Beware of fake surcharges and fees. I'll begin with yes this restaurant has decent Mexican food, I hardly go here but decided to get menudo TO Go yesterday. I ordered two small menudos priced at 13.99 with tortillas. It took over 45 minutes to get my food, I watched as one of the cooks had already prepped my menudo which sat for 30 minutes on the counter while I waited for 3 tacos....i was already in dismay as the food was sitting getting cold. I asked after 35 minutes how much longer my food was going to take since I could see my menudo sitting. (Not sure who likes cold food) One of the younger cashiers decided to help get my order finished, granted the restaurant was not even busy. When I finally I received my order, I double checked to make sure I had tortillas, when I did not. I asked for them, the girl decided to say at the moment that to go orders do not come with tortillas, I asked her to print my receipt because I knew I was charged a decent amount for the menudo with tortillas. Once she printed the receipt I realized not only did she overcharge me for the size of my menudo, she charged me the price with tortillas. I informed them that I paid with tortillas but the restaurant refused to give me tortillas without me paying for them again!!! Like what????? So they charged me another 7.74 for 6 tortillas, then tried to justify the higher prices for "surcharges" all of this is illegal there are no signs and it is not on my receipt. I have already filed a complaint with the AG, because I would have never paid attention had I received tortillas. Pay attention to your receipts, I had also tipped these people on a to go order..... When I called them out another young female cashier started to give me attitude saying I could leave after I said this is illegal. How dare I protect other consumers and my wallet! We always get the taco plate. The food and customer service are great and always consistent.

We were struggling to come up with a take out dinner idea and ordered the precooked carnitas. We added some sautéed onions and bell peppers to them and they were delicious. Will definitely be back to order again! Their homemade salsas are excellent but beware they are quite spicy hot. read more

Got multiple pounds of two different kinds both of which were over 13.99 a pound. Paid the cashier and before walking out decided I better grab a drink as it's over 100 today. Disappointed that yet again we have ordered DoorDash only to be told the cheese quesadilla is out of stock? This doesn't even make sense. You can make a burrito, but not a quesadilla?! Then the quesadilla is replaced with a singular taco, and no other option is given to the customer? Absolutely unacceptable at this point. I saw this place a couple of time in my way to work. I spoke to Nancy about other purchases. I decided to come back to have lunch a couple days later. I ordered the carnitas burrito and my co workers orders the mega burrito. Hands down for me, the best authentic food I have had so far. Everything was hot and full of flavor. Campos has always been one of my favorite places to eat. My family and I eat there regularly and have always had positive experiences with great food until recently. The employees all seem to be new, no idea where all of the past, "regular employees" are, but the service now is rude and the food sucks. As a returning customer who has enjoyed Campos for a long time, I will not be returning. After multiple instances, today was the final straw. I called for a refund on my lunch and I will not be back. Disappointing. I hope the owner is able to pinpoint the issue and work to fix it, as I can't be the only person having this experience. read more

Best tacos in the area. Great salsa. I love that they are always made after the order (including the corn tortillas). Customer service is pretty standard sometimes a bit of a language barrier. They charge just barely more than a taco truck but better in my opinion, and a larger portion. They also have a nice variety of Mexican goods in the market. My only bad remarks is it looks pretty nice in the outside but it's got some dirty floors and the register area upfront seems like it's not cleaned often, kinda cluttered as well. But I'm not eating my tacos there or the floor so I don't care that much. read more
