My lesson learned is "Don't let a Podiatrist do Orthopedic (bone) surgery". Find an Orthopedic surgeon that does your specific procedure routinely. I recommend Jewett Orthopedic in Orlando. It's worth the drive. Also their x-ray machine is very old and often not working.

Plus, his office is run by idiots. I asked for a referral, gave them the fax number and everything, they said sure. And then.....I never heard from them again and they have no record of me asking. And when I CALL BACK and inquire...they say..."a message was left"???? Um, no it wasn't. People have smart phones and email guys AND THERE WAS NOTHING! I hate liars AND lazy people! DO NOT USE DR. He was lacking in EVERY area.The worst doctor I have ever had. His bedside manners are non-existence. He did not introduce himself, or even acknowledge me as a new patient. No eye contact. He looked at my feet and asked what my concern was, then began to "shave " the bone. He inflicted quite a bit of pain and I started to bleed. He offered no apology, he simply covered the site then left the room ( used gloves and bandaid left in room) An absolutely awful experience. I agreed to see the new Dr. she cut the nail out but didn't call in my antibiotics until the next day after 1PM. That was on Friday. I had an allergic reaction to the medication and called on Monday. The office told me she was out of the office and would call me back Tuesday. Wednesday morning still no follow up so I called again. The again told me they would call me back and as of 11AM I still haven't received a call back. My toe is killing me. Do not go to this Dr. I'm in a lot of pain I believe my toe is infected.
