Eclectic decor

Ion was our server, and he was fantastic! He gave us honest recommendations and had such a relaxed, friendly vibe. My friends and I each ordered something different and created our own little buffet--and everything was AMAZING! The blackened grouper, shrimp pasta, and chicken were all served quickly, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Each dish had its own unique, flavorful sauce. If you look closely at my photo, you'll even see finger marks where I couldn't resist scooping up every last bit of sauce. Shameless--and worth it! Took key lime pie home and enjoyed bread pudding while there, it was ridiculously decadent. The atmosphere, decor and specialized menu are all part of the experience-HIGHLY recommend!

We stopped in with our party of 9 and had a short wait on a Friday night but were seated quickly. Service was smooth and attentive with food recommendations and we selected most of the specials, fried green beans were great as an appetizer, blacked Grouper, shrimp and scallops with pasta and kids chicken tenders. All were fresh and really enjoyed the fried cheesy grits under the grouper and the kids chicken tenders were large and homemade. The owner stopped by towards the end to make sure everything was going well and showed interest in making sure everyone was taken careWe will be back again for a visit when in town.

I visited Louis Louis in Santa Rosa in August. The food and service were both good (albeit overpriced, but it's a beach town), and I originally planned to leave a positive review. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my credit card in the check holder. The following day, an unauthorized $700 Sam's Club online purchase appeared on that card. My credit card company refunded the charge after I reported it as fraud. I cannot say who used the card or how the information was obtained, but I contacted the restaurant because I thought management would want to look into the timing and circumstances. The general manager, Shelby, returned my call several days later. I found her dismissive and rude, and she would not consider looking into whether the card information could have been accessed while it was at the restaurant. She insisted the numbers could not be read, even though I could read them when the card was tilted toward the light. She then hung up on me. I made it clear that I was not asking the restaurant for money or accusing a specific employee. I only wanted management to take the concern seriously and investigate. I also contacted the owner through Facebook but received no response. What began as a great dining experience was completely overshadowed by the way my concern was handled. I will remove this review if the owner or management contacts me to apologize for how I was treated.

A throwback type of atmosphere for a fun casual dinner. Surprisingly very good food, especially the blackened grouper. Menu items and seasoning leans more New Orleans southern comfort. Every part of the wall had kitschy artwork or souvenir. Fun and loud atmosphere. Service was attentive and provided good recommendations popular items. Limited wine and alcohol options though. Overall fun dining experience.

This is the restaurant my friend group chose for our nice dinner at the beach. Louis Louis is in Santa Rosa Beach. When we got here, there was a 40 minute wait, but that was fine as we were able to order drinks at the bar and enjoy it on the outside patio. I ordered the Blu Lou which was like a blueberry sour mix and sprite cocktail. Very tasty! Once we got to to our table inside, We ordered mozzarella sticks to share for the table. I ordered the Chicken Panne as my entree. It was delicious! I forgot how much I loved Chicken Panne and especially the capers! it came with mashed potatoes, bread, and a salad that was tossed in some of the best vinaigrette! My friend Liza ordered the kid's serving which was pretty much the same plate minus one piece of chicken so that's probably what I would get next time if not I will get the shrimp and crawfish pasta which also really caught my eye as well!

The blackened grouper is my favorite meal at the beach! I look forward to this dish every time I'm visiting Miramar Beach. The grouper is cooked to perfection and the grit cake is the best addition. This meal is what dreams are made of! Don't skip the key lime pie

My sister and her husband had been here before and really like the place so we booked reservations for my brother-in-laws birthday dinner. Heir menu really doesn't change, but it doesn't need to. They have amazing seafood, great sides and cold drinks. Josh was our waiter and was very speedy! We go out orders in and dinner seemed like it came out quick and hot. I tried that gumbo first and the flavor put be back in New Orleans. I had the grouper and my fiancé ordered the crab cakes. I heard they were known for their crab cakes, but I wasn't a huge fan. My blackened grouper was absolutely delicious. The seasoning wasn't over powering and the fish was cooked to perfection. The salad was my favorite part crazy enough. It was a tomato basil vinaigrette that was out of this world with flavor. It had a sweet base to it that brought out the basil flavor that made us all guess what the ingredients were. What I really enjoyed about this place was that the owner was walking around all night checking on the tables and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and that the food was perfection. Great dinner spot and really cool vibe with all the red lights and fun paintings everywhere.

Service was decent. Ambiance is ridiculous. I'm 35. I shouldn't need my flashlight to see the menu. It was so insanely loud. Food was....ok. I don't think it was worth over $200 for 3 meals. Also. Salads on the entree plate?!?! Messy and unnecessary.

First time here!!

Can I make a reservation? If not, is there call-ahead seating?

They do not take reservations or call ahead seating. Go before 6 and the wait should not be to long.

My wife and I started by splitting a bowl of gumbo, then shared the Grouper Fish House. Both were excellent. My wife commented that with the Grouper Fish House she could actually taste the different flavors of all the seafood rather than everything blending together. We had the grouper blackened and it was fantastic. The crab was moist and not overcooked. The combination of the crab, blackened grouper, sauce, and butter over the mashed potatoes made the whole dish incredibly rich and filling. Splitting it was definitely the right call. Service was fast and friendly, especially considering how busy they were. We sat outside on a cool evening and really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the activity around us. There was live music playing in two different areas, although unfortunately we were seated where we couldn't really hear either one. Great meal, great atmosphere, and pretty impressive that they could handle that many people without the food or service suffering. We'll definitely be back.
