This is the most unprofessional place I've ever called. I emailed first. This is a long post but…read moreworth the read. **My first email, asking questions and they respond with 'Hi Les, Yes, we do injections and medication. The best way to become a new patient is to call us. We will tell you everything your need to know. Kind Regards, Cory Hanflink' ** So, I called and had the nastiest person on the phone. I hung up and sent this email. They're so proud of themselves. My email: 'Dude. What a horrible experience trying to simply get an appointment. The lady said I had to 1) get a referral from who's been treating me (you can't request medical records like everyone else? I'm not in good health and have a lot of doctors. My pain management doctor is too far since I moved here) 2) have the imaging and discs/reports sent over? I have these. I have this all on a disc, along with the report. I wouldn't have been able to see an orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor, and neurosurgeon without them. But you can't take them? I'm having a T5-T8 discectomy performed very soon. I have the advantage plan that I have (PPO) so I don't need referrals. And I'm new to pain management - only the last few months, but my doctor is near my old home in Orlando. You are 3 minutes away, but you are way.too.complicated. I'm sorry I called.' ---- the employee was a complete waste of fresh air----- and then they reply with this: ** Dude. I'm sorry you called and wasted our employees time. Every pain management doctor will need those things from you. You said you are new to pain management? Well we aren't, this is how these things work. We can't request medical records without your signature, its illegal. We need the report to find out what is wrong with you, or else the doctor cant treat you, that's kind of how doctors work. We are not hurting for patients, and because of your attitude, we would not accept you as a patient now anyway. Good luck finding someone to treat your pain, your going to need it! BYE!** ----------- What a rude, 'nasty' professional response. So I did a little investigating on my own, and I'm glad I'm not going there. I already told them I had everything they needed in my hands. Apparently, though they brag about how many patients they have, they probably aren't real, pain-management candidate patients. They're probably their medical marijuana patients. *MEDICAL MARIJUANA RIPOFF*- This is not what I was coming for, but this doctor recommends medical marijuana, but charges to add smokable and charges every 2 months. His fees are very high. This quack is one of the most expensive you will ever find! ------ Update: Cory, everything you said in response is an absolute lie. You're a fraud and nothing more, nothing less. You didn't spend time with me on the phone like you said, and everything else you said is an utter lie. KMA!

After several visits, Dr. Katakuri thought I would be a good candidate for an epidural. None of my other doctors suggested this but I decided to try it and I am glad I did. My pain went from excruciating to tolerable and it lasts for about 3 months. Chronic pain was depressing me so this has helped me in more ways than one! Also, the staff is really nice and professional and they have a new state-of-the-art facility located off I-95 TIP: Even if you have seen other doctors and didn't get results - this doctor might offer new ways of finding you relief.

My first visit to the office ended up with a surprise as they were able to perform a procedure on…read moremy back the same day. I only expected this to be a standard first visit, but I found some immediate relief for most of my pain almost immediately (even if only for a couple of hours). We repeated the procedure on my second visit and same results so it was on to the next step. On the day of my procedure, the insurer had failed to authorize the rfa ablation and I had to cancel the procedure. After a tug of war with insurer, and trying to get them to approve the procedure in time for a 12/23/24 date, it was still too late and the office was scheduled to be closed on 12/24/2024. After the end of business on 12/23/2024, the office called me that they had approval for the procedure and instead of waiting to the third date that was set for on 01/09/2025, the doctor opened his office on the 24th to do my procedure. What else is there to say, from closed to open for me? I am so grateful. This should be 7 stars!!!

I finally left Florida pain and went to see a real pain management doctor turns out I need surgery on my shoulder, which the doctors from Florida pain never cared to investigate where the root of my pain was coming from. I have a herniated disc in my neck that is pressing against my spinal cord WARNING to anybody who's wanting to use this pain management Facility. They will give you medication like Lyrica that does not help pain. Lyrica is an absolutely horrible drug that will make you gain weight . in fact, Florida pain took one x-ray of my neck when I first got referred to them and they started pushing me to do procedures. Now I am finally seeing a "Real Doctor" and on my way to recovery ! avoid this place , it's a waist of co pays and insurance. It's A year out of my life I'll never get back because of the pain that wasn't addressed properly . Note . The billing department will harass you and call you non stop over the smallest amount of money. .. I had to eventually block them from my phone and let them work the issue out with my insurance Company.

I have suffered from multiple herniated discs, buldging discs, sciatica, misplaced hip, etc and have been to several chiropractors, back surgeons, Pain clinics etc, and hands down Dr Alberto is the best. He was hilariously funny, caring, personable, and really advocated for the best treatment for me. Having 3 small children it means the world to me and my family to be at my best, and now I can. My quality of life has improved amazingly, I can mop, clean not bend over in agony or worry about having to fall and sprain my ankle again due to my ankle losing mobility from prior nerve damage. I can take my kids to a theme park without being in agony trying to keep up my pace. The new guy was concerned, caring and told me he would find the best and safest treatment for my pain. And he did I started having some good days. Then the wonderful physician that was treating me sold the practice. I wasn't particularity fond of the new guy but figured I would give him a chance. They for some reason could not get test results so I went to get copies of disc etc. before my appt. After having problems finding a place to park, I waited behind a couple of other patients to sign in and when i got to the receptionist another one informed her that I was more than the allotted 2 minutes and that I would not be seen. That meant no prescriptions etc until I could be "worked" in. The new physician in my opinion prior to this incident did not really care and his treatments gave me NO good days. I told the receptionist how I felt about the physician loud enough so he could hear me and after a round of applause I left. I did not return to his practice and a few comments made to me as I was leaving gave me the distinct impression there were many who would be doing the same.
