Cool shirts , amazing vibe and decoration also cool accessories. Good prices but the plus tax really sucks

My son likes Stussy (like my hubby did back when he was in high school too) so I got tickets on Eventbrite for their recent warehouse sale. We came on a Sunday morning and I think there's a church in one of the buildings next door because it was sooo hard to find street parking, and as we were walking over to the event, we saw a bunch of people leaving one of the buildings. I recommend not coming on a Sunday, it might be easier to find parking. It's like a flea market with t-shirts piled up on tables by sizes. They have special t-shirts for $50, regular t-shirts for $30, hoodies for $70, and kids clothes, jackets, hats, shoes, all kinds of things. People are all over the place digging through the piles so it's kind of chaotic, but you have to expect that kind of environment at these kinds of events. The line to check out is crazy long, but moves at a decent pace. I was able to have a nice conversation with one of the employees about his home country while I was waiting and walking down the line. I don't get the negative reviews. Everyone employee we came across was super nice and friendly. We were able to get in immediately, no wait, no problem with our QR code. I've worked retail before so I know that customers can put stuff back in the wrong places if they don't want to take the time to put it back where they found it. Signs on the racks say that merchandise could be in the wrong places so prices may not be right for each item. The ladies that helped us at checkout stated the price of each item, and then when she said that one shirt was priced at $50 instead of $30, I had her take it off and had my son pick out another item instead, so no surprises on my receipt. FYI, don't bother bringing your own shopping bags to put your final purchases in like I did. They have to put the merchandise you buy into their own plastic bags or garbage bags - I guess to prove you paid? It's hilarious to watch people leaving with garbage bags full of clothes. No, they're not homeless, they just bought $500 worth of clothes...lol read more

I was able to secure 2 tickets for a Sunday Stussy warehouse sale at 12pm. The design/structure of the warehouse sale lines was poor. We got there a little before 12 and there was a long line in the road. It's not until you almost reach the front where you can distinctly see the signs for ticket holders vs. standby. We didn't get in until 45 minutes later and they closed at 1pm on Sundays so I'm sure a lot of people behind us that had 12pm tickets got turned away. Getting in, the inventory was overwhelming. It was a nice surprise to see that they had so many clothes left but the prices weren't amazing (e.g. men's shirts were still $50+). The checkout line was also really long. Overall we probably wouldn't come back to this location for a warehouse sale. read more

The store vibe and employee were totally fine. The only issue is that they only had like 3-4 shirt designs and they're limited in size as well. It was also quite expensive from what I remember STUSSY costing in other stores. The designs weren't as creative as back in the day - but maybe I'm just getting old. read more

The stussy sale in Irvine was extremely OKAY kinds. The value for money is sooo low. Rather prefer the sale from pacsun - low prices and damn good selection. Biggest thing is the pacsun sale is indoors so more comfortable to shop, compared to stussy which was outdoors in heat, not at all comfortable. read more

I love Stussy but they have to do something alut the cashiers at the sample sale. I bought a vest that had a listed price. Come to find out that the staff had a price of their own and charged me differently. read more

Service was good guy In front overly chatty though.. we didn't have tickets but we were let in anyway ( on the website it says you don't need tickets ) Lots of selection and honestly the pricing wasn't that bad. It was a little bit on the pricier side but then again demand and supply. Spend about $250 and will be coming back if they ever have more sales! read more

Not a ton of inventory but employee was willing to look in Bach for me. Definitely a positive! Everybody was friendly and outgoing.

My daughter bought a T Shirt and it was mailed full of wrinkles and just dumped in the box with a piece of brown paper on top of the tshirt. Poor packing. read more

They hold sample sales here from time to time. Location always changes but this location is spacious. Entrance is free. The tents are pretty organized given that it's a sample sale and people just grab and go. Each section is by type of clothing. There are prices taped all around. The employees hanging around are good help. They take cash or credit. read more

I've been wearing Stussy since elementary school - over 20 years now. Unfortunately, my experience at a recent sale has changed my perspective on the brand. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate Stussy's influence on streetwear, skate, and surf culture, but I view them differently now. In terms of inventory, there's plenty to choose from. Some items are barely discounted or not discounted at all, but if you're willing to dig, there are some great finds. My main issues, however, aren't about the prices. While most employees are cool, the managers seem disconnected from the brand's roots and consumer base. I understand that it's a business, but the Stussy I thought I knew isn't reflected in their company culture--at least from a consumer's perspective. A tip for anyone shopping: take pictures of the racks and sections where you find your items. I saw a customer who had to show photos to correct an attempted overcharge, and the cashier's response afterward didn't feel up to the customer service standard you'd expect. I still love Stussy for the nostalgia, but let's be real: the brand isn't really about culture and community anymore. Shawn Stussy is a legend, but his senior staff and their family members involved in sales are hurting the brand's image. I wish every Stussy fan could attend a sale to see that there's nothing niche or exclusive about it anymore. Stussy has grown into a huge brand, and that's impressive, but it's time for senior employees to either rethink their approach or step aside. read more

I went to the Stussy Outlet sale at the Foodieland Night Market today at Rose Bowl in Pasadena. I specifically bought tickets for Foodieland just to go to Stussy because it was inside the event. And we booked a time slot online through Eventbrite. Because it said you had to reserve a time slot online. We got there and the time slot didn't even matter because they let anyone and everyone in. They didn't check for the reservation. There wasnt really a wait or line. They just let everyone in. But it was really pointless of them to say we had to reserve a time slot. Just saying. When we got in, my girlfriend found an early to mid 2000's hoodie that was really nice, and it was 50% off. She also found a pretty newly released all black pigment dyed tee with the Stussy logo embroidered on the chest. For me, I found a fairly newly released flower tee. Everything was about 40%-50% off. So they quoted us $30 per tee which was fair because they were new releases and also the only ones of their kind on the racks/in bins. They each retail for about $50 a piece, especially the pigment dyed tees. And then the hoodie probably retailed for about $100, so $50 for the hoodie was fair. The total for 3 items being $120 with tax included. When the guy at the register (long bearded guy, huge reflective sunglasses and hat forward) told me the total, I could not hear him because the Stussy booth was next to one of the speakers playing music at Foodieland. Which made it difficult in general to hear not just him, but anyone I tried to talk to. And right when I walked out, I looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged $154. So I turned around and went right back to the register, literally took 30 seconds max. I was greeted by young lady at the register (she was folding the clothes to put in bags after purchase). She asked me what the issue was. I told her "I think he charged me for an extra shirt, I only have 2 shirts and a hoodie". She waited for the guy at the register to finish checking out the person he was helping. The guy looked at her and said "What does he want" (Im a girl by the way). And she told him "They were overcharged". She was really nice about it because she remembered me from 30 seconds ago and she remembered what I bought. The guy at the registered replied "Yeah I don't think so! Theres taxes!" in loads of attitude. And I told him "Yes but taxes on $110 worth of stuff isn't $45!" and he seemed annoyed. And he asked the girl at the register to open the bag and double check. He pulled out a calculator because clearly he cant do math without one. And the young lady at the register verified that he overcharged me by $34. And he said "Oh... Im sorry about that". And he returned the $34 to my card. But he made it such a hastle and had so much unnecessary attitude. Also since it was just today, I kept the receipt because I don't trust that the employee is competent, as he was comfortable being very overly confident, not knowing basic math. He should just always use a calculator! I have shopped at Stussy since I was 11, I'm 36 now. I grew up with the folks at the Stussy SF shop back in the late 90's to early 2000's. And still shop with Stussy til this day now that I live in LA. And I give all their stores 5 stars. But particularly for this outlet event, I have to give it 2 stars. For the employee at the register, I give him 0 stars for all the attitude and inconvenience that nobody needed. The 2 stars is only because the young lady at the register folding clothes was very nice and also attentive, she individually deserves 5 stars. But I had never been treated like this by Stussy staff. Tried to go during one of their sales and was turned away by an extremely rude old man who basically called us thieves and said we couldn't shop in 10 minutes of the time slot that we had left. Plenty of time to look through tshirts which is all my husband wanted anyways. Left pretty upset that he was such a d$&% about it and because of some apparent "thieves" we ended up not being able to buy anything. If there was such an issue with theft maybe you should have figured out security or a better system instead of rudely turning away actual long long time (like decades long) customers of Stussy. read more

I went to outlet sale on 11/4. Cashier rang up women's jacket as $85. I didn't see that the price was behind the tag until I got home, and it was marked as $50. Looks like the lady was just eyeballing the prices without actually checking. I remember getting other pieces from the $30-$35 racks too, and I was charged $40-45 instead. Beware read more

Great customer service! We had a student from Japan for two weeks and he did his best to find a Stussy Store. We were driving him around and i was disappointed there was no where to take him to. The other place you had to get on a reservation list, which was no longer any tickets left. So I wondered why such a place should try and have more stores and get rid of that stinking list!!! My boyfriend and I went to the most recent warehouse sale and were blown away by the experience we had. Parking sucks which is out of their control, so we dealt with it, lines weren't bad at all. However, the workers were incredibly rude, attempting to hide certain items, making up prices as they went along, and laughing to themselves talking crap about people. I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome, I understand it sucks to work an event like that, but it is your job you are paid to do. Being unpleasant for no reason at all taints the image of the brand and I would hope they would consider this and past reviews and change a few things. I did encounter a nicer elderly man working who apologized for his younger coworkers who were treating customers poorly, other than that, will definitely not be back. read more

If you haven't heard of Stussy you must have been under a rock since the early 1980's. Both of my Yelp profile pictures are me in Stussy shirts so I guess that says something. They have been pumping out stylish street wear for 30 years and there is a reason why they are still on the top. Also, they have some pretty sweet collaborations with other brands like Undefeated and Fruition. Quality is good and graphics are loud. read more

This place is so trashy with their pricing. Bought 2 shirts that were supposed to be $30 according to their pricetags, until I learned at the cashier that those shirts were $50. Line was also 1.5 hours to pay. It took 1 hour to get in. Don't go here unless you like getting ripped off. Super annoying and snakey. Disgusting company. read more

I order all my shirts directly from them and they always take care of me. One time they sent me over 100 stickers. I feel the love from them!!!They are always one step ahead of the trend and they don't disappoint. ****UPDATE****** They also have clothes for kids!!!! read more
