One of my absolute favorite grilled cheese's ever!! Love this place for a quick bite after tanning on the beach!!

Best on the menu is Strawberry Goat Forever (goat cheese, strawberry preserves, prosciutto) - just the right mixture of savory and sweet, admittedly coming from someone who loves goat cheese. This Little Figgy (Brie, bacon, sweet fig compote) was very sweet in comparison. Cuban McConnell (pulled pork, brown bag ham, gruyere, pickles, mustard sauce) was okay. Overall it took them a little bit longer compared to the other food trucks (Beach Dogs, Crepes du Soleil) to make - but worth the wait. We decided to get dinner from the wide selection of airstreams in Seaside Square on Friday Family night with movie playing in the amphitheater. Easily were able to find a table at 7P in October. read more

The sandwiches are delicious. We had the American grilled cheese and the 5 cheese. Unfortunately, the customer service isn't good. I went to make a payment and the gentlemen explained to me that he can't take cash. I know most places do this now & that's not the issue. The issue was the poor delivery. Well, it's grilled cheese so that's a good start but in the expanding world of grilled cheese spots this one actually exceeds what you might make at home (assuming you know your way around the kitchen). There is always a line but we arrived at opening, and got it for a slightly delayed lunch. Seems to open around 11. The day we were there, there were several items already on the board that were listed out of, including bacon. uh oh. But I was able to redirect to the Strawberry Jam, Goat Cheese and Ham and it was better than I hoped! My group was excited to try as we are all grilled cheese fans. my order was $21.22 for a grilled cheese, chips and a drink plus tip. after waiting 45 minutes in line, i got my caprese grilled cheese. i was so let down by it. the bread was burnt, a drop of balsamic and the mozzarella was not melted. my two friends were also not thrilled, one gave an 8/10 (all american)and the other a (this little figgy) 6/10. collectively we agreed that it was not worth the money or wait. maybe we needed different orders or to come when it isn't packed and rushed. the cashier and staff were extremely friendly, though! read more

There are a lot of options to eat in this area but we went solely off of the yelp ratings. These guys scored a bit higher than their competitors. I know you think that it's hard to mess up a grill cheese but these aren't ordinary grill cheeses. Really liked the Cuban and my wife enjoyed the All American. Large, plush slices of Texas toast with enough butter to grease a door hinge. Sandwiches cut into two triangles. They were all out of arugula, but my heart had been set on goat cheese and prosciutto so they acquiesced to my request for a basil substitution. Perhaps not the wisest choice. Tomato cut through the richness from the crisped bits of prosciutto, but the goat cheese wasn't really ideal for a grilled cheese sammy. The three cheese on the other hand? Baller. Cheddar dominated, but the gouda and gruyere were excellent supporting actors. Big Cheese of DC, take note: every bite oozed cheese, and the layered melty goodness was apparent to taste and vision with every bite. Omg, grilled cheese served from a mostly windowless van? Yes, please! We ordered the special: provolone, tomato, arugula, bacon and ham (and maybe one cheese in there I'm forgetting?) on texas toast. Amazeballs. I had a hard time deciding because there were so many tasty options on the menu. I will definitely be back to try more of them. There is a hole row of food trucks, which makes it fun to grab dinner & dessert from different spots. The menu has a ton of amazing sounding options, which made it hard to pick. A few of the menu items were sold out, so that helped to narrow down my options for me. The smoked turkey had avocado, bacon, turkey & cheese. It was a really generous portion and very filling. I ate my sandwich overlooking the green space in the town center and the weather was so nice outside. At busy times it can get a little crazy waiting in line, but after you order your food comes out in a pretty reasonable time. I had the ham & Gouda, and my sister ordered the classic grilled cheese. After adding two drinks to that t was $20 so it's pricey for some sandwiches. With that being said, they were delicious. I anticipated being hungry after having just a sandwich for lunch, but it's so filling that I had trouble finishing it. We had "The Figgy" and the "Onion is my jam." Both had a great flavor blend on good bread (the onion jam was my favorite ingredient). The truck also gets an A+ for covid-19 safety practices. All ordering is online and completed orders are dropped at a table near the truck in brown bags for pickup. Both of the employees at the truck were wearing masks properly.
