 80s Levis and other leather jackets towards the back of the store. I usually don't like to shop at vintage stores because I don't have the patience for it, but this store was so uniquely curated and everything was placed in an order that didn't feel overwhelming. My friend and I were able to find some very unique piece and during the process fell in love with the staff working there. Besides clothing, they also have a lot of vintage accessories as well as home decor. Last but definitely not least, they have an amazing selection of cowboy boots for men. I have only been able to find a few pieces from here that I can wear (a dress, hoodie, and shoes). I have curves and the sizes really don't do me justice. When I first started shopping here, I could fit size L items. After losing weight, I couldn't get into the size L items. It seems like the sizing of clothing that comes in is getting smaller. There aren't XL sizes offered and barely a plus size section if any at all anymore. Customer service from the Assistant Managers is great! I was so impressed when I came in two weeks ago to make a return that the employee asked me if I wanted to try on the navy blue dress for this wedding I was planning to attend. She knew I had been waiting for their fall collection to launch so I could try it on and she was just as excited as I was! Every time I would visit, she would ask questions and be very engaging which is not the case for the owner. I had one encounter with the owner and I felt she was very stand-off ish and didn't offer great customer service which made me not want to come back. In addition to their lack of sizing for various body types, they need to promote diversity. I mentioned that I would happily model for their social media page (which features no people of colour) if there were clothes I could fit and she told I could share a post for a feature. Interestingly enough, there are more boutiques that celebrate everyone that I will happily shop at.

After shopping around Denton and experiencing amazing customer service everywhere else, this boutique was a shock to the system. The staff was kind of rude and not helpful at all. It seemed like they were more bothered about your questions, than anything else. However, reading other reviews suggests this is an ongoing problem at this store.
