My sister flew all the way from Germany wanting to take a piece of Texas back home with her, and we are so grateful we found this place. We were initially struggling to find boots that fit, but we were quickly approached by an incredible gentleman who turned our frustration into an education. He was so kind and passionate; he explained that for tall boots, it's about the calf fit, not just the sole size. He taught us how to read the codes inside the boots rather than just the size tag and personally helped us try them on and off with such patience. When we moved to the hats, he was just as helpful. He made sure we picked hats that wouldn't fly off while horseback riding and helped us color-match them perfectly to our new boots. He even steamed and customized the hats right there (the photo of him working his magic with the steam is a memory we'll cherish!) to ensure a perfect, firm fit. Beyond his expertise, he shared the wonderful 70-year history of his father's store. He made us feel so welcome and happy--it felt like talking to a great father figure. We didn't stop talking about his kindness all the way to the car. If you want top-notch customer service and an authentic Texas welcome, please go see him. He made our entire trip special!

I recently purchased a straw Stetson for summer but wanted another straw option with a wide brim. I chose a Mexican palm Charlie Horse. I love this brand and Lainey's collab with them. The price point on this brand is always very friendly and you can grab several for the price of other hats. Service was exceptional. Very very cute store with such an impressive selection. Poor customer service. Bought a relatively cheap felt hat for $175. Or at least they act like $175…read moreis super cheap. The hat was white and it arrived with a stain on the top and the white was as if it had been sprayed painted and I couldn't touch it without the white getting all over everything. Some transfer has been known to happen but this way crazy. The day it was received I sent a picture clearly showing the larger stained in the tip where the hat was discolored. Almost like a clear oil stain. Their response was literally well there is nothing we can do. Not hey we are sorry we can help get you a replacement. Not hey don't worry you can return the hat for zero shipping and we can t get a new hat ordered. Nope. For the price you can literally buy a hat if this quality online for 1/4 or less of price. Given their attitude, lack of service and poor price to quality I ended up just buying a hat with a competitor and I couldn't be happier.

One side of my brim is way more relaxed than the other side, the curve of the hay is off centered. From the back one side is significantly higher than the other side. Tried to take it in there to see if they could fix it and they didn't see anything wrong with it. Never buying from here again.
