We Tried Almost Everything and It Was Friggin' Amazing!!…read more I always say the true test of fresh food is how long it lasts before spoiling or before I finish it (don't judge me, I'm a picker). The fries and chicken wings were even better cold, in my opinion. And then, on the third day, after warming them in the air fryer, they were still amazing. I froze the limeade, and I'm going to suggest they start freezing the juices--it made all the difference! It was so refreshing! 6/5 Stars - A Life-Changing, Taste-Bud-Tingling, Food Truck Extravaganza! I just indulged in the most unforgettable, jaw-dropping, and downright sinful food truck experience at [Anarchy XMM](https://www.instagram.com/anarchyxmm/), and I'm still reeling from the unadulterated bliss! Their new specialty sandwich, the "We Hungry AF" (a nod to the Richmond VA blogging team @we_hungryaf), is a CULINARY MASTERPIECE that will leave you weak in the knees and begging for more. Now, onto the main event! Imagine sinking your teeth into a succulent, expertly seasoned Jerk Fried Chicken Breast, its crispy exterior giving way to a juicy, tender interior that simply melts in your mouth. This majestic masterpiece is nestled between a sweet, fluffy, and crispy Ube Waffle (aka Purple Deception), its deep purple hue a harbinger of the flavor explosion to come. The waffle's subtle sweetness perfectly balances the savory, aromatic spices of the jerk chicken, creating a match made in heaven. But that's not all--this gastronomic symphony is elevated by a trio of sauces that will leave you singing: the creamy, tangy Matouk's, the smoky, spicy Jerk BBQ, and the sweet, velvety Yum Yum. The combination is pure MAGIC, a harmonious balance of flavors that will leave you wondering how you ever lived without it. (Pro tip: go for all three sauces if you can handle a slight kick, or ask for no Matouk's if you're a spice newbie--but trust me, the heat is worth it!) And just when you thought it was all about the sandwich, the supporting cast of flavors steals the show: the crunchy, peppery Spring Mix adds a delightful textural contrast, while the thinly sliced Tomato provides a burst of juicy freshness. But the true MVP is the Fried Sweet Plantain, its crispy exterior and fluffy interior a masterclass in texture and flavor. This sweet, sweet plantain is the unsung hero that balances out the heat, leaving you with a delightful tingling sensation that will leave you craving more. But wait, there's more! The mac and cheese is a creamy, comforting revelation, its perfectly cooked pasta coated in a rich, velvety sauce that will transport you back to your childhood. The chicken wings are crispy, spicy, and addictively delicious, with a depth of flavor that will leave you wondering what dark magic Anarchy XMM employs to make them so irresistible. And the apple pie? Flaky, buttery, and indulgently sweet, with a crumbly crust that shatters in your mouth like a promise of happiness. This food truck is a gourmet kitchen on wheels, folks! Anarchy XMM is a game-changer, a culinary experience that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about food. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself and thank me later--but be warned: once you taste the magic, there's no going back. But what truly sets Anarchy XMM apart is the exceptional service from the dynamic duo, Shawn the Host extraordinaire, and the lovely Hostess Temeka with the mostest. These two charismatic hosts treated us like ROYALTY, showering us with warm smiles, attentive service, and a genuine passion for the culinary delights they were serving. They expertly guided us through the menu, offered spot-on recommendations, and made us feel like part of the Anarchy XMM family. Special shoutout to Shawn and Temeka for their exceptional hospitality and for making our experience truly unforgettable! #FoodTruckFrenzy #RichmondVAEats #WeHungryAF #AnarchyXMM #FoodieFind #GourmetOnTheGo #UbeWaffleLove #JerkChickenObsessed #FoodComaGuaranteed #YumYumSauceSquad [@anarchyxmm](https://www.instagram.com/anarchyxmm/) [@we_hungryaf](https://www.instagram.com/we_hungryaf/) Get ready to level up your food game, Richmond! Anarchy XMM is the ultimate culinary destination, and I'm honored to have experienced its glory.

I wasn't sure what to get and they highly suggested the chicken and waffles since it was my first time. Man when I say that cutlet was seasoned to the gawds I mean it! The waffle was light and airy ..... perfect combination! To wash it all down I grabbed the hibiscus juice and it was refreshing and delicious. Can't leave out that the customer service was amazing, staff was very friendly greeted me with a smile.

My first visit I ordered the crabcake sandwich with fries and their homemade remoulade sauce, plus a side of fried shrimp. The crabcake was incredible -- thick, packed with lump crab meat, and basically no filler. You can really taste the crab. The pico de gallo on top adds a fresh pop of flavor and the remoulade sauce is delicious. The fried shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked. The batter is light and crispy (not greasy), and the shrimp inside are big and juicy. Their cocktail sauce is homemade and creamy, smooth with no chunks, and perfectly balanced between ketchup and horseradish. The fries are also amazing -- crunchy outside, soft inside, and seasoned really well. Two days later I went back with a friend and we grabbed takeout. She got the crabcake platter and loved it, and I tried the crab loaded fries which come piled high with fries, lump crab meat, cheese, and remoulade sauce. So good. Everything tasted fresh and the portions are generous. The staff was friendly and attentive both times. They recently moved from a food truck into a restaurant space, so it's a little smaller and you might have a short wait during busy times, but it's absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend if you're looking for great seafood and want to support a small local business.

Love the new store front conveniently located behind the DMV because I passed it on my way back from the dump, and it was definitely easier to find than chasing down a food truck, so Yay for them, opening up a brick and mortar! Brother and I stopped by and decided to split the loaded nachos like we generally do at one of our go-to Old Town Petersburg restaurants, and also opted to grab a burger because we weren't sure if the nachos would be big enough to share like we normally do. We also kind of would have preferred loaded fries to nachos (heavy lifting requires potassium, so obviously potatoes were the way to go.) but while the loaded fries and nachos were similar, the nachos also had things like pico and jalapeños. So I sort of wish they were identical, or there were a "pico and jalapeño available on request" because I weirdly feel bad asking for off menu changes. That's my hang up though, so no points deducted for that. The nachos came and they were definitely huge, so we could have actually skipped the burger, but ended up taking it home anyway, but that means I have zero idea how it tasted. It looked good though. The fries were also good, we did try some of those while they were still hot, but they were just standard seasoned fries. That is to say: they were better than plain fries, but were still just fries, so nothing to write home about. They would have been killer with the loaded toppings though, because the nachos were GREAT. The American cheese was gooey, the beef was great, the toppings were plentiful. It is basically a Philly cheesesteak in nacho form and it was really good. I definitely will try it as fries next though. With jalapeño... Service was great, even though there was a large group out having a St. Patty's day lunch next to us, the service was still on point. Food came quickly, refills on drinks came before we even asked for them, extra napkins came before we started mauling the nachos... This place is definitely worth a stop in.
