I emigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand, where I gradually assimilated myself into the purest climate that I have ever seen. I had found my own Eden, an idyllic South Pacific former crown colony of England. I have already seen the best places in the world and believe me, the Province of Canterbury, in which the city is located. If you needed to outfit an apartment or home, you could probably find every single thing here. They also have clothing, which seems reasonably priced. You have to use the restroom to try on. We only dealt with the workers very briefly and they seemed fine. I'll check back every couple months, I don't think their items are turned over terribly quickly so you don't have to go multiple times a month.

My issue with this location was that I had brought in a box full of clothes (about 25% had never been worn) and almost all of it could not be "re-sold" because of wear. What? Maybe if I had the tags it would have made it easier to see that they had NEVER been worn. I can understand the other items if the color had been faded, but the new items? Anyway, the employee who handled everything was super unfriendly (this was last summer so I'm not sure if she's still there). When I was asked if I wanted to donate my items my first instinct was to say no because I felt like they would not be donated and just re-sold in the store anyway . I know it sounds like I'm full of my clothes here but that's the vibe I was getting from the employee. The good thing about this location is that they do have a ton of items and the owner seems like she's doing a really good job- I've been on their mailing list for awhile and they have good sales frequently

I thought okay $20-$25 they showed up late and then said they wanted $215 to pick it up and take it. As I said this is a DONATION to habitat for humanity. I refuse to pay them and they ended up taking the products out of their truck.

I simply said ok but I knew that wasn't true. I figured I would leave a review and see if anyone from management would respond to confirm or deny. I had just pulled out of the parking lot and I received a phone call from management saying the girl made a mistake and I my merchandise is refundable. Because I had put two items back, once I was told I couldn't possibly return, I went to pick those items back up. The manager was very kind about it and offered me an additional discount for my inconvenience. Bella the lady at the register, hid behind the clothes instead of coming out to apologize for outright lying to our faces. The manager apologized for her which I thought was juvenile. You were so confident that I don't get to return if I get the military discount. Now you're hiding instead of ladying up and saying my apologies, that was a mistake. My daughter thought it was a bit racist (Bella's behavior that is) she's convinced that would not have been told to a white woman. Smh

They called me back to pick them up and said they didn't want any of them. They were hung on hangers sorted and neat. They gave my items back to me, cramed in a bag, and they were so snotty about it. Part of the Jewelry was missing. So, apparently someone did like some of it. Before I took my items there, I looked around the store. I wasn't impressed with the quality of items I saw. I was shocked they didn't accept my much nicer items. It was all just so weird.
