I've chatted with the manager a few times and even complimented him on his hard working ethic never shying away from even stocking a shelf. A true sign of a good leader is one who isn't afraid to fill in when things need to be done. The store is usually adequately stocked and carry's a decent variety of product. It is a smaller Albertsons, so don't expect it to have all that you'd find in the mega stores of the bigger nearby cities. The deli always has its popular fried chicken and fresh bread. The produce department does well to keep things stocked and common items are also available at d you only need a little bit, like celery for example. I'll vote for a bigger beer section one day as well! They did add some self checkout machines. I prefer the social aspect of the cashier, but they are there when you need to get out quickly. It can get very busy here at times, but they do quite well at getting people checked out as quickly as possible.

This 8 ounce container states "New low price". Which is it Albertson's? Sizeflation at its finest and Albertsons is playing along.

However, you'll want to stop here to eat! If you are before the 11am breakfast cut-off, you're in for an egg-ceptional breakfast. The coffee is good, the omelets are generous, and the portions will fill you completely. If you miss breakfast, don't stress, because the burgers are pretty darn delish. The burgers are plump and juicy. The toppings are fresh. Your side choices are vast, but you'll want the tots. Let's hope they aren't out (it seems to happen often). The fries are different (check out the pictures). Yet, you can get a salad which is a good value. Bottom line, when I'm in the area, I stop in for a meal. You should too.

I think the time before that was to grab a sandwich from the deli for my husband. Conveniently, my hubby wanted a snack so I stopped in to see what I could grab for him. I saw a gentleman pull some fresh pepperoni pizza out of the brick oven. That was my sign to grab my husband a couple slices, he loves pizza. The gentleman helped a couple guests ahead of me. He greeted me but realized he was out of gloves. So, he went to the back to grab some and the gal who was starting the dough stepped in to help me. She asked if i wanted some pizza and of course I said yes. Looking at the pizza, there was no real rhyme or reason to how they sliced it. All the slices were different in size. Not one is the same. One huge slice, many smaller slices and some slivers. I asked her if 2 smaller slices count as 1. She said yes. I wanted a total of 2 big slices. I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. I haven't been in for a long time before this and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. I'd rather buy a full pizza and have my husband toss the other half of the uneaten pizza than be treated like how I did today.

I did have a credit card on file on the app which I believe is required. Well, I called the store and cancelled my order. The nice woman said I won't be charged. Great! I was told it would come off my account in 2-3 days, but still, that card on file is for items that may cost more than what is stated on order. Going to any Grocery Outlet is like a scavenger hunt. What you saw there last time, may not be…read morethere the next. I was on the hunt for some FieldRoast Vegan breakfast sandwiches. They're pretty good when I am lazy to make breakfast. I did purchase the last three at my usual Grocery Outlet in Meridian at Crossroads. I walked into this location and it always feels fancier compared to the other locations. I'm not able to articulate it in words but it just does. While I didn't find the breakfast sandwiches, I did find some vegan flatbreads which I have not seen before and at less than four bucks each, it was a find, so I bought the last two to stash for a lazy day. As for service, Mindy was very pleasant and funny. We chatted about how I was cheating on my usual location and Meg over there usually serves me. Mindy says, 'Its our secret' It was a funny moment. In retail, even a small chuckle, is worth a million bucks. Thanks Grocery Outlet for the finds, and I will stay focused on the hunt each and every time.

The Boise GO on Fairview has a bigger selection of Taylor Farms than the Meridian GO. 4. The Boise GO on Fairview has a bigger and better selection of Eggs, Butter & Cheese. 5. The Boise GO on Fairview appears to be a bigger store, which would explain why they have more variety in some sections. The Meridian GO appears similar in size to the Boise GO on Overland. I still need a bit more time to go through the Meridian GO, but so far, I prefer the Boise GO on Fairview. The Meridian GO is better than the Boise GO on Overland.

You can feel the discount vibe in places - bag your own groceries- but overall it's a higher class discount market. Preferred items that beat out competitors - sushi, fried chicken, deli cheeses selection, premade pizza to bake at home, and bakery breads and bagels baked in store. I prefer their fresh baked bagels to any speciality bagel store. Items lacking - deli sliced meats not great and lack of cake offerings, plus the packaged bakery baked sweets not that great. Lower selection of some item variety but not that many items I cannot find. Love the produce area, good quality and prices. Paper towels are my fav, price is so low! Staples are cheaper here (canned, jars, dry items like pasta, oatmeal, peanut butter, etc.) than anywhere else. Great selection of grab and go meals at excellent prices. Prices have been terrible on eggs here lately. Watch signs for a price for 1 box of eggs but in small print they charge much more for the 2nd or more box of eggs the same size.
