So for that I will give them 2 stars, but recently I witnessed some terrible customer service. My daughter had purchased a sweater, a skirt and a bomber jacket. When she got home she realized the sweater had a pick near the shoulder leaving a small hole, which of course she knew would get bigger with wear. E Leigh's had sent her email advertising a holiday open house with champagne, hot cocoa and coffee bar. It sounded fun so we had planned to go in, do a little shopping and exchange the sweater. She took it in for an exchange, with her original receipt, hoping to get the same sweater just without a hole. This was exactly 15 days after she purchased it. The sweater she bought was out of stock. Both associates and the manager told her there was a firm 14 day return policy and that since it had been 15 days then she could only exchange it in the store right then. She could not have a store credit or a refund! Even thought she had her original receipt! We were beyond disappointed, but they made it clear we needed to pick something right then, so we began to walk around the store. At no time did anyone offer any beverages or snacks. There was no champagne and no cocoa bar. There was some punch in a self serve container near the door and some Hershey kisses. The 2 sales associates and the manager then stood behind the counter and just watched us as we looked around the store. They made us so uncomfortable we finally just left with our pretty cream sweater with a hole in the shoulder. I don't think my daughter will ever return. She was pretty embarrassed by their treatment of her.

The store is on the smaller side, but that actually adds to the experience, making it easy and enjoyable to browse.Shoes are thoughtfully organized by size, and clothing is even arranged by color, which makes shopping super intuitive. Customer service was great, and the clothes are in excellent condition. They also have fitting rooms, which is a big plus. Prices can be on the higher side for branded items, but it still feels worthwhile--giving clothes a second life while still feeling good about what you're wearing. Most items can be returned for exchange, except those marked as sale, which are final sale. Plenty of free parking available, and the surrounding area is quite nice. Definitely one of the better resale stores I've been to.

My 4 stars is for the store employees and the awesome clothes. Unfortunately I have decided to stop buying from WHBM due to their return policy and difficult to deal with customer service line. Every return I do there is just complicated and never seamless. My work schedule is tight and so I don't have time to try on in the store-i take it home try it on and return what I need to. But last month I spent $2000 in the store -so it's ridiculous that they treat me like I'm trying to rip them off somehow with a return. Not the ladies at the store. WHBM policies. I am going to start shopping elsewhere due to this return policy and I will recommend everyone to do the same.
