Somehow it is able to tow the line between all of these features. The hats are thoughtfully constructed to have less seams and their logos can be as low profile or as high profile as you desire. I'm not really a big hat person, but the simple style, attention to detail, and comfort compelled me to buy one. Cost is on the high end for this type of product, but I believe that it is worth it for the quality of the material and the comfort. I may buy another one in the near future! We came on a Sunday morning and I think there's a church in one of the buildings next door because it was sooo hard to find street parking, and as we were walking over to the event, we saw a bunch of people leaving one of the buildings. I recommend not coming on a Sunday, it might be easier to find parking. It's like a flea market with t-shirts piled up on tables by sizes. They have special t-shirts for $50, regular t-shirts for $30, hoodies for $70, and kids clothes, jackets, hats, shoes, all kinds of things. People are all over the place digging through the piles so it's kind of chaotic, but you have to expect that kind of environment at these kinds of events. The line to check out is crazy long, but moves at a decent pace. I was able to have a nice conversation with one of the employees about his home country while I was waiting and walking down the line. I don't get the negative reviews. Everyone employee we came across was super nice and friendly. We were able to get in immediately, no wait, no problem with our QR code. I've worked retail before so I know that customers can put stuff back in the wrong places if they don't want to take the time to put it back where they found it. Signs on the racks say that merchandise could be in the wrong places so prices may not be right for each item. The ladies that helped us at checkout stated the price of each item, and then when she said that one shirt was priced at $50 instead of $30, I had her take it off and had my son pick out another item instead, so no surprises on my receipt. FYI, don't bother bringing your own shopping bags to put your final purchases in like I did. They have to put the merchandise you buy into their own plastic bags or garbage bags - I guess to prove you paid? It's hilarious to watch people leaving with garbage bags full of clothes. No, they're not homeless, they just bought $500 worth of clothes...lol

They were also passing out these stickers that had times on them which meant there was a time limit to shop inside . I love the clothing they have for guys. I feel like they have such a better selection than girls. When I went to the girl section everything that I wanted was gone or it wasn't my size. Coming here you need to remember first come first serve try to grab whatever you like and sort it out at the end where they have the sorting tables at. If you don't like what you picked out make sure you throw it into the bin that they have out. The prices of the items are a great deal ! Can't argue with the price it's def a steal ! My haul for today was over 10 items for only $220 which isn't bad at all & my free gift at the end was socks which feels so comfy and it's a really good quality ! I bought skates on sideline but didn't know anything about sizing for hockey skates and the results were predictably terrible. Everyone in the locker room really wanted to help me and recommend I go to a shop in Anaheim or to hockey monkey in Irvine. The guys vouching for hockey monkey won me over with their stories of how good the staff was. I did not have a good experience, will not go back, and do not recommend. As stated... total beginner. I informed the sales rep, Alex, about my price range and that I'm just getting started and he grabbed some skates. I settled on a a pair and he informed me of the baking process. He baked my skates, laced them up for me, told me he would be right back and that I needed to remain seated for them to cool. Then - unbeknownst to me - he clocked out and went home. I waited there with my family ( we were hard to miss) until a manager came and told me the store was closed. I felt like a complete idiot. I hadn't even paid for the skates yet. I didn't know the process. The manager told me they still needed to be sharpened. They were nice enough to do that after close and the guy doing the sharpening was cool. But I was still really disappointed and felt stupid. Everyone in the hockey community has been cool up until this point. Very discouraging. Here is the kicker. I was just sitting there. Prime customer for gear. You could have sold me waxed laces, orthotics, pads, helmet, Anything! Im super new to the sport and definitely could have used the help. Easy sales. I will be going to the other store the guys recommended in Anaheim and probably play it again or online. Why would I ever go back to MonkeySports?!?
