He didn't have anyone else in his line. He felt completely comfortable to just ignore me. I spent quite a few minutes trying to bag up my large amount of groceries. He finally asked me "are you all good there?" I told him I really would've appreciated if he had helped - he still did not care. All this doesn't make me ever wanna come back to this store. Puerto Rican approved ‼…read more This place is genuinely the best Mexican food I have had in a long while. Portions are average sized, but very cheap. We ate lunch here for 15$ total. Guacamole and all meat was fresh. We tried the tacos with carne asada, pork, and birria options. All very tasty. The jalapeño tacos were a standout. The jalapeños were actually not very spicy, despite having the seeds still in them. This was nice because you could actually taste the sweet flavor of the jalepenos. Please don't judge the storefront by its cover. It's a small, simple place, but the food more than makes up for it. The place was under some interior construction, but they were still open and service was great.

One block off the main thoroughfare, this restaurant is located next door to The Dog Spa. It's a small place but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. They used to operate out of a food truck in another part of Homedale and have migrated to having their first permanent location. I believe we were told they moved in here in October of 2022. It is a place that has a meat counter for Mexican delicacies, but there are about 6-7 tables where you can dine in and enjoy some great tasting food. My wife and I both ordered the Pollo Asado plate along with a side of guacamole and some fried jalapeños. I can honestly say that everything was prepared very well and have great flavor. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the guacamole was obviously made fresh. That, in itself, was a bonus. No mass produced guacamole! The rice and beans were a perfect portion size for the meal, and the three tortillas were soft and warm. We both left satisfied and not over stuffed! There is a small area where they sell tortillas and Mexican spices. This is good to know since we like to make our own Mexican style sauces at home. We love supporting small business whenever we can. Next trip we're gonna have to try the Jalapeño taco. They made them sound very tempting while we were eating our meal!

As of recently, last 2 visits which were after 8 p.m. ive been treated so terribly by a new employee of at least new to me. The last experience I had to use the self check out which I absolutely hate. Nothing ever goes well and this night was no different except for the rude treatment from this employee. She treated me like I was an idiot and made it very clear that I was getting on her nerves because she had to help me several times. Well tonite I got to be checked out by her again. I stood at the #1 checkout for several minutes while she swept the new self checkout area. She looked at me a couple of times and continued to sweep like I wssnt there. A younger girl that bags and brings in carts asked if I had been helped to which I replied NO and pointed to Diesta or something similar to that name and told her she had ignored me. She approached her and told her I was needing checkout out and she told her she was busy talking to a customer which by the way had barely started talking with her. She finally checked me out with what seemed like disgust. I dont know why she would be so nasty and rude to me but ill make sure and not shop at this time of night anymore!!

I did have a credit card on file on the app which I believe is required. Well, I called the store and cancelled my order. The nice woman said I won't be charged. Great! But the next day I saw the entire amount, , plus an extra $5 charge against my bank account! This was an unauthorized charge! I was told it would come off my account in 2-3 days, but still, that card on file is for items that may cost more than what is stated on order. So I went from a "no you won't be charged" to an unauthorized charge. If you don't want this happening to you, remove the payment card that you do not want charged without your approval

I complained to a manager when first noticed and was informed they have routine store audits and she is confident shelf prices are accurate. I have not noticed an improvement.
