I would like to send out a huge shout out to Melba and her staff. I dropped into the store before I…read morehad received confirmation that my sons athletic workout uniforms were ready. Just thought I would check. The store was extremely busy but all working staff were kind and eager to help everyone. Melba (the store manager) went above and beyond to have my sons uniforms printed out immediately. I was leaving the country soon, and she helped me in a huge way to go back and have his uniforms printed. She brought them out to me still hot with the logos still needing to dry and cool. I can not thank Melba enough and want to say that even in a small store, filled with waiting parents, her staff was ALL very kind and friendly. I have another son coming up in school age so I will be seeing more of the Locker Room, Miss Melba, and her staff for many years to come.

Obviously we did or we wouldn't have cOme to your shit box store.

Fans United is a really great store for licensed and branded team gear. They have a huge Cowboys section at the front of the store. Racks and racks of hats, shirts, hoodies, and other accessories can be found here for all your favorite Texas teams: the Dallas Stars, Mavericks, Rangers, TCU, A&M, Baylor, even the UNT Eagles. But, I didn't see anything discounted. Without flipping over every label, I can't say for sure. But there were neither clearance racks nor sections marked with discounts. So, it's nice stuff. Definitely a place to find branded gear for your favorite team. But don't expect lower prices than Academy or Dicks here.

I have used the Uniform Store for my business for more than 5 years - embroidered hats and shirts…read moreand jackets, screen printed shirts, vinyl signs, vinyl printing for my store windows and work trucks, and I'm probably leaving some stuff out. I've also used them for uniforms and practice apparel for athletic teams that I've coached or been a booster club officer for multiple sports, and screen printed shirts for school organizations. They have come through with flying colors EVERY TIME. Big orders, small orders, custom orders, rush jobs, and everything in between - they even do custom art and design and come up with exactly what I want when sometimes I don't even know what I want when I walk in. Mickey, Shawn, & Darryl are awesome. I don't normally take the time to write reviews - I think I've only done maybe five or six in the last couple of years (and sadly half of those are because I had a negative experience). But these guys warrant my time on this - they just saved my bacon because I procrastinated on a big order that I had promised my church group, and they stepped up. I will never go anywhere else. GP

Finding a ski slope anywhere near Dallas? Impossible!…read more Finding deals on winter and outdoor gear and apparel? Less of a challenge! St Bernard has locations throughout the D/FW but their outlet is the true gem! Located out near Love Field in the warehouse sprawl, the Outlet is a bit out of the way for most. Their massive warehouse shop has a huge selection of clearance and last-season apparel, shoes, and outdoor gear for both cold and warm weather. Best known for ski and snowboard apparel, they also have a great selection of hiking gear, swim suits, shoes, luggage, sweaters, and casual apparel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bear has helped several times and he's very knowledgeable. My only negative perception is that some of their clearance ski apparel tends to be priced very high for an outlet. But like any outlet, it's all about the hunt for a bargain. St Bernard still is a high-end retailer so the brands they carry are top line. But wherever you may be driving from, it's worth the hike. Dallas is definitely not an outdoor mecca, especially for winter sports so it's nice to know for those of us who travel frequently, there's a place to find great gear.
