I agreed to see the new Dr. she cut the nail out but didn't call in my antibiotics until the next day after 1PM. That was on Friday. I had an allergic reaction to the medication and called on Monday. The office told me she was out of the office and would call me back Tuesday. Wednesday morning still no follow up so I called again. The again told me they would call me back and as of 11AM I still haven't received a call back. My toe is killing me. Do not go to this Dr. I'm in a lot of pain I believe my toe is infected.

So, I contact him again and he does call me back and says, there aren't any other tests available, good bye. So I google it AND OF COURSE THERE ARE OTHER TEST he JUST DIDN'T CARE! Plus, his office is run by idiots. I asked for a referral, gave them the fax number and everything, they said sure. And then.....I never heard from them again and they have no record of me asking. I was sent to Melbourne Podiatry Associates and was scheduled right away. The scheduling process was super easy, barely an inconvenience. I really appreciated their patient patience. (No pun intended...ok some pun intended.) I first arrived and noticed how clean the parking lot was. Then when I came in the place was immaculate. I don't know much about renovations but I can appreciate a good combination of interior and natural light. The lobby was cool and comfortable and had different seating options as well as a play area for the kiddos with a well placed glass partition for visibility. I was greeted at the front desk by Julie who was courteous, welcoming and kind. That goes a long way when the nature of your visit isn't great to begin with. All as I am trying to get my ankle right before I lose my medical insurance due to divorce. Jack doesn't know jack about the human body. He might know ankles and feet but he doesn't even understand basic liver function or the flu. He has the nerve to question my PCP twice on his approval, a man who has 50 years of general health experience, a hospice doctor, so he actually knows organ function. Then Jack couldn't even answer a single question I had about the situation. If you can run from this guy, I highly recommend it.

He asked me if I wanted to think it over & come back at a later time. He does not suggest or push you for an option. I did have quite a wait (why the 5-star rating you ask?) I found out that on that particular day (Wednesday), there was only Dr Wilson working but the key thing was he did not rush & really cared about his patients. They apologized & since I was his last patient of the day, he asked me if I wanted to do the procedure then & there (which would save me another trip to the clinic.) Did the procedure (even went past closing) & his staff stayed behind. He & his staff still had the same cheerful, friendly, & helpful attitude at the end as when I got there. Sorry for the length of this review. I think on this particular day, the delay in being seen was the circumstances stated. Anyway, this worked for me & the quality of care was great. Dr. Brooks has a five fold total above Dr. Miller in regards to hip replacement. Although Dr Brooks is an esteemed seasoned Dr. An instructor, I chose Dr. Brooke and his staff because of the massive number of feedback Online from actual customers and their comments in regards to How happy they were after the procedure, how happy they were in choosing Dr. Miller and his staff and how successful they felt years later, as well as how caring his staff was, and how responsible, Confident and serious they took each day in doing their job. That amount of feedback was fivefold of the feedback. Dr. Brooks had online from what I could find. That feedback Was more valued than the five times of experience, Dr. Brooks had. Dr Frye sadly ruined the use of my hand and my career as a vet nurse…read more After his botched my surgery, I have had to have 2 further surgeries for correction from his shoddy work. I went to Jewett Orthopedics in Orlando for repair of his work. I would go anywhere but to Doctor Frye. Brief History: I saw Dr Frye for cortisone shots in a failing pip joint, he recommended finger pip surgery as shots were not working. I informed him I would like to have joint replacement but he insisted it was not possible, which many doctors since then have said that it was totally possible. This was his first lie. Next, was the condition of my finger post surgery as it came out leaning to one side badly plus it was excruciatingly painful. In addition, I found out that he also injured a tendon in his surgery and never told me. It had to be repaired as well in a further surgery, and when I complained to him, his words were "Well I thought I got it straight". He sent me to hand therapy and the therapist commented on the poor surgery result. As a result they tried to splint it straight, 3 times. That didn't work, it was painful to try and they even splint to go leaning it the opposite way! And he did not stop there as he then told me I had to pay for it to be corrected from his shoddy handy work and even offreed to cut my finger off! That is when I decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion. I'm so glad I did! To correct his shoddy I had to have a pin inserted the length of my finger, down the bone in my finger for over 6 months to repair the tendon. Also, the fused joint had to be re-broken and a long plate was inserted. Then another surgery to remove the plate. To this day, it is still painful and hard to even use. (2 years on). I cannot use my finger for work or life in general. I cannot grasp my hand. I cannot use it without residual ache for hours, and a burning sensation, and I was only 59 when he did it. In conclusion, sadly all I can say is he didn't care. He turned on his heels, as after I begged for help, he just said well we can "cut it off" and then he walked out of the consult room. I'll bet this would be different if it was his botched finger surgery! My career and life was assisting in surgery with the animals. Now I can't even fill a syringe. Lastly, once you remove a joint you cannot ever replace it. Be very careful to ever remove a joint as it's irreversible, so I suggest you consider a replacement joint instead. Please research people! This surgeon may be kind to other people but he destroyed my daily life, cooking, cleaning, writing, carrying.,but most of all, I can never work again properly.

My son had his toenail removed because it was severely ingrown, it grew back and got the same way…read morerather quickly. He went back and had it removed again. He put something on it to kill the root or whatever, so the nail would not regrow. It has since regrown and is ingrown worse than it ever was before. They won't do anything for him without paying full price. My son is presently without insurance (a college student). His bedside manner is not the greatest. He didn't wait for the numbing to take hold before removing the nail, either time. They said since it was more than a year since his last appt, he'd have to be seen as a new patient (even though his file was there because they pulled it to look at it.) Also, they gave us the cost of an initial appt but would not tell us what the cost would be to remove the nail until they got the $70 for an office visit. They are conveniently located for us but they are NOT getting another dime of our money. No way-no how. I'd drive to Orlando before going back to that office.
