This was coming due by August 1st so I called about a week prior to schedule my physical. I arrived for my appointment on July 31st - arriving about 10 minutes early knowing that I would need to fill out paperwork regarding my medical history. I was greeted by the professional office employee and she gave me the appropriate paperwork. I had barely gotten halfway through with my paperwork when I was called in to the back. I was weighed, blood pressure taken, vision tested (chart), and had to give a urine sample. I then returned to the examination room where I had time to finish my medical background paperwork. Patricia Philbrick, APRN, came in with her stethoscope and checked my lungs (deep breaths), peripheral vision, color test, reflexes, and hearing. She was very professional and thorough. She signed off on my Medical Examiner's Certificate Card including her State License number and National Registry number. I have to carry this card with me whenever I operate a Semi Truck. Once home I uploaded a photo copy of my new card and updated my status online with the Florida Division of Motor Vehicles (easy peasy). I found everyone here friendly, professional, and efficient. I had a very good experience and so I'm going with 5 stars.

I did not expect this at all, because in the past, the clinic did not even have basic technical support such as automated appointment reminder messages. This small detail may seem minor, but to me it clearly reflects progress. It shows that the clinic is continuously improving its technical infrastructure and patient management system, rather than remaining stagnant. These kinds of behind-the-scenes improvements are not immediately visible, but they make a real difference in long-term patient experience. This is exactly the kind of progress I appreciate and hope to see in a medical clinic--steady improvements in systems, communication, and overall support, not just one-time good service.

Called ahead to make sure they could care for our 4 year old son after explaining our situation. He…read morehad a bad cut on his finger tip and needed X-rays, wound care + stitches. From the beginning, care was very unprofessional. The nurse(?) asked if he needed stitches (as if we would know) and made my husband and I hold the water bowl and our screaming toddler's hand in a bowl to soak while she left the room. The water dripped all out and we couldn't even get his wound efficiently cleaned. When she was explaining the process of stitches to us, she looked at my husband and said "you look strong, you'll have to really use your force and hold him down" and told me because I'm pregnant I wouldn't be able to help at all. The whole process sounded horrifying and was handled very unprofessionally. After having X-rays and being there an hour, the doctor comes in and says "so, do we have a cut?"..... after we've been there for an hour being assessed because of a cut that won't stop bleeding... YES we have a cut? Anyways, they referred us to Nemours hospital in Orlando and ultimately we wasted our time coming here first. They took 3 xray photos, and only provided us with 1 so we had to redo X-rays as the hospital. So thankful we did not let them perform the stitches, it would have been terrible! They actually have a cool little cafe inside Parrish Healthcare Center. They also had this phenomenal piece of artwork hanging from the ceiling in the cafe area. This building is really cool. It looks like it was built in the 90's but it turns out that it was actually built in 2007. A gentleman called me back shortly after I arrived for my CT scan appointment. In the room with the CT scan machine, the gentleman who walked me back, introduced himself as Donavan, my X-Ray Technician. Unfortunately Donavan could not find a vein in order to hook me up to an IV, so that he could inject my arm with the solution that they use to complete the CT scan. I told Donavan that they usually use a special sonogram machine, on my arms, in order to start an IV. Donavan said that he didn't have a machine like the one that was needed to start an IV on me. He said that he would have to send me over to Imaging department at Parrish Medial Center Hospital, for my CT scan, because they are the only ones who would have the machine that is needed to run my IV. Donovan excused himself to go into the other room, so he could make a phone call to the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital. After Donavan returned, he apologized for not being able to complete my CT scan that day. He said that he called the Imaging Center, at Parrish Medical Center Hospital, and that they can take me for my CT Scan right away. We said our goodbyes, and then I left the health center and immediately went over the Imaging department at Parrish Medical Center Hospital.
