Best of luck, Springfield needs a proper bagel shop I hope you guys work your kinks out.

They have 6 rotating flavors available at a time. When I visited, the flavors included Chocolate Chip, Brookie, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup S'more, Pecan Pie, Carrot Cake, Better Than Pumpkin Pie. They also have: Crookie (the viral croissant cookie) and Cravelets (10 pack of bite-sized chocolate chip cookies). This is also one of the only places in the area where you can get a LOADED SODA! Try one of their curated flavor combinations or mix & match over 20 syrups to make your perfect drink. I love mine with Dr. Pepper, lime and coconut cream.

When I arrived, I gave them my order…read morename and she told me there would be a 10 min wait on the cookies because they were in the oven. Turns out, they only had ONE out of the roughly 7 or 8 flavors ready to be served. When two gentlemen came in, the worker told them there was a wait on all of the cookies and seemed to be telling them to not order because it would take so long. She told them one of the cookies that they ordered would take 22 minutes because they were JUST put in the oven. There is no reason why there should be only be ONE cookie flavor ready for customers at a COOKIE shop with over an hour until close left. I waited 10 minutes for my cookie to be so burning hot, right out of the oven that I couldn't even eat it for another 10 minutes. The workers did nothing to make it up either. I have been going to Crave almost weekly for months now and I was very disappointed today.

They refused to provide a refund or replace the order with something else. The only English speaking lady claimed there was no manager in the building, and later claimed she was the manager. She claimed that if she gave my friend a refund, she would get fired, and resulted in police needing to be contacted. I order a taiyaki and it was burnt and overcooked. Had to wait +30 mins. Italian soda was also 90% ice. DO NOT COME HERE. Ambiance was meh.

Wish all food was presented at the same time, and that we got our drinks first. It was crazy how our drinks were the last to come out. The brown boba in the Oreo cheesecake tasted weird. And the texture was more in a gross jelly way than what I'm used to. Cheesecake Oreos flavor was a bit lacking in my opinion DRINKS ARE SUPER OVER PRICED FOR THE AMOUNT UR GETTING Workers were nice - no complaints Seating should be improved. The bakery items also didn't taste fresh. The place itself is pretty, but honestly, looks are deceiving. The prices do not match the quality of the food, service or portions. For what you pay, it's simply not worth it. I personally would not go back and would not recommend it. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Caffeine customized to your liking…read more On a day when I had to drop my car off at the tire shop for new tires, Emily and I took that as an invitation to go out of town for an afternoon. We headed out to Springfield since neither of us had been down there for awhile. First stop was... Custom Cup Coffee to get us caffeinated for an afternoon of shenanigans. We dropped in to a cozy little coffeehouse. This place had been on my list for awhile and on the way down, I gave Em a list of local coffee places we can try and this is the one that she picked and what a great choice it was. I got my usual Americano and Emily got the Beekeeper. Along with my love of coffee, I do love stickers and grabbed a giant one for $4 and the barista hooked us up with some free little ones. Score! They do have a small food menu, too, if you come here and need something to compliment your caffeinated drink. I usually look around and snap a few photos while waiting but I barely got turned around before my drink was being called out. That's the fastest I've ever gotten an Americano. Emily's drink was not far behind. Granted we had no one in front of us when we ordered, it was Jimmy Johns level of freaky fast. We were going to sit outside but they were putting up their outside furniture for some reason so we took a seat inside. This Americano was spot-on for what I crave when I want one. Not only was it tasty but for being 20oz, it somehow lasted me until we walked over to Buzz Bomb Brewing Co. and I started drinking a beer. Emily was in love with her latte and let me have a little sip and wow... it was delicious. It was no surprise that she finished her drink in half the time it took me to finish mine. All in all, Custom Cup Coffee had super friendly baristas, a quaint and cozy interior with a little bit of seating and super delicious coffee.

A diamond in the rough and a great place for delicious treats…read more We were visiting Lincoln's hometown of Springfield, Ill and wanted to get a snack. We found this place online. It is a little south of the city and west of the interstate but it is absolutely worth the detour. It is a rustic place called the Apple barn and parking is right in front. Their website gives a lot more information about it being more than just the main shop that is in the barn. They began as a family apple orchard and expanded over the years into a collection of attractions including two restaurants, a general store, a creamery, a winery, a candy factory, and a Christmas shop, all centered around the original barn built in 1910. We only visited the barn with the bakery goodies and the very friendly staff who helped us get some delicious snacks for the trip back to the hotel. It was great! Even if you don't plan to buy anything, it's worth taking some time to visit to get a snack for your trip or, if you are going to walk around the site, for the extra visit. We found it to be one of the more enjoyable stops to the area capping off a great visit to the Springfield, Ill area.
