It's a great store. I've been to a few of them now in different locations. I asked for military discount and the girl proceeded to tell me that with military discount I can return anything. I simply said ok but I knew that wasn't true. I figured I would leave a review and see if anyone from management would respond to confirm or deny. I had just pulled out of the parking lot and I received a phone call from management saying the girl made a mistake and I my merchandise is refundable. Because I had put two items back, once I was told I couldn't possibly return, I went to pick those items back up. The manager was very kind about it and offered me an additional discount for my inconvenience. Bella the lady at the register, hid behind the clothes instead of coming out to apologize for outright lying to our faces. The manager apologized for her which I thought was juvenile. You were so confident that I don't get to return if I get the military discount. Now you're hiding instead of ladying up and saying my apologies, that was a mistake. My daughter thought it was a bit racist (Bella's behavior that is) she's convinced that would not have been told to a white woman. Smh read more

Bad service. Very rude. I took expensive, stylish, like new clothes and Jewelry to them. It was a lot of items and they were busy , so they said they would look through them and call me. They called me back to pick them up and said they didn't want any of them. They were hung on hangers sorted and neat. They gave my items back to me, cramed in a bag, and they were so snotty about it. Part of the Jewelry was missing. So, apparently someone did like some of it. Before I took my items there, I looked around the store. I wasn't impressed with the quality of items I saw. Brought clothes in to sell. There were rows of other offerings lined up in front of the counter. I entered my information into the Kiosk and was told they would reach out to me in a few hours with my offer. They called and said they didn't want any of the items. Then asked if I wanted to donate the clothes. I said I'd come and pick them up. My bags were in the same spot I left them and didn't look like they were even touched. What a waste of my time !!! went to go buy a dress ended up finding something better at target tried to do a return because the receipt stated I could return and I was told I'm sorry it's incorrect. You can only get a store credit. Obviously you can't do anything about it but if the receipt says one thing, you should do to it and also not have a sarcastic, rude attitude about it. read more

This place never fails to disappoint. I went in over the weekend around 4pm with about $300 worth of clothes. Some old. Some brand new with tags still attached or still in the bags they arrived in. It took them roughly two hours to go through both bags. They called me to come pick up around 6pm. Now I wants expecting much but was definitely expecting more than what they gave. I arrived and the girl said they only took 9 items and could get me $27 in cash or $33 in store credit. NINE ITEMS?! I understand they go through a system that tells them what to take what not to take and how much they are but the amount of Walmart, Target, SHEIN and other cheap brands are in there and they took nine items. Most of my items when tagged and bagged still. Never worn. They use to be so good about taking more and giving more. They have definitely gone down him over the years. I do not recommend even trying to sell to them. You probably could make more off of FB marketplace or even doing a garage sale. read more

Drove all the way here to sell clothes and they said they were maxed out... like they couldn't buy anymore for the day, I saw all the bags.. but yet 3-4 workers were just behind the counter.. not going through bags. It was 3:40 in the afternoon and they didn't close until 7-8 pm.. anyway, now I have to drive to Lewisville, another 25 min drive away. read more

When I went in to take back the clothes they offered me $2/item for, they claimed I had accepted the price over the phone so they had already tagged them and put them on the floor to sell despite me not giving them a signature to do so. They told me because they had already put the clothes on the floor to sell it was impossible for me to have them back and I had to sign. This practice is ridiculous and shady in my opinion, and I would recommend y'all get into the habit of having the signature on paper before you put items out to sell. I am not happy that I was forced to take $2 for $100 leggings that I am sure will be resold for 10x what they gave me at a minimum. Just go to Plato's, they at least hold your items until you confirm with them and give them your signature to sell them. As a long time buyer and seller at Uptown Cheapskates all over DFW, y'all have lost my business. read more
