After years of lower back pain and sciatica I went to the expert spine surgeon at the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville and after seeing I lived in the Cape Canaveral area he *highly* recommended that I first see Dr. Christian C Prusinski for some alternative treatments before resigning myself to spinal surgery. If there's one thing I've learned is that back pain is very specific and not a one-size-fits-all solution. Dr. Prusinski was extremely caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. I greatly appreciated his measured approach to dealing with my issues. It took multiple visits and increasing levels of treatments but in the end he changed my life. Dr. Prusinski is very unprofessional when it comes to bedside manner. He is rude and arrogant. Each time I spoke, he interrupted me. My visit was less than 10 minutes. Then while checking out, he mentioned personal information about me in front of his staff. Hence; the reason of his fast office visit, I was his last patient and it was Friday. Best Nuerologist Ever! I drive 2 hours to see him because he's that good. He's gentle, remembers every detail and thorough. His trigger point injections really are the best. Iv tried other neurologist and regretted it. I won't trust anyone else with my neurological care. So grateful for him and his wonderful office staff they're also great. They're the best!! read more

Not happy. This was my first time seeing Dr. Prusinski (reluctant to call his a doctor) and my last. He didn't seem to want to talk or explain anything to me. I am still unsure of what my condition is or I how serious. I was in his examination room for less than 6 minutes and he then opened the door and wanted to race me to the front desk. Bill was $447! I was in a bad car accident. The ER Dr wanted me to see a Neurologist for the head trauma. I was sitting in the waiting room with my husband, and another patient warned me he wasn't very patient. Then when we were taken back, I heard him yelling at a patient, do not interrupt me when I'm talking. She said I'm trying to ask you a question, he said I don't care, do not talk when I'm talking. He was rude to me when he came him, I told him the ER Dr was concerned about the head injury, he started checking my my neck, and I wanted to show him the picture of my head injury, he said no, I don't want to see your terrible pictures. He proceeded to check my neck, and legs, said if I was having pain, I could see his son. I told him no, I was taking Tylenol for pain. So he proceeded to my legs, with some pins, he said he would have me come back for A EMG, I told him I had one a few months ago, he said I don't care, I don't trust other Drs, I only trust myself and his son. I was there to get my head checked for the swelling and bruising. I knew this would be a Dr I would not trust with my well being. I'm 79 and I've never seen a Dr this rude and unpleasant. He may of helped some patients, and that's good. But I don't want a Dr I'm terrified of in the first few minutes of being with him. When we walked out he set me up for an appointment for a EMG, I was afraid not to book it, so I did, and the next morning I cancelled it. Beware if you go see this Dr. read more

I am a newer patient of Dr. Chris Prusinski. For over the last several years I have been having severe neck pain at the upper spine connecting the base of my skull. I was almost at a point where I could not function on a daily basis. I literally had to lift my head up with my hands. I tried other Dr.s; over a period of a few years in search of an answer, and no one was able to diagnose the issue. I made appointment with Dr. Prusinski before Christmas 2023 with no hopes or expectations as I had grown use too, several times in the past. I do not understand how anyone has given Dr. Prusinski good reviews. He did not want to listen to anything regarding my medical history. He critized the size of my purse and wanted to know what I carry in it. I have to carry a lot of medical supplies due to multiple conditions, but it is really none of his business. He belittled and patronized me, and his only concern was trying to push pills on me for headaches. I didn't even come to him for headaches! He's a big pharma pill pusher who doesn't listen to his patients, and I will never go back. I wish I could give 0 stars. His staff was nice, so I guess he can have 1 star for that. read more

I can't say enough good things about this practice. I first was seen by them after an auto accident I I was in back in June of 2022. I was having headaches, upper back and neck pain. This man went right to work the first visit. He knows his stuff that's for sure. After I had received care from him for a little over 6 mths he then suggested I see his son for pain management. His son is an absolute miracle worker. Sure he is young, but he knows his stuff. I have 2 discs in my neck that were replaced a few yrs ago and when he suggested doing a nerve block , I was a little scared, but was willing to try anything to get out of pain. He did the nerve ablation and I am completely out of pain, and no headaches! I thank God I found him and his father . The office staff is also great. Always pleasant and welcoming. I have been to the Mayo Clinic, Shands, and many local neurologists looking for a cause and treatment. Dr. Pursinski took the time to listen to me and was empathetic to my concerns. Dr. Prusinski is one of the best specialists I have ever been to. He has been able to assist me through an injury as well as my other complex medical conditions. His level of real true compassion and knowledge has made a world of difference in my life. My mother is also a patient at the office and has received a level of care that she was not able to get from other physicians. The office and staff are exceptionally efficient and extremely Covid-19 compliant and sanitized. He is able to evaluate and provide treatments with a range of options to suit patient individual needs. He is able to notice even subtle tell-tale signs that many other doctors miss. The level of trust that has been established has confidently led me to refer others to him. Doctor appointments can be frustrating leading you on a never ending cycle of referrals with no results. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The Dr acts like he is on some sort of drug . In and out in about 5 minutes or less. Didn't address my complaint (problem). Was supposed to have a nerve conductor test on my legs, but due to my disability could not climb on the table with his stool, so he said forget it! Very rude in a soft spoken way. Even his nurse had a broken blood pressure monitor, so put down on paper what she thought it should have been. He did nothing for me except make me feel like I was worth nothing, even though he said he could help me he didn't. I only saw him twice and both times were the same Wait an hour for a few minute with Dr . Rush, rush, rush Little talk and no action. He could have helped me onto the table but just put his foot on the climbing stool so it would not tip over. I feel discriminated against. I'm a senior disabled woman with severe tremors. I filed a formal complaint with my insurance company. Plus he was going to put me on some sort of meds he mumbled to me, but when I called the pharmacy nothing was called in. I drive from the city of Fellsmere to the city of Melbourne, it's about a 40 minute drive depending on traffic, therefore, I don't mind. I started seeing Dr. Prusinski in 2016, and I am very pleased with him and his great staff. His demeanor is pleasant, he's very patient, shows great concern for his patient's chronic pain, & he explains whatever your treatment is thoroughly.
