Average prices considering its consignment. Wish they had bathrooms. Otherwise it's clean and very organized.

They do a wonderful job of keeping item's organized and merchandise that is in very good condition. I have done business with Just Like New since it started out closer to the square in the old Pinkertons Grocery store. The new owner and employees are helpful and stay very busy. They do require identification depending on how you pay and I appreciate that. Merchandise is always changing if you don't find what you're looking for check back they may have several the next time. read more

This place is amazing! For purchases, at least. I stumbled upon it while spending a night in Decatur and was shocked! The store is consignment, so things aren't cheap, but the prices are still really good. The store is shock full of stuff, but what surprised me was the amount of designer and high end items in he store, there were numerous a Coach purses and other Coach items, along with many other fancy designer things. Behind the counter are shelves of the best goodies, including designer purses and bags, designer shoes, and other fancy things. I saw 4 beautiful glasses from Tiffany's that had the blue box. And even better, items that have been there for a long time go on sale for up to 50% off. I ended up with a gorgeous brown leather pair of Cole Haan shoes and an even better pair of Manolo Blahniks!!!! Both were discounted and I got phenomenal prices for both. Anyone who ever passes through this town should absolutely stop here! You won't be disappointed!!! read more

I make it a point to support local. This local shop has received three large purchases from me this year of handbags alone. I went to purchase a gift certificate for my daughter for Christmas. The service is always prompt, however friendliness is rarely granted. I digress. The gift certificate I purchased was for $100. Took my money, handed me a gift certificate. Transaction completed. When wrapping the gift I noticed it had to be used within 60 days. I remembered to tell my daughter on Christmas that they had a 60 day term listed on the gift certificate. She promptly went to redeem her certificate. She was able to find great items went to checkout and was told she needed to find some more stuff as the gift certificate had to be used in full. Never was this communicated to me at the time of purchase nor was it mentioned on the certificate as the 60 day term. If your systems cannot handle the utilization of a gift card, maybe you should not attempt to offer them with such archiac terms. Too, it may serve you better to take a quick rediscovery of how best to treat your customers. read more

This location is worth a stop, although it seems a bit overpriced. The higher than average pricing seems particularly true of the accessories. You can still find deals, but be prepared to do some digging. The clothing seemed to offer the most incentive for my efforts with the pricing. One thing I found kind of odd here was how aggressive they seem to be with their theft deterrents. It almost made me feel a little distracted or uneasy, with the logging each item by hand, signs everywhere, detectors, and other various steps to thwart shoplifting - all of which are understandable, but it definitely doesn't add a feeling of welcome, quite the opposite. They certainly aren't giving you the benefit of the doubt. The most irritating part of their anti-theft system they have in place is the location of those damn sensors! It was really hard for me to try on clothes because they position the sensor directly under the armpit. A couple of things I couldn't properly try on because it was too painful with the sensor against my rib cage to even lower my arm. A horrible spot to put one of those things. All in all, it's a fun store with a ton of variety, especially for a fairly small demographic. The sizes are very well organized which really helps a lot. I spent a good couple hours in there at least. read more

I have gone in several times. It is a lovely, open atmosphere. The plastic bags they use are usually recycled Wal-Mart bags (or from elsewhere) and they try to be as environmentally sound as possible. It is more on the expensive side, but it is nicer than Goodwill, and they don't just accept anything. The items they accept are barely used and higher-end so it makes you feel like you are shopping brand new, while saving a few bucks and making more conscious, environmental purchases. The store is also VERY clean. Like a boutique! They play Christian music in the store, and the environment is very friendly, even though the outside of the store looks a little sketchy lol. Love the selection and the employees were very friendly - the other reviews almost discouraged me, but I can totally understand why there isn't room for strollers, the store is FULL of great stuff. I've always grown up going to this store since my mom would give her things away when she cleaned out. When something was bought she got a sum of money from it which I thought was very cool. Now I go there as an adult and love finding little treasures! The inside of the store is very cute and clean. Overall I love going there! read more

I enjoy visiting this store. I seriously considered taking some items but when I asked about the procedures, was referred to website and the rules (to me) were a little overwhelming. I'm sure they have reasons for all those rules! I do find some items there on occasion and the people who work there are very pleasant and friendly. They continually change things around to maximize the use of their space which is noteworthy! I will continue to frequent it as often as I can. read more

I will not come back here. They were very rude when asking us to leave because we had a 10 month old in an umbrella stroller. I guess they don't really want you to be able to shop here anyways because they want your hands full with your child, or maybe they just hate children all together. My review is intended to let you know about this place in case you are thinking of taking a long drive out to it. And this visit did happen a few years ago prior to them having their website so you can visit the website now to find out all the "rules". I live in North Fort Worth and had a very good friend rave about this place, you drop your stuff off and they mail you a check so you don't have to come back later. Sounded good. I drove the thirty minutes out to Decatur and walked in the store with my stuff in a trash bag wearing a t-shirt, jeans, shorts, and flip flops. The store had two employees and only one customer buying a pillow. Immediately I was told by one employee "Are you here to CONSIGN?" in a haughty tone of voice. I said yes. "You need an appointment in order to CONSIGN". Thus I was dismissed. I told them I had driven 30 minutes to get here and I would not be coming back. Upon my next seeing my friend again I told her about what had happened and she informed me she never had an appointment to consign, neither did a friend of her who also was a customer. Anyway this whole thing was poorly handled which I let them know in many reviews online. I'm assuming something is good about the place as my friend loved it but if you are going to travel a distance you may want to call ahead. I ended up taking my items to the NAS/JRB Fort Worth Thrift Store instead. read more

Rude! The Owner on the county record CAD is Brooks Ann Ashcraft under T. T. A 2 Inc. & Teddy T Ashcraft. The complaints listed show a pattern of rude power trip from the so called Owner. Seems to never show her or his face. Always in back never comes up to confront mad buying customer. The unfortunate issue was I needed to show a text to get %25 off. I showed text from my phone as I have every time I have shopped there for the last 6 months! The little girl behind the counter checking me out said that one is from 2 days ago I can't give you discount. My response was based from discussed and confused. I obviously have been in the text data base for these last 6 months up until 2 days ago, so error is on your end. She even said before she went back to the owner that another lady had same issue. So she had to go to the back and get it OK'ed from the mystery so called owner. Waited 6 minutes and I have to share my frustration she took my phone with her to prove I was in her stupid text database! I walked back to the back annoyed waiting so long and rushed it along, did not help so a few minutes went by and getting more annoyed by the second. The little sales lady finally comes out Not the so called owner from the back and proceeded to check me out assuming the discount was granted by the power trip owner. I asked her why it was $220 instead of $165? Little sales lady said "Oh yeah, owner did not approve due to no text for today's deal!!!!!!! She was surprised when I was not buying. Bad decision for the mystery owner! I will Never step foot in that store ever again. Bad business model to hide in the back room. Who is the actual owner and or Manager and why is it listed as T. T. A. 2 Inc.? If anyone knows please share why they are still able to be rude to buying customer's and not think to change their rude ways. I stopped in here on my lunch break, hoping to find a couple of cute shirts. While the web site makes it sound like an upscale consignment shop; low end, used furniture, knick-knacks, and costume jewelry were the first things I saw when I walked in. I barely made it past these items before a young woman came up and informed me that their policy posted on the door stated that no purses were allowed in the store. I was shocked, but said thanks and walked out. The purse I was carrying cost more than anything that could possibly be in that store. Not everyone is a thief, and I'm insulted to be treated like some low class shoplifter. I'm not willing to leave my purse in the car, or take a chance on sitting my wallet down and forgetting it, for an opportunity to look at the junk that was in that store. No purses allowed... a man must own that store. Surely no woman is stupid enough to think women are going to leave their purse in the car... a no-no we are taught from the time we start carrying one. Ridiculous policy that I am sure costs them more money than whatever some loser stuffs in their purse. I won't go back and I'll tell anybody else that mentions it about my experience. P.S. Shop Owner: Perhaps you should make customers get naked when they go in too, since stuffing items into pockets, bras, and under shirts is just as likely a way to shoplift. read more

I decided to stop here on my lunch break to browse. I have an event coming up that I need a dress for and since I had a few minutes I thought I'd stop in. I got no more than 5' in the door before a young lady stopped me saying they have a new policy and that purses were not allowed in the store. I told her that was fine that I was glad to leave since I was not going to leave my purse in my truck. The other young lady told me I was welcome to bring my wallet in, I told her no thanks I wasn't interested that I had stopped on my lunch break to browse and I will not be back in the store. I understand taking precautions against theft however I don't think the solution is to make every potential customer feel as though they are going to steal something by not allowing them to bring in a purse. Instead maybe they should hire someone to walk the floor and interact with customers instead of 2 girls sitting behind a counter to tell people they can't have a purse in the store. read more
