I've realized that my review 10 years ago reflected when this used to be a Paul's Market. Updating…read morethis to a 5 star mostly because the current manager and all the staff here are truly deserving. I've chatted with the manager a few times and even complimented him on his hard working ethic never shying away from even stocking a shelf. A true sign of a good leader is one who isn't afraid to fill in when things need to be done. The store is usually adequately stocked and carry's a decent variety of product. It is a smaller Albertsons, so don't expect it to have all that you'd find in the mega stores of the bigger nearby cities. The deli always has its popular fried chicken and fresh bread. The produce department does well to keep things stocked and common items are also available at d you only need a little bit, like celery for example. I'll vote for a bigger beer section one day as well! They did add some self checkout machines. I prefer the social aspect of the cashier, but they are there when you need to get out quickly. It can get very busy here at times, but they do quite well at getting people checked out as quickly as possible.

It was convenient, location wise, and I needed to make a quick stop for basic travel stuff, and that's how I ended up here. I forgot for a second this was a Supercenter and laughed off the fact that its size is gonna force me to take a little longer to find what I need. Whoa, this place, though! Off the bat CLEAN. Everywhere I looked, everything was organized and placed where they should all be. It made me wonder if they had staff who just go around making sure of this. As previously mentioned, this place is huge and yet I found it uncharacteristically easy finding my stuff. WHAT?! All but a couple of cashiers were open so getting out was just as convenient. Cashier was nice and cheery. Service with a smile is always good. How I wish the miniscule Walmart located closer to home followed the standards of this colossal store. Matter of fact, they should ALL be like this, Supercenter or otherwise. It might just change the not-so-stellar reputation Walmart generally has! Someday, maybe...

I'm reviewing this Mountain Home Walmart only. I wouldn't even know this was a Walmart unless the sign was up because I've never encountered such friendly and helpful people at any Walmart I've ever shopped at. The clerks. Every one of them. They were friendly and helpful. Then the manager interacted with me over recalled cucumbers but THANKFULLY he found some I could buy. Those were the best cucumbers I've ever purchased at a store, and I'm so grateful he let me buy more. This mountain home Walmart is the best Walmart I've ever visited. I'm SO impressed, thank you so much for making my thanksgiving meal A+ when I'm away from home and family this year.

I did have a credit card on file on the app which I believe is required. Well, I called the store and cancelled my order. The nice woman said I won't be charged. Great! But the next day I saw the entire amount, , plus an extra $5 charge against my bank account! This was an unauthorized charge! I was told it would come off my account in 2-3 days, but still, that card on file is for items that may cost more than what is stated on order. So I went from a "no you won't be charged" to an unauthorized charge. If you don't want this happening to you, remove the payment card that you do not want charged without your approval

One of my friends came into the store to return a few cans of unopened cat food and when he was…read moretold that "they had never returned anything in the history of Logans" he complained in a raised voice. There was no physical reaction from him whatsoever. The lady who waited on him decided to throw him out of the store. She then called the police on him who showed up at his house 30 minutes later to inform him that he was no longer allowed in the store. When he told the police officer that he banked there he was informed that he would need to go to Ontario to do that as well. My friend is a Vietnam Veteran. He was thrown out of Logans on Veteran's Day for making a simple comment when he couldn't return cat food. I'm so glad that I don't shop at Logans. I will let everyone I know how they treat Veterans on their day of the year, to do the same. Rather unpatriotic. Shame on anyone involved in this issue.

It was super hot out...and I was traveling with my little parrotlet (smaller than a parakeet) and the young lady, Lindsay, at Mrs. Z's was lovely. Very sweet, very helpful...but after I had been there a short time, in walk another woman named Lou, who kicked me out and I was forced to sit in the hot sun outside with my bird for about 4 hours. Being there for 4 hours also gave me the opportunity to chat with others in the area and apparently she is this mean and nasty to everyone.

As of recently, last 2 visits which were after 8 p.m. ive been treated so terribly by a new employee of at least new to me. The last experience I had to use the self check out which I absolutely hate. Nothing ever goes well and this night was no different except for the rude treatment from this employee. She treated me like I was an idiot and made it very clear that I was getting on her nerves because she had to help me several times. Well tonite I got to be checked out by her again. I stood at the #1 checkout for several minutes while she swept the new self checkout area. She looked at me a couple of times and continued to sweep like I wssnt there. A younger girl that bags and brings in carts asked if I had been helped to which I replied NO and pointed to Diesta or something similar to that name and told her she had ignored me. She approached her and told her I was needing checkout out and she told her she was busy talking to a customer which by the way had barely started talking with her. She finally checked me out with what seemed like disgust. I dont know why she would be so nasty and rude to me but ill make sure and not shop at this time of night anymore!!​
