Amazing service, fair prices, great quality. I haven't had the need to own a suit in many years. I needed to get a couple but didn't want to go down the road of a "Men's Wearhouse" since, in my experience, those types suits are generally easy to spot, and a $200 suit just won't cut it. That being said, I was on a budget and couldn't afford a top of the line $1000+ suit (although they have this type here too if you can swing it...someday, sigh). These professionals made me feel very comfortable, answered all of my questions, and I believe enjoyed the opportunity to educate me about suits and how to know what to look for. They didn't make me feel stupid with my very basic questions. When I said I needed to think about my purchase, there was no pressure to make a purchase right then. I did come back the next day and bought two. I had gone to several other clothing stores close by, and was either ignored or greeted by a salesman who could not explain even the basics of what to look for in a suit and why one was better than another. Zar is the place to go for fine clothes. I met Roy back when he worked at Hugo Boss in Northpark. He sent me a message a while back saying he was opening his own shop. I finally got a chance to go check it out in Town Square. The place is immaculate, his staff is extremely friendly, and everyone there knows what they are talking about when it comes to fashion. I needed a new suit. Roy showed me a bunch of options, and gave his honest opinion. He will say that he loves a jacket, tells me to put it on, then says "oh, no. That doesn't work on you." I highly respect that. So we found a suit that was perfect for me, a few shirts, pocket squares, a tie, and 2 sport coats. I went a bit overboard. When I got the suit and jackets back from the tailor (Cho's, right across the street), I wasn't too happy with them. Roy had Cho come over and we redid everything in Zar, with Roy instructing exactly what needed to be done. I got them back the second time, and I am 100% happy. Roy is the bomb, Cho is a great tailor, and Zar is the place to go! read more

Have shopped both the MENS & WOMENS boutique in Southlake Town Square (same owners), & have had no complaints, thus far. However, that changed, after my most recent visit to the WOMENS clothier. In all fairness, the merchandise is upscale and luxurious, but in the higher end retail spectrum, impeccable customer service is essential. That being said, the customer service was inadequate and off putting, to the point, I will not go back. The owner seemed angry that I did not purchase and did not even say a word as I left. No doubt retailers are competing with online businesses for sales, which is all the more reason to give customers a positive store experience. I hope they get their act together because they fill a need with their merchandise. read more

A serious blow from Zar guys. I needed a suit urgently they suggested me a jack victor suit which i immediately bought only to know later that it was outdated , it was a horrible experience with these guys. As one of my friend told me to contact the Brand owner launched the complaint against ZAR that they are misusing the name of Jack Victor Brand. I started shopping with Roy the week he opened in Southlake. Toy is a master of customer service, and goes well beyond expectations at every turn in the shopping, fitting, style, and recommendation of your wardrobe. The styles he carries are the best, and he will be the first to tell you if something doesn't fit right or is not the appropriate cut for your shape. I basically buy almost everything from Zar and the quality / price ratio is perfect. Since John has joined Roy it's now a perfect pairing because John will treat you the same as Roy and cane they can both be trusted to have your best interest in mind. Wow! Zar is amazing, I shopped at both the woman and male section. The ladies at Zar were extremely helpful to me. I get numerous compliments on my outfit I purchased there. My fiance went to the male section and the owner was AMAZING! I can't emphasize enough how helpful, kind and knowledgeable he is. We went in April and still talk about our experience there. My fiance is a tall man and has an insane amount of trouble trying to find any type of suit to look good or even remotely fit him. The deal was with the ownersto get the price to what they requested and the owners (Roy/Zac) would give me a suit at no charge for my birthday 2 weeks later. It has been over a year with countless attempts to get them to follow through on their end of the deal and they refuse.They got what was promised to them and they SCREWED me over.
