    All American Grilled Cheese

Bomb grilled cheese, fast service, & chill vibes. What we ordered: All-American Cheese for $7 - cheesy, gooey perfection. There's a bunch of food trucks lined up in this area. There's free street parking but there's also paid parking behind the fudge place. We're out of state visitors but will def return when we're back in the area.

Caprese with prosciutto and a pickles marg!

Perfectly crispy and buttery bread with the freshest mozz and tomato! I could have had about 5 of them. Pro tip: add the prosciutto!

I got the GF Little Figgy. It was not good. It had no flavor and seemed like it was missing an ingredient maybe. It was also pricey for what it is. It's located in a cute airstream on airstream row in the Seaside town square. Other flavors on the menu sounded like they would have been better than what I got.

I was so excited to have found a gluten free grilled cheese place on my road trip, but was ultimately disappointed with the actuality. I wish they used better quality gluten free bread. The bread tasted like defrosted Udi's and I was hoping for something more unique and flavorful. I will say the inside sandwich flavor combos were creative. The strawberry jam and goat cheese tasted amazing together and they were accommodating with substituting the pork for turkey. I expected more from the staff. They were not very friendly and after taking our order did not give us a time estimate for our order being ready. The restaurant is a cute foodtruck style, but being outside by the beach there were a lot of flying bugs. When they put the order in the ready window I wish they would close the paperbag to avoid bugs flying inside to our food. Side note: parking was $7/hour as the weekend provided hard to find free street parking.

The Meltdown on 30A is always a great choice for lunch or dinner. I love the all American, which is a class grilled cheese. My husband always gets the Smokin Turkey which has turkey, bacon, cheese, avocado, and an Albuquerque sauce. They serve bottled drinks, fountain drinks, beer, wine, and kettle chips as well. Service is always super fast and friendly. All items are made to order so it will take 5-10 minutes for your food to come up depending on how long the line is. The only thing I wish they would offer that they don't is pickles. I love pickles with my grilled cheese!

This is the perfect yummy comfort spot! Cheese oozing out from warm toasty sandwiches. It perfect on a sunny but breezy day in February. We ordered the the Augusta with bacon, sloppy melt, strawberry goat forever and a roasted tomato soup. The sandwiches were thick and full of cheese. My husband loved his sloppy melt and we split the Augusta. The Augusta was perfect with the tomato soup. The soup was so delicious. It was so filling. Great flavor with a touch of a smoky taste. This is not something that you find from a food merchant! The strawberry goat was such a great sandwich! Tons of goat cheese and strawberry jam with prosciutto. We split one half and took the rest with us. There is a grilled cheese sandwich for different palates. It's not a complicated menu and there's a great variety. I can't wait to come back next month and eat here again!

A favorite airstream restaurant on the grounds of Seaside. I enjoyed my favorite caprese sandwich which consisted of basil, tomato, mozzarella and balsamic reduction. It's all about the grilled sandwich here and so consistently delicious.

I can make a pretty great grilled cheese sandwich on my own, so my bar is pretty high. The Meltdown managed to meet and even exceed it -- and that's saying something. My fiance and I stopped in Seaside on a Saturday afternoon to explore and grab a bite to eat. After seeing all of the adorable Airstream food trucks, we both chose to order from the Meltdown. I opted for the "French Onion is My Jam" while he ordered the "5-Cheese Bomb" and added bacon. We decided we'd each have half then switch, which ended up being a great idea. The French onion has french onion jam, swiss and gruyere, but be forewarned that in addition to caramelized onions, there are also some thin white onions (cooked) in there. The 5-cheese bomb, meanwhile, has american, cheddar, swiss, gruyere and pepper jack cheeses. I ate my half of the French onion first, then switched to the 5-cheese bomb. While I liked both, the bomb was, well, "the bomb." It was gooey with PLENTY of cheese and thick, perfectly cooked bacon that really took this sandwich to the next level. Both of us were quite happy with our meal. I live nowhere near Seaside but you can bet that when I come back, I'll be back in line at the Meltdown to try another one of their sandwiches. These guys know what they're doing.

Just got in to town on Monday (my family has owned a house here for over 30 years) and the first thing I did was run to Meltdown and get my French Onion Grilled Cheese. I literally think about it all year in California and can't wait to get here and have one. As always it did not disappoint Ooie Gooey Amazingness ‍

Our go-to for grilled cheese and we're locals. Worth the wait! All American is our favorite, or sub cheddar.

Maybe a little overhyped, but still very good! I had a regular grilled cheese and it was very satisfying.

It is good. Lots of variety in sandwiches. We had the original grilled and a spicy turkey option. Both were solid.

BLUF: Neat building, ok food, bar out back looks like a good time…read more I love the building that Cowgirl Kitchen is located in. It reminds me of a mid-century diner or service station that you would have seen on historic Route 66. While indeed a mid-century building dating back to the 1950s, it was originally a cottage in Seagrove Beach. I love that the owners had the historic cottage relocated when it was threatened by a new subdivision being built in Seagrove. The logistics at Cowgirl Kitchen are that you order inside and then a server will bring the food out to you. We choose to sit on the front patio for a serene environment but I can tell the people out back at Boxcar Annie's were having a great time enjoy live music and cocktails. For food we had a round of grouper sandwiches and a side of chips. My sandwich was good. My sister's was undercooked - pink and jelly-like at the thickest portion. I am sure the staff would have been glad to remedy the situation but we frankly didn't feel like waiting in line at the counter again and then waiting for them to put the fish back on the flattop, or however its cooked. She ate around the undercooked part and we moved on with our day. Another thing that is nice about Cowgirl Kitchen is that it's right net to "The Stalls of 30A" - a unique and fun shopping experience. I always appreciate when I can eat, drink and shop and not have to move the car!
