Quest has moved into a new location in the Domino's Pizza strip mall right next to the old location which was dingy and neglected. This new location is clean, almost stark and efficiently laid out. I have seen the comments about the staff, and I guess it is all about expectations and how the patient treats the staff. My experience has been excellent. It is a busy location especially in the am with all the fasting labs. They are there to draw blood and move on. They are not there to make friends, hear all of your life and health problems or see all the pictures of your grandchildren. I have nearly always received a "good stick" and easy draw there. I have found everyone polite and friendly. However, that is how I approach everyone, and people seem to return the attitude. read more

Merritt Island Quest is always low or completely out of butterfly needles. This is unacceptable.

I don't know what happened to Quest but after using the Courtney-Merritt Island location for years, the "new and improved" location is horrible! I have no idea why I had an appointment for 10:10am and was called in by the lab tech at 11:06! The screen showed me on page 2 with more than a dozen people waiting when I arrived at 10:10 and most were waiting for nearly 45 minutes...what's going on??? read more

Bottom Line: They are a Lab and they do Lab things well. I've been 2x in the last year and both times it's been a smooth process. You make an appointment online. They send you reminders (I opted for text notifications). On the day of your appointment they send you a COVID question. You walk in and sign in on a tablet. They give you the option of waiting in the lobby or in your car (they will text you when it's your turn). I chose to wait in the lobby and was called back in less than 5 minutes. Blood taken and back out the door in 10 minutes! The Lab tech was nice, professional and gentle. When I got home I had an emailed receipt and the option to create an online account so that I can view my results. Bottom Line: Everything I need in a Lab! P.S. my lab results were emailed to me in less than 24 hrs!!! read more

Like anything else these days, you get what you pay for. Quest diagnostics is pathetically slow, unprofessional and completely void of any reasonable customer service. Save yourself from wasting any time with quest, diagnostics, and go somewhere else, anywhere else. It's hard to believe in this day and age, we cannot find a business that understands the concept of "appointment "I don't know about any of you, but my time has value that far exceeds that is which is being wasted by quest diagnostics. read more

When you HAVE to get blood drawn, there aren't a whole lot of choices; Quest and Lab Corp are about it. Neither is great, but Quest is closer to home. Getting an appointment in under a week or two is next to impossible here. The phleb-techs are competent, but you can tell none of them truly want to be there and you're just part of the daily cattle drive, which is just a continuation of the rest of the in-office experience. If I had a choice, I'd choose not my blood drawn every six months, but hey... such is life. read more

Expect a long wait if you don't have an appointment. The problem is since they have moved to the new site the website won't allow you to make an appointment online...Your stuck waiting unless you know to call the 1800 number and manually make a appointment. That all said the employees at the location were excellent. read more

As someone who really gets nervous having blood drawn my fears were put to rest with Melissa. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and distracted for my 8+ vials being taken. Appointment was easy to make and I did not have to wait long at all. read more

What an awful facility. Rude, non comprehensive, and a severe lack of compassion. The supervisor's headache was more important than hearing my situation or helping me with the issues I was having there. Been before with no issues, but if there is an issue god help you because it's gonna be a problem. I'll never be back after being treated like that. read more

I had an Excellcent experience. I preregistered online prior to my appointment. I only had to wait 5 minutes I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment .I had 4/ blood tests and was out of there in 15 minutes . Once you finally get to a tech, the service is fine. Arrived at 8am and was 30 minutes back in queue. Every time an "appointment" comes in, the people waiting get pushed back. If they had actual appointments, then the system should know about them. There should never be a time that I did not know I was waiting for them. Even if they hadn't arrived, they should have a place in line, and there is no excuse for someone waiting two to three hours when there's only three walk-ins (unless I was told it was three hours when I got here, in which case I would've turned around and went somewhere else). I've used quest for years in the Ocala area. Bye far this was the best experience ever. Clean fast and efficient.

Very user unfriendly and impersonal. Phone number listed is actually a FAX number. They don't want u to call. The other number available is a centralized corporate number. Totally unhelpful. So much for patient centered health care. However once u get past the robotics of the front desk the staff was very helpful. Janet was very professional and personable. Thanks to her I left with a positive attitude regarding my experience. Suggestion to the corporate office....... don't forget u r dealing with people and we expect to be treated as individuals and not a number. And remember WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY PAY UR SALARIES! U need to rethink ur first impression to ur clients It's not always the bottom line that's most important. read more

I go here often due to my diabetes. I usually have an early morning appointment since it's always fasting labs. They have very easy check in and I get in and out by, or before, my appointment time. I can watch the screen and get an idea how long of a wait there is. One time I went in without an appointment and was taken in and was out of there in a short period of time, it was maybe 20 minutes. I used to go to another one but had a negative griping tech 2x and said that was enough. I love Glenda at MI but she's now in Rockledge. Boo hoo. read more
