They ensured us it would match and they even took into account what part of the house got hit by the sun more than other parts - complete care :). I did not know a thing about this company before i called them and they just did a fabulous job. So much so, my neighbor is already calling them - gotta love referrals. Omri listened closely to what we wanted and offered smart, cost‑effective suggestions that still preserved our vision. Beyond Remodeling built us a new retaining wall, installed pavers to extend our driveway, refreshed our landscaping, and replaced our old, chaotic sprinkler system with a brand‑new one. We truly appreciated the steady communication from Omri and the hard work of the entire crew. Everything turned out beautifully! We're extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Beyond Remodeling for any indoor or outdoor project. We'll definitely be using them again for our bathroom remodels!

Despite being twice the price of other quotes to strip and re-seal my pavers, I agreed to sign with…read morethese guys on a Thursday, because Isaac said they would work over the July 4th weekend, to be done before a bunch of other contractors started work the following week. I was skeptical, but he'd only agree if I signed right then and there. On Friday, they rolled in at 2pm, worked for maybe 2 hours, asked for 80% of the job money, and went home. When I asked about the lack of progress, they said not worry -- they'd be back tomorrow and be done by Monday. The next day, they never showed up. Nor the day after that. Multiple phone calls and emails to the office went unreturned. On Monday morning, they first tried to claim they never said they would work the weekend. Then they admitted they had, but their truck broke down. If so, why did nobody call me, I asked? They shrugged. They then pointed to other contractors now working in the front yard, and said they couldn't work. I pointed out that there was nothing stopping them from working in the back yard. They stared blankly, then turned around and went home. At this point, I started to feel these guys weren't being completely honest. This feeling would only grow with time. For the next full week, I had to beg each day for them to tell when they were showing up, and what work would they were planning to do, so I could coordinate with the other contractors to be out of their way. Each day, they refused to explain, found another surprise reason they couldn't work, and left without saying anything. And this was not just my opinion: all three other contractor companies working at the same time, at various points, all called to tell me some variation of "your paver guys seem completely clueless." Eventually the work got done, and ended up being decent quality. That is the only reason I'm not leaving one star. But otherwise, this was the most poorly managed, uncoordinated, and questionably honest home contractor I have ever worked with.

I called California clean and seal to come out to give me an estimate and set up an appointment with Isaac. He takes a quick look and with no measuring blurts out, this whole area right here needs to be ripped out and replaced because of the root damage, it'll be $20,000! And says that figure doesn't even include the stamped concrete! I had already received a bid from another contractor who carefully measured everything, explained exactly what he was going to do and got back to me later with a bid for $6,800! Isaac's bid was three times higher! He was rude and arrogant telling me I would never be able to get a lower bid. I wonder if it's just women he treats like this!

I wish I could give a better review, since I really like Oswaldo - nice guy, easy to talk to…read more Unfortunately, the quality of work they did for us was not that great. We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

We knew our current deck was very weathered and old, so this wasn't going to be a simple "replace some boards" project. Enrique was quick to contact us after our initial inquiry for services, made an appointment to do a walk through and was able to help get this project started right away. He walked us through all the things that would have to be done for repair and replace the patio, being fully transparent each step of the way with full transparency on price range so we never had any surprise costs. With Enrique's recommendations we were able to pick out deck materials that were close to the original look and color of the old deck, which we wanted. We also had some metal detailing that had to be replaced and they had creative solutions to address the unique curvature of the desk to make sure everything looked flawless. The demo, repair, and replace of the deck was very quick with great commutation every step of the way by Enrique. We are so happy with the results and highly recommend this company for patio repair and remodel.

There is a reason SD Footing Repair are the go-to contractor for historic homes like mine. They know the job inside and out, they work hard and efficiently, and they take pride in their work. SD Footing Repair replaced my perimeter foundation, along with a number of post and piers. Every single knowledgeable person, from the foundation engineer to the city inspector, has praised the work they performed. I never really thought much about foundations before, but I am actually proud to show off the foundation SD Footing Repair built for my house. It's that nice. We had the foundation certified and inspected without issue. Jason, the owner of SD Footing Repair, was on site frequently throughout the project, and was professional and easy to work with. It's obvious that he cares about his crew and his customers, and does everything he can to make an intimidating home renovation less intimidating. Replacing an entire foundation is an unpleasant project to have to undertake, especially on a historic home. At the end of the day, though, SD Footing Repair ensured the project was completed on-budget and ahead of schedule, with no drama. In fact, they even cleaned up the mess left by another contractor (literally). I would not hesitate to recommend SD Footing Repair to anyone needing foundation work, especially on a historic home.

Usually companies don't really move us ahead, but Michele was very quick about the appointment books. She first moved me up a week and then she asked me if they could start work the first week of October. Jason, his foreman, and his crew were very quick and knew what they were doing. They got the job done in 2 days for a 1180sq foot house. I want to personally thank Michele for being amazing. She replies very quickly to you even though she's super busy with all the admin work.
