It was convenient, location wise, and I needed to make a quick stop for basic travel stuff, and that's how I ended up here. I forgot for a second this was a Supercenter and laughed off the fact that its size is gonna force me to take a little longer to find what I need. Whoa, this place, though! Off the bat CLEAN. Everywhere I looked, everything was organized and placed where they should all be. It made me wonder if they had staff who just go around making sure of this. As previously mentioned, this place is huge and yet I found it uncharacteristically easy finding my stuff. WHAT?! All but a couple of cashiers were open so getting out was just as convenient. Cashier was nice and cheery. Service with a smile is always good. How I wish the miniscule Walmart located closer to home followed the standards of this colossal store. Matter of fact, they should ALL be like this, Supercenter or otherwise. It might just change the not-so-stellar reputation Walmart generally has! Someday, maybe...

I'm reviewing this Mountain Home Walmart only. I wouldn't even know this was a Walmart unless the sign was up because I've never encountered such friendly and helpful people at any Walmart I've ever shopped at. The clerks. Every one of them. They were friendly and helpful. Then the manager interacted with me over recalled cucumbers but THANKFULLY he found some I could buy. Those were the best cucumbers I've ever purchased at a store, and I'm so grateful he let me buy more. This mountain home Walmart is the best Walmart I've ever visited. I'm SO impressed, thank you so much for making my thanksgiving meal A+ when I'm away from home and family this year.

I've chatted with the manager a few times and even complimented him on his hard working ethic never shying away from even stocking a shelf. A true sign of a good leader is one who isn't afraid to fill in when things need to be done. The store is usually adequately stocked and carry's a decent variety of product. It is a smaller Albertsons, so don't expect it to have all that you'd find in the mega stores of the bigger nearby cities. The deli always has its popular fried chicken and fresh bread. The produce department does well to keep things stocked and common items are also available at d you only need a little bit, like celery for example. I'll vote for a bigger beer section one day as well! They did add some self checkout machines. I prefer the social aspect of the cashier, but they are there when you need to get out quickly. It can get very busy here at times, but they do quite well at getting people checked out as quickly as possible.

One of my friends came into the store to return a few cans of unopened cat food and when he was…read moretold that "they had never returned anything in the history of Logans" he complained in a raised voice. There was no physical reaction from him whatsoever. The lady who waited on him decided to throw him out of the store. She then called the police on him who showed up at his house 30 minutes later to inform him that he was no longer allowed in the store. When he told the police officer that he banked there he was informed that he would need to go to Ontario to do that as well. My friend is a Vietnam Veteran. He was thrown out of Logans on Veteran's Day for making a simple comment when he couldn't return cat food. I'm so glad that I don't shop at Logans. I will let everyone I know how they treat Veterans on their day of the year, to do the same. Rather unpatriotic. Shame on anyone involved in this issue.
