February 2025 Review: Because I've had physical therapy twice before (Shoulder & Foot), I feel I have something to base my experience on. The location was a bit smaller than what I have experienced in the past. Sitting down at a community table to discuss my therapy & to have my bandage opened & changed among everyone else there was something I had never experienced before. Private health information & wounds were always cared for privately. Of course, the therapy itself was in a large open room similar to the one at Hale Hand Clinic... Karen was very kind and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my therapy & my progress thus far... Can't wait to see her Friday to show her what I can do now!! MARCH 2025 Review: PAPERWORK... Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... Worthless. I have a boxers break. They charged me 100 for a tiny piece of plastic on my hand. They did not even brace it correctly. And give me a hard time when I needed it adjusted after swelling goes down. I asked for clean velcro. She acted like it was a huge issue. Very passive aggressive behavior for health care workers. I do not recommend Hale Hand Center. Dr. Woodrow down the street sent me. read more

Customer service at its worst! I had to bring my mother into the hale hand center for a brace. She just had hand surgery 2 days prior on her right Hand the one she is dominate with. She is right handed and cannot write with or use it at all. They gave her a stack of paperwork to fill out which she cannot fill out due to her hand. So I am her hands to help her out with paperwork and so forth. I am also going to be helping her with her brace and therapy at home. I was in the building with her helping her out for over an hour. When she went to the table to get her brace made I walked over to see if there was anything I need to be done and I got Snapped at and I was told by one of the ladies that work there. I was told to leave out of the building only patients allowed inside. And leave now. Nowhere is there a sign stating this on the door, The receptionist should've told me when I was there helping my mother out with the paperwork and her IDs. So I sat in the building for over a hour with no one comforted me. and the funny part is the woman that told me to leave, watched me and said nothing to me for over a hour. I am my mother's caregiver, as a caregiver I need to know what, how she should do with her hand. If I need to put the brace on a certain way. If there is any other therapy that's needs to happen at home. Etc.., Another customer in there look at me and was shocked how I was treated. After reviewing the yelp comments this place needs help.. Past reviews are correct about the rudeness of the employees that work at Hale Hand Center. I was sent there by my surgeon after hand surgery. My wife was told to wait in the car. She is on Lasix and needs access to a bathroom. The receptionist was rude to her and if she was working for me she would be GONE! The therapist who worked on me had to check the label on the bandages she put on me to see if they were latex. I will not go back there. read more

I went to Hale Hand Center for therapy after receiving surgery on my elbow. The staff and doctors were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. The building was very clean, I was immediately greeted by the woman at the reception desk, and always seen in a timely fashion. I received treatment for a few months once a week and given home exercises to do in the meantime. I have now made a full recovery and a full range of motion in my elbow because of the treatment I received at the Hale Hand Center. I would recommend them to anyone looking for physical therapy. read more

Absolutely the most rude staff I have ever encountered. As Soon as we walked in the receptionist shoved papers at me and barked "get these done as soon as possible" I told Amanda iher behavior was not conduct becoming of someone who represents an office and she should be more respectful. She got up,made a face at me and under her breath said this is bullshit, what a bitch. Needless to say I was speechless. I got the name of Sue Hale, the owner and emailed her. No response. This appointment was for my husband who now refuses to go back which of course will hinder his recovery. Very very disappointed read more

I was very impressed with the Hale Hand Center. My doctor referred me due to severe arthritis in my thumbs. Making an appointment was easy and they were able to get me in fairly quickly. When I arrived I had a small amount of paperwork to fill out and then I was seen right away. My therapist, Sue, was very knowledgeable, honest and ethical. She suggested I see a hand surgeon and recommended a local doctor. She said therapy would not work with me and it would just be a waste of my therapy sessions. If I end up having surgery I will definitely be coming back here for my post-surgery therapy. read more

I had a very good experience at Hale Hand clinic in Rockledge. My therapist, Corinne, was patient, kind and professional. I looked forward to my sessions. The facility was nice and support staff were very helpful setting up my appointments. I'm grateful for all their efforts and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Hale Hand Center in Melbourne is the place where you want to go after a Hand Surgery. The whole Staff (Therapists as well as people working behind a desk) is very helpful and friendly. From the very first day on I never had any doubt that I was in good hands. My Therapist "Vicki" helped me to get 80-90% of movement and strength back in my hand in just 10 weeks.
