There will be one person on register and like 8 on the floor and no one can back up? I've recently found that they have very limited variety in casual clothes for women. Tons for 20 year olds but not much for those who prefer to wear more than crop tops. I can always find great business casual clothes! I do like their selection of makeup. Sometimes you can fine Mac, Too Faced, and other high end brands.

But when the other 2 in my group came up and asked for her to honor a lower price on the same item she sighed and was like "I can get a manager to do that if you're gonna be mad about it." Then she didn't even do it right. My group went back up because they wanted the money off and she made another comment about us needing gas money. Real nice. My group all works in customer service jobs so we weren't being annoying even from the beginning.

Rarely anything good in XL and the plus size clothes there are just blah. No color or style. The staff are nice most of the time. All aside, I still shop there because I like the store in general. Plus clearance deals and sales are usually great!

First off, they stock way more things than any of the other Targets in the area that I go to. Whenever I'm looking for a specific item on the app and it's sold out at the stores around me, Brighton always has it in stock for pick up. Last Christmas I walked around and was amazed by how much more holiday decor they had available compared to other shops I had been to. Anyone who knows me knows I get a little holiday decor crazy so I definitely filled an entire cart with goodies. Their shelves are just so much more interesting than the other locations I go to. The grocery section is also pretty great and filled with way more than I typically see at my local Target. Recently I stopped in on a Sunday night and will say it was a bit cleaned out but that may have just been post-weekend shoppers. Any time I've gone mid-week it's been super stocked. This location also has a mini-Disney store inside which is only one of a handful in the state. It's not huge but they carry some things you'll only see in these mini-stores so it's worth browsing through if you have the time. My only complaint is, given the size of the store and how many people come through, they should have more than 4 self-check out kiosks. When I was there last they only had one register open so the self-check out line was pretty long. That would definitely ease things up a bit if they added some more.

It has a few stores that I like and it's in between the Flint area and metro Detroit, so it'll do in a pinch if I'm in the Brighton area, which happens now and then. They have a varied selection of stores, ranging from Dick's and Barnes and Noble to J. Jill, Claire's, Pier One and Five Below, plus a whole lot more, in addition to a few decent watering holes and eateries. In truth, they have more restaurant options than I would assume they might at such a small-ish open air/strip mall. It's better than having limited options or eateries with excessive lines or a crappy food court with just fast food garbage. I like the Pier One store, but the Barnes and Noble is not my favorite B & N location, but it's still nice to have a brick and mortar book store in the area. This mall has a few shops that we don't have at home, plus a variety of others that we do. Other than that, the parking is adequate and the location is pretty decent and convenient, just off the expressway. I'd like to see a few more boutiques open up, but for now, the mix of retailers is decent, relatively varied and the options for food & drinks is great for such a small venue.

Thank God I had the foresight to check my receipt just before I left the store and went outside. Otherwise, I would have gone home and would not have any way to prove that I did not actually take the pants. Yes, it was a mistake by the cashier. But I had left the line and had to go back and have them correct it. The cashier did not know how to do a return, and she had to have someone else come and help me. It really took a long time. I tried to be patient and kind, but it was not a positive experience. Store is extremely understaffed. Never truly understood how this place stays in business year after year.. it's been a staple of the…read moreMain Street commercial district for years, but I've never figured out why. The clothes are not particularly chic or stylish or unique- it's an overpriced J Jill or Coldwater Creek for the middle aged set. As far as customer service? Meh.. style, uniqueness, variety or quality of stock? Meh.. rye clothes are overpriced and off middling, lackluster style and quality in my book... I could never find anything I'd be willing to buy at even a deep discount other than perhaps a standard issue black tank top, which I can buy anywhere by virtually any design house at any price.. let's be real, a pair of flowy , crinkled rayon loose pants by some random label are not worth $119- and I literally just spotted that very item at that very price. A coordinating tunic/top at a comparable price tag, etc, some boring white tops, a few tank tops, some button down top/tunics that I wouldn't buy and some accessories too middle aged for me are status quo. Price points? It isn't outrageously pricey for the area, yet the prices were too high for what they're offering... As for layout/displays? The boutique definitely is laid out well, but that's about all I can say. The shop is clutter free, clean, well laid out.. If I was a stay at home soccer mom type, who goes to church events and was not into mixing street style with high and low pieces, perhaps this might be my speed, although I doubt it. Even if I was older or had kids, the clothes still wouldn't be upmarket or unique enough for me and I dislike the 'higher end' price tag on items that decidedly are not high end or even mid range luxury. While I did get a quick greeting from a sales associate (some food in the store didn't rate a glance or a hello, so perhaps I should feel impressed), it really wasn't friendly and I could tell by her response that she was totally uninterested if I was browsing or buying. Nothing I saw even looked like something I'd see in a fashion magazine or on a Saks or Macys website. If I want to pay those prices, and I often do, I want style and quality- so I'd rather buy something from Michael Kors and know it's worth the $. Not for me... sorry.. ...
