I first saw Dr. Brandon Frye for an emergency. I was seen immediately and given a clear diagnosis and treatment. I was so impressed that I continued to see him for my arthritic hands. Dr Frye sadly ruined the use of my hand and my career as a vet nurse. After his botched my surgery, I have had to have 2 further surgeries for correction from his shoddy work. I went to Jewett Orthopedics in Orlando for repair of his work. I would go anywhere but to Doctor Frye. Brief History: I saw Dr Frye for cortisone shots in a failing pip joint, he recommended finger pip surgery as shots were not working. I informed him I would like to have joint replacement but he insisted it was not possible, which many doctors since then have said that it was totally possible. This was his first lie. Next, was the condition of my finger post surgery as it came out leaning to one side badly plus it was excruciatingly painful. In addition, I found out that he also injured a tendon in his surgery and never told me. It had to be repaired as well in a further surgery, and when I complained to him, his words were "Well I thought I got it straight". He sent me to hand therapy and the therapist commented on the poor surgery result. As a result they tried to splint it straight, 3 times. That didn't work, it was painful to try and they even splint to go leaning it the opposite way! And he did not stop there as he then told me I had to pay for it to be corrected from his shoddy handy work and even offreed to cut my finger off! That is when I decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion. I'm so glad I did! To correct his shoddy I had to have a pin inserted the length of my finger, down the bone in my finger for over 6 months to repair the tendon. Also, the fused joint had to be re-broken and a long plate was inserted. Then another surgery to remove the plate. To this day, it is still painful and hard to even use. (2 years on). I cannot use my finger for work or life in general. I cannot grasp my hand. I cannot use it without residual ache for hours, and a burning sensation, and I was only 59 when he did it. In conclusion, sadly all I can say is he didn't care. He turned on his heels, as after I begged for help, he just said well we can "cut it off" and then he walked out of the consult room. I'll bet this would be different if it was his botched finger surgery! My career and life was assisting in surgery with the animals. Now I can't even fill a syringe. Lastly, once you remove a joint you cannot ever replace it. Be very careful to ever remove a joint as it's irreversible, so I suggest you consider a replacement joint instead. Please research people! This surgeon may be kind to other people but he destroyed my daily life, cooking, cleaning, writing, carrying.,but most of all, I can never work again properly. read more

I had 2 surgeries by Dr. Moyles. The fist was on my right thumb and it went well. The second surgery was on my right middle finger to relieve a "trigger finger". It actually made things worse. Much worse. Dr. Moyles is a nice enough man, but his surgical abilities are so-so. Now my left thumb hurts, I'll live with the pain since he's the only true hand specialist in town. read more

Dr. Moyles has a great reputation in the Melbourne and the beachside areas and for good reason. I was lucky to get seen by him the day after I broke my wrist and he was able to operate on my wrist the next day. He and his staff were excellent at getting all the needed prep work done for my short notice surgery. Being able to have the surgery done at an outpatient facility near his office was a bonus. Everything went very well and I continue to have a positive recovery at the Hale Hand Center Physical Therapy which was arranged by Dr. Moyles' office. Dr. Moyles entire staff, P.A. Sandor, the nurses, his office staff are all friendly, supportive and excellent at their jobs. I can highly recommend Dr. Moyles and his staff for orthopedic care. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Moyles for hand surgery. I underwent two procedures with him, both of which were unsuccessful. Beyond the failed surgical outcomes, I found his bedside manner to be dismissive and unprofessional. I eventually had to seek a second opinion in Orlando, where I am now undergoing a third surgery to correct the issues left behind. I should have gone sooner..instead of putting it off..hoping it would improve..when you are old, sometimes you make poor decisions...so, I finally made the appointment..i didn't take up much of his time..and I try not to be cavalier about someone else's pain .. I feel that every person is different and should be treated as so. Just because I have carpal tunnel doesn't mean its the same as everyone else. I had the surgery and now I'm worse off. The surgery did nothing to improve my pain. Instead now I have more areas of pain than from before. It's been 6 moths since surgery and the pain is getting unbearable. I did mention this to doctor and was told I'm still healing....what! After almost 7 months I shouldn't be in this kind of pain! Nobody does follow ups! You're just a patient number and not a person. I had surgery In September 2020 by Dr Kyle Moyles. The procedure was to relieve nerve damage in my left hand. I was in a lot of pain in my thumb and fingers. He explained what he was going to do and what results I could expect. The operation was successful. I went to hand rehabilitation and I continue with exercise at home.
