Don't bother shopping here. Or rather only buy here if you have lots of time and NEVER order online and ship to store. I ordered on 4/8. Never received an email with order status and I decided to stop in store to see if they had my purchase. I was told the order was canceled (definitely not by me) and I "should get a refund". Retail attendant immediately approached us asking to borrow one of my children (age 5) because she was the perfect size to crawl under and unlock a dressing room door that someone locked. (Maybe they don't have keys?--didn't think to ask we allowed her to assist with our supervision) annoyed after the fact lol Then at checkout. We purchased a purse and some underwear, we were not allowed to have a bag!!! A paper sack!! They made us take the underwear out in the purse that we purchased!!! How weird!! My husband wears lots of Duluth items. Mostly polos and over the calf socks and boots and of course the boxers, backpack, etc. All of these items wash and wear so well. He's had some items for 3-4 years. However, He was very disappointed when he learned that you no longer made the long length bull pen ball room boxers. It's hard to find anything even close to the comfort and security he felt wearing those. Please reconsider making them and help my old guy out. We love Duluth!! read more

Bought my husband a $50.00 pair of work gloves a little over a year ago for Christmas and they completely fell apart not from wear just very poorly made-defective (picture attached). The Velcro fastener broke/torn up and the knuckle pads peeled off. Returned the gloves to the store and was told there was no warranty because it was over a year. Duluth is nothing but over priced crap. The employee tried to have me buy a $120 pair. Never going back. Unfortunately, they don't stand behind their return policy for defective items. My husband has to buy these pants for work. they cost $80-100 and they are the "firehose" super strength blah blah. claim that they are superior quality and the cost is because they last a long time. if that is the case why are we buying 3-4 pairs a year!? My husband is a heavy haul truck driver. he has to set up large trailers and buildings. that means on the dirt and concrete setting up cinder blocks and moving things. these pants do not withstand REAL HARD PHYSICAL LABOR WITH FRICTION ON THEM. if you just wear them for basic construction or landscaping they probably work just as well as tough denim. there is nothing superior about them. recently went in looking for ladies overalls for gardening. they had a selection for $98.79 a pair! and they werent even denim! they were thin (could see through when holding to light in store) how are $100 thin working overalls going to hold up when im gardening on my knees? not very well i will say. they do sell extra knee pads if you want to pay $20-30 MORE. i mean the clothes actually cost the company .15-30¢ a piece. how companies come up with these upcharges is astounding. the employees are nice. most of them. but when i asked a girl if they are even paid adequately enough to shop at their place of employment she told me a very direct "No we are not actually! and we have to wear the clothes for work but we have to buy them ourselves!" not a company i enjoy supporting. but my husband wears the pants for work. every single thing is grossly over priced. the basic outdoor shoe cost $200-300! *faints* read more

Another first for me today, actually going into a Duluth Trading Company. I have shopped their catalog for a long time, but coming into the store created a whole new experience for me. If you know Duluth Trading Company, you know their main thing is clothing and outdoor gear wear. It was nice today to be able to actually try some on some of clothing for fit before purchasing, a luxury that catalog shopping does not afford you. I was also able to take a closer look at some of the pocket knives, which was nice too because pictures online just do not always give you the full perspective. I also liked seeing some of the smaller items they carry like soaps, hand creams, fire starters, etc. I found their dry hand products to be exceptional which is nice because in the winter months I always have trouble with dry hands. I wish their store was closer to me, but oh well, I am in Denton pretty regularly, so I can make this happen! read more

What an interesting store! My husband brought me here a couple of months back, telling me he found a cool spot I had to see. Upon entering, you are greeted by a classic green truck in mint condition. One of the employees told me it had the original interior and I was amazed at its condition. It definitely makes an impression to a first time customer! My husband had mentioned they had a good selection of big and tall outdoor clothing (which can be difficult to find) and longtail shirts (which solves his biggest pet peeve) that he wanted to take a closer look at. I wasn't fooled, I knew this was a ploy. For my husband to get excited about a store, they must have a state of the art camping section. Yep, I was right! Camping, fishing, knives- all the things that draw my husband in, all in one spot! My first impression of this place was that they were expensive. However, I could tell these weren't overpriced items, they carry high end brands of quality that will last. At checkout I realized they stand behind their products because they have an outstanding anytime return policy. Also, they make it easy for you to do so! They offer to start a profile for you which will store your receipts so you don't have to keep track of them. That's very customer focused, I like it!! This store has a huge selection of outdoor wear for camping, hiking, fishing, working and all sorts of weather. I saw some really nifty cargo pants and the tank tops looked well made and comfortable. They did indeed have longtail shifts everywhere and some very heavy duty jackets. I also saw a wide selection of shoes including some really rugged ones that both my husband and dad would love! The tool storage selection was amazing, you can find anything for any personality or need, I couldn't stop checking them out! These are some really well made products, I like being in the presence of quality! It's so much more than that though. I loved that they had a backseat pet hammock on display- dog hair is my biggest problem in my car! They actually had a wide selection of pet products and nifty gadgets and tools! They also had books on everything from tying a knot, to survival, to trades to history! Besides the clothing, I was most captivated by their recreation options and really the organizational products. I'm a sucker for an interesting trunk or seat organizer, lol! The accessories were great, I really loved the variety of leather bags, totes, purses, etc. They guarantee the leather items for life! I saw a wallet that I absolutely loved... for $100. With the guarantee, that can actually be worth it. However, I just wasn't ready to commit to one wallet for the rest of my life. I mean, we just met, it was my first time here and I just couldn't rush into a relationship before I was ready to stop looking at other wallets... sorry, back to the review... I did find some cheaper items and good deals in the gadgets and books. We actually picked up a book and multi-tool for a very reasonable price. Still, it's not necessarily a place I can stop in and splurge on a whim. Again, I think the clothing, shoes and storage are all high quality items that are worth the price. For me, this place is one for checking out the perfect product to invest in for a long term need, possibly saving up for it or at least waiting until payday, and then committing to that purchase. Well worth it for work gear, tools and longtime hobbies when you know you will continually use the products. Later I discovered their website that advertises ongoing and upcoming sales- now we are talking! I even saw one for 30% off a $100+ purchase! That is what took this from 4 to 5 stars for me, the opportunity to save money on these products. This is especially great since so many of these items would make great gifts for my family. With the selection, customer-centric return policy and sales, this place has potential to turn into an addiction! I recommend stopping in and checking this place out, even if you are just browsing. After all our previous visits to this store, our recent visit was a complete disappointment. First off, they had little to no sweaters for men. In the cold weather months, seriously? Additionally, they had very few of the soaps they make in stock. Very disappointing. When we got home, we ended up placing an online order for the soaps. One final complaint is too many people run around the store without a mask on. In a global pandemic, some folks don't even bother to protect them selves and others? Deeply irritated. read more

I'll pay $90 for a good jacket but decided buck naked under wear is a little much for $16 a pair lol. But that's just me, if it was a little cheaper maybe. But the beard oil I got is Fur Tree smell so now i smell like a forest in the Fast Moving City of Dallas Texas where the only time you can see a fur is around Christmas Time. I started shopping here for my sons work clothes and have not had any problems with anything we have purchased. I bought some base layers for myself and jeans for my son and fire hose slim 5 pockets pants for another family member and warm merino socks. So far we have all been happy with our purchases. I had even placed an online order only to find out I ordered the wrong sizes. Since my husband wanted to go to the physical store in Denton I brought the items with me. They took care of everything. Part of my purchase they had at the store and the other had to be re-ordered online which they did for me. No problems what-so-ever and I was glad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and as well stocked as it can be considering the times we are in right now. I will be going back. read more

I recently purchased a large number of clothes from your Denton tx location. Sizing was borderline for the large size, I told an employee that I was not comfortable purchasing all of those items without being a hundred percent positive it was the right fit. Your employee informed me it was ok and I had a year to return them if it was wrong, so I went ahead and purchased them. I wore them ONE time and it felt horrible! Granted it took me about 2 months maybe a little less to come back for the return as the store is an hour one way from my house, so it is a major ordeal to go there. Once I arrived a young lady who was less than pleasant dismissed herself and said she was getting a manager to handle it. Ten minutes later a "manager" showed up glanced at the clothes and flat out said and I Quote "too bad, I do not see a defect and the clothes left the store and appear to have been put on at least once so the guarantee does not apply". I relayed the conversation I had with the employee at the time of purchase, to which he responded "o well, you left with them so that's on you". After this, I asked to see the real manager because it was apparent he was not one, to which he became extremely rude and disrespectful as if the previous statements were not enough. Eventually, the manager impersonator relented and went and sent out the actual manager. The actual manager was more courteous at least but still failed to address the issue fully. Out of an over $500 purchase, he was only able to "find" a little over $100 worth of the purchase even though it was all done on the same transaction. He only agreed to swap a couple of shirts after demanding to know the conditions of my previous return, which was because my wife picked up 2x which were way too big, and those were returned with ALL of the tags still on and in the exact condition she picked them up in. anyways I relayed all of this to the actual manager and asked him to check the computer again because of the difficulty in getting there to which he said no to even a double-check, and that I would have to go through corporate to do what should have been an easy exchange given the fact that I wanted the same clothes but in the correct size. While I was scavenging the aisles looking for the right ones (I feel good customer service would have included them helping me find them, but I guess appropriate customer service went out the window much earlier in this interaction.) the manager left and on his way out told me the older lady would help me finish the exchange (he called her by name. not the older lady. I just do not remember what it was). When I went to check out she asked if the exchange was for a couple of shirts as opposed to the large stack to which I said "yes, unless you can double-check and find them on the computer" (as I still couldn't figure out how something purchased in the same transaction would not show up together). It was at this point she became VERY snippy and publicly scolded me for daring to ask them to check again when he told her no matter what to only exchange a couple of shirts (as if I were supposed to know about this conversation that took place while I was searching for my correct sizes). I will say that originally I was very impressed with the customer service I received at this store, which is why I was ok with the overpriced clothes, but after this encounter, I will probably NEVER shop at any Duluth store again. It feels as if Duluth has transitioned from an extremely high-end men's clothing store to a third-world bazaar where they are only interested in separating you from your money. read more

I visited the Duluth location in Denton to check out their fire hose pants out of curiosity. I thought they were pretty cool so I picked up a pair. They fit just like I like my pants to fit. But honestly after a few times of wearing them, they were a bit heavy. I went back and found the flex fire house pants, which are lighter in weight. I bought a pair and I LOVE em!!! So much that I bought another pair. I recently needed to get a pair of jeans- my current ones were getting old. I made another trip to Duluth and found a pair of the ballroom jeans. Let me tell you, they are my new favorite pair. Also, the buck naked underwear is super comfortable and feels like I'm not wearing any (pardon me if this is TMI). I will say this, the prices in the store are not the cheapest around, but the quality is well worth the $50+ per pair of pants/jeans. I will definitely buy my pants here from now on- maybe not as often than the big box retailers.....but that's not a bad thing. The whole staff is friendly and the store is laid out really nice. I would highly suggest Duluth products to anyone looking for great quality made clothes. read more

After chatting with a rep, they told me to call the Denton store to see if they had any in stock and see if they would ship it to me. I called and spoke with Vicki, who was amazing. Seriously, she was great! She found the hat, took all my information over the phone, and had it mailed to my house. I called on a Monday and it arrived on Wednesday. The package even had a nice, hand written note from Vicki. She provided amazing customer service, I can't express how lovely she was.
