She told me to hang up and call another pharmacy to have it filled there. I asked her if she could have it transferred since she's already in my profile. So I don't hang up and have to call another pharmacy. I mean that would be a good customer service. No. Then she told me to just go to the pharmacy and talk to them and pick it up. At that point, I said, let me talk to a manager. The manager got on the phone and said she can't even transfer it and that the doctor would need to have it transferred. So she just gave me information that was false just to get me off the phone. On top of that- if she's going to talk crap about me at least know that her phone is still on I can hear. She had an unruly customer who was complaining about the self service check out. It was kind of a comical scene. She did great! I came in for snacks and drinks to keep in my hotel while I visit Salt Lake City for the next three days. The snack selection was excellent. Also picked up some hair dye. If I run out of snacks, I'm coming back here because I saw some other things I wanna try. I used my extra care coupons and it took $21 off my total which took it down to about half of what it was. Can't beat that! I recommend the extra care program for anyone who likes to shop at CVS.

I understand they are understaffed, but that in no way should reflect on my experience. I have a prescription that I fill every month and have active refills. They 'NEVER' have it in stock. Most recently, I called to fill a controlled substance and asked to fill it today, the person on the pharmacy's end of the line's answer was, yes in 30-40 minutes. I sent my bf to pick them up to find that they cn't be filled until tomorrow, which is fine had you not told me I could pick them up today. The pharmacist states I should have enough to last.... SO NOT THE POINT!!! I have my meds lady, but i wanted a refill. She says next time to ask to speak with a pharmacist to ensure the info I'm getting is correct ?!?!?! WTH???? No! If I can't trust your staff, I can't trust you. JOSH*** so sorry to come at you wrong. But you people need to get your act straight. I had just had dental work completed and needed a pain prescription filled like yesterday, so I stopped in since Walgreen's usually makes me wait 30 minutes. At Hyland Pharmacy I had less than 5 minute wait. The staff was super friendly and it took less than 30 seconds to get my insurance info all taken care of. If you stop by, check out the nifty ceiling fans that turn by a pulley system. This is an adorable little business and my new personal favorite pharmacy. The downside is that their hours are limited, closing at 6 pm on weekdays and I believe 3 pm on weekends. The shelves are looking a little bare- lets make sure this place doesn't go out of business! Give it a try and support the little guy.

They wanted me to go out and get some food to bring back to the hotel. So, being the good boss I am, that's what I did. What I thought of was fried chicken! But you know, I was never a real fan of KFC or other chicken chains, but you know who makes good fried chicken is grocery stores and yes, Walmart deli. I know there's a Walmart super center nearby, so that's where I go and I know I can get any drinks and potato salad and stuff like that. I GPS my way over here and go in. It looks kinda like most Walmarts. I head over to the deli and see the fried chicken. They have 8 piece orders with both dark and white meat for around $8.00 bucks an order. I get 4 orders just to be safe, some of my crew are bigger guys and I think can eat a lot. I get back to the hotel and they're all waiting for me in the lobby. There's a breakfast dining are we can use, and there some plates and napkins and stuff. Coffee too. They're all happy to see and smell the fried chicken. I think we smelled up the whole lobby with that chicken! I'll say along with the crew, that was some pretty good fried chicken! I gotta keep that in mind. Normally I use mail…read moreorder but it hadn't arrived by the time I left so my doctor's office offered to call in a two-week supply for me locally. They confirmed that they had, in fact, called it in at 1 pm (12 pm local time) yesterday and verified once again the pharmacy location and phone number. Today I went there at 4 pm to pick it up only to be told by the pharmacy that they hadn't received it. They offered to transfer my entire prescription to their pharmacy which would then enable them to fill it for me but I wasn't interested in changing pharmacies... just getting enough medication until I returned home. They were nice about it, but I told them I had called my provider's office before coming who confirmed they had called it in so I believed they should have it. Just then another woman working in the back came up to "help." I had heard her complaining (grumbling?) since I got there about how she needed to leave or she'd get caught in traffic, so I wasn't surprised when she firmly restated to me that it hadn't been called in. Her "husband's a doctor" you see, and she sees this all the time where the doctor's office says they did something when they hadn't. Well guess what, Mrs. my-husband's-a-doctor, I'm not sure how your husband's offie is, but I've been going to the same provider for 15+ years and my experience tells me when they confirm they've done something, it's taken care of. On the other hand... there's a long list of reasons why I no longer use CVS as my regular pharmacy and today, you just made that list longer. May I suggest a little refresher on customer service?
