I've been living here for two years and haven't been able to go back to Thailand because of my health. Flying is difficult for me, so when I found out this place had Thai-inspired ice cream flavors, of course I had to try it. The owners were so nice and friendly. You can sample up to three flavors, which I think is very reasonable. Please be considerate, though--don't ask to try every flavor and then buy only one scoop. I sampled two flavors before deciding. I ordered a double scoop with Mango Sticky Rice and Blue Jasmine & Passion Fruit Swirl. My husband got Ube Crunchy Malt and a Yakult flavor. I forgot the full name of the Yakult one, but I think it was seasonal. The Mango Sticky Rice was so good that I had to buy a pint home. Since moving here, this is honestly one of the best homemade ice cream shops I've tried. A solid 10/10 for me! Maybe it's because I have Thai taste buds, but I don't like ice cream that is overly sweet. I'm not judging American-style ice cream--it's just usually way too sweet for me. The flavors here were perfectly balanced, and I could actually taste everything without the sweetness overpowering it. This review is longer than usual because I really loved this place. Delicious! Every time I discover a new place, I always say to myself "why can't we have this in Davis?" Hubby and I shared the flight and got black sesame cookies 'n cream, ube malted crunch, hojicha biscoff, mango sticky rice. It was all so yummy. First time visiting this ice cream shop in Berkeley. We stopped by for the hot chocolate, which had about a 30-45 minute wait. While waiting outside, we decided to grab an ice cream cone since the space inside is very small and most of the seating is outdoors.
