We have owned several RV's over the years and we were so happy we found Menifee Ranch Self Storage. Very clean facility with covered RV storage which is essential when storing an RV in So Cal sun. Tracy is a true professional and an asset to the facility. Communicates and is responsive in a very friendly manner to our needs. We did everything online. She was so responsive and friendly and quick to answer all of my questions. Menifee Ranch Self Storage has changed to Clearhome Self Storage and they are horrible!! I had my RV stored at Menifee Ranch for 6 years and never had a problem. They had security cameras everywhere and were monitored 24/7. Clearhome bought them out and immediately doubled the rent and took out all the cameras. 3 months later my catalytic convertor was stolen from my RV and many other RV's in the storage units. They don't care! They admitted it happened to many of the RV's but didn't even say sorry. read more

I stored my rv here for several years. They just hired a new management firm and I have to say bad move. My catalytic converter was stolen off the RV. They reviewed the tapes and I was told they didn't see any suspicious activity. I was also told they are not responsible for the theft. I understand they can't be responsible for all the theft however, they can do more to make sure the property is secured. I was told they have security in the fencing and cameras. Kind of funny that they didn't see any suspicious activity. It's going to cost about 4,000 to fix this mess. The parts are on back order and my family had to cancel our vacation for September. When I brought this up to the new management they said sorry but there is nothing we can do for you. All I was asking for was a little help. Maybe one month free. They didn't seem to care. I am not comfortable leaving my RV here and will be looking for new storage. I would be very skeptical to rent rv storage from this place. Be very careful!!!!! read more

I understand that there may be few to choose from in good ol' Homeland CA, but this is truly remarkable. This individual, is more than happy to call and threaten you and your property at any given time, in fact I think she enjoys it. I speak from experience, being 5 days late on my always prompt payment (i am human, and at times forgetful). I was told "we would love to take your storage unit". What?? This person is just the manager, and feels the need to taunt tenants like this. I can't imagine why this person was put in this position at all, either the owner is clueless, or wants their storage complex run by a bully. Not only that, but she also felt it a good decision to tell my mother in-law that she couldn't stand me, as well as other things that I refuse to mention. I fully regret ever stepping foot on this property, as it has only caused me anguish and severe difficulty. Oh, and let's not forget that there is NO surveillance on your storage unit. So, renter beware. Avoid this place at all costs, and don't say you weren't forewarned. P.S. This place has gone down hill they are now part of a larger company Clear-space What a joke they have doubled the rents and now are letting this place go down hill. Found gates wide open and broken today. When I got to my coach and started it up I realized the Catalytic converter was stolen since the gates are wide open with NO security?? I can imagine how many units had their Catalytic converters stolen. Imagine going to pick up your rig at a storage yard that has raised their rates 100% and your catalytic converter has been stolen due to their neglect now your vacation is screwed your deposits are screwed and the managers no longer answer phones just goes to an answering service. All they could say is you need to contact your insurance. I'm still trying to contact anyone to see if they have any video footage for the Riverside Sheriff department. This is actually a beautiful facility, especially for self storage. The people are extremely nice and helpful and I was really impressed with the cleanliness and security. It was a little out of my way to drive here but well worth it. I was able to store my boat which was really nice and I saved money for making the extra drive. i used their services for a Budget truck rental.....they were very friendly but not very good at their job. The young woman,Dana, who checked our truck out for us told us not to worry about old or rusted damage to the truck,she had us point out dents or damage to the truck but didnt mark them on her paper.We had noticed a chip in the windshield and she said she was aware of it....but didnt mark it on the check out sheet. Needless to say when we reac hed our destination in the San Francisco area they tried to charge us for the chip in the windsheild.The women at the return end said that she could tell it was old but since it wasnt marked she had to charge us!!! When we called to speak to Dana she denied ever knowing about a chipped windshield and was rather rude about it.We felt like she purposely tried to stick us with it!!!! We stored with them for almost a year, yes the rates are not bad although it comes at a price. We had item stolen from our storage, when we reported it to the receptionist she was not friendly and had no interest in calling the police or trying to help us out. We asked her to call the police so we could fill a report on the stolen items, she reply "you call them, this is not my problem". Then she continues to argue with us, like it was our fault, the women calls my wife a F*cken B*itch and tries to fight her. Can you say "ghetto"? I was a customer with them for about a year. I always paid on time. Although I never had any major problems, the manager on-site, Tracy, is extremely rude and has terrible phone and personal etiquette. I ignored this until the day I tried switching to a smaller unit. Tracy was rude (per usual), rolling her eyes constantly and rudely answering even simple questions (as if this was not her job and she had better things to do - despite being the only worker present in the front office). When I asked about pricing and mentioned I had spoken with the owners, she became even ruder and stated that it didn't matter if I had spoken with them. When I asked about where the owners were, she became defensive, refusing to even confirm their names with me. She would only say, "I don't have to give you their information. They live in Orange County. That's all I will say." She refused to even tell me the pricing of a smaller unit. I immediately cancelled and moved out the same day. This entire conversation had witnesses who were as shocked and appalled as I was. I wrote the all of this down on the notice form, but I am positive she did not show the form to her bosses. She is extremely rude, combative, and a horrible customer service representative. I felt insulted and as if I was dealing with a teenager.
