I did not come for the pharmacy part, but they've got it. I did not come for the photo department, but they've got it. I didn't come for the drugstore, the clothing, the toys, the household goods, or any of the other stuff that I forget is commonly found at drugstores. No, instead I came for drinks. Which I never really remember they have at drugstores like Walgreens, except a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered, and got them. Sort of like a quasi-convenience store quasi-grocery store, the back wall has a long panel of refrigerators with food and drinks. Massive props for the big selection of drinks. Not in love with the prices, but it was about convenience today. This is one of the tidier, more open, and spacious Walgreens I've been to, so kudos for that as well. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy Ive ever interacted with. I've never seen the drive thru open in the past year, they've had serious issues filling medication, and i've never been able to send a script and have it filled same day regardless of urgency or time. read more

Negative star! Their whole job is prescriptions and they are horrible at it. A problem with insurance, could you give me a call instead of waiting for me to come back in. This place is terrible. Oh and the front cashier counter girl that ignores customers because she is on her phone. Do better. read more

This Pharmacy is the worst. I have needed my medication urgently for over a week and they won't ever answer the phone, won't help me because it's too close to their lunch break, and now I've been waiting for 20 minutes for some other dumb reason. By the time I'm done waiting it's going to be their lunch break again. Go anywhere but here. read more

The store is clean and organized with lots of great items. However, the customer service needs improvement. Took 5 minutes to find someone to ring customers out. By the time someone came to help, there were 6 people waiting in line. Only one employee out of the few there was willing to help. read more

Never coming here again and don't bother. The lines are long with 2-3 people working.

Just don't go to them, or any Walgreens. I consistently have trouble getting RX. Waited on the phone for 20 min while I was rotated between hold music and the phone ringing, each time they just picked up the phone and put it back on hold again. When the guy finally answered I was so polite, because I know they are all always overwhelmed, but instead I got a lecture from Christian on how many RX he has waiting to fill and how many people are in line right now. He then told me to go to my doctor and get a paper RX and bring it in to them in person. Whaaat? I'm done, and I hope you are too. read more

rarely is the pharmacy drive through open and going in to get medication is a longer wait with usual long lines and long wait for the pharmacist to even find the medication once you get to the front of the line. read more

Avoid this pharmacy! Three trips to get a prescription. First trip waited 10 minutes and the script wasn't ready. Told come back in 3 hours. Next day, pharmacist was at lunch so no script. When I appropriately expressed frustration, tech turned her back and walked away. Third visit, 22 hours after script was called in, still not ready. Told to wait, it shouldn't be more than 30 minutes. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The pharmacy techs and pharmacist are rude and dismissive - not helpful at all. I have now tried filling the same 2 prescriptions with them the last 7 days in a row and they have had the audacity to lie to my face every step of the way - I still don't have my medications. My experience with this pharmacy has been so bad that I've called my doctors in the parking lot and had them send my prescriptions somewhere else. I will never do business with Walgreens again. read more

I have wasted so much time and energy, trying to get prescriptions filled. They close randomly (in addition to their lunch break). They are often out of stock with needed prescriptions. read more

Ben in the pharmacy was great. He filled my meds quickly and helped me resolve an issue with my insurance. and the staff at the front was great too. read more

Horrible customer service. Some of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. I never leave bad reviews, but this place is absolutely awful. I've always been nice to employees, but even when I'm kind I'm met with contempt. I hopped in line at the pharmacy late (I didn't know they closed at 6 as I'm new to town), and I was told to leave. I politely said okay and asked what time they opened the next day. The woman at the counter started raising her voice and repeating that she couldn't help me that day. I said I knew that but would come back tomorrow. She raised her voice more and told me to leave. I was honestly so confused. Every time I come here I have an awful experience. Don't get your prescriptions here! read more

I'm not happy that Walgreens took over this Rite Aid where I've been a customer for 27 years. It took three long, frustrating calls to try to refill a prescription I've had for years. The first time their automated system didn't recognize the prescription refill number. The second time they disconnected me after I had been on hold for several minutes. The third time I finally was able to talk to a person, but THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY INHALER in stock. Ridiculous. Compare the reviews of Rite Aid to Walgreens. This a change for the worse. read more

Worse customer service ever. I've never experienced such poor service in my life, absolutely awful. It's obvious that the customer means nothing to them as evident by their lack of care and acknowledgement. We waited almost an hour with no result. I will never give them my business!! read more

Lines are really long. You can't trust text messages that tell you your order is ready for pickup- it's normally not ready so take a seat and wait. staff is not friendly or helpful. Typically just a really bad experience with this Walgreens. Time to try another pharmacy. read more

Every time we pick up for our mom there is only person at the window with a 5 to 25 minute wait.

If you are concerned about your health, I would recommend staying away from the Walgreens on 4500 S 900 E. The drive thru was ten cars deep, so I went inside to get a prescription. Not one worker there had a mask or gloves on. While I was waiting at the pharmacy, I saw the pharmacist blow her nose twice, stick the Kleenex in her pocket and not wash her hands. She then handled prescription bottles. The pharmacy clerk said a couple of times that she wasn't feeling well and looked sick. She dropped a guy's prescription on the floor and just picked it up and put it in his bag. This just isn't acceptable right now (or ever). So, be careful and keep our seniors away. read more

This has been my pharmacy for almost 2 years. They've been alright mostly, but I crashed off my medicine because they said they didn't have it for me. It was there the whole time. They were too lazy to check back a few days. Seriously a nightmare. read more

i would give walgreen's located at 531 e 400 s in slc a genuine rating of minus 1000 (-1000) but in order to write a review you must put at least 1 star. the staff is juvenile and are not customer friendly. they are lazy and do not perform their job descriptions! the pharmacy instead of filling prescriptions literally must take the medications themselves because they cant even hardly speak or understand english and cant answer the phone in over an hour with only 3 callers on the line. i do not understand how they keep their doors open ......one of the worst stores in the entire state if utah and perhaps the u.s.a. do everyone a favor and close forever and never open . read more

They give new meaning to slow; they took my payment and said they needed for me to wait and they were going to bring out some paperwork, 30 minutes later and still haven't gotten the paperwork. There is literally no other customers in the store. This store is a joke. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Came in to fill a prescription, they told me it would be 30 mins. 2 hours later I am still waiting, and there's nobody at the window to help. I don't know if they are understaffed or if they spend their time serving only the drive thru. But I am definitely never coming here again to fill my prescriptions.:/ read more

Walgreens - Least helpful pharmacy ever - Drugstores Near Me - Salt Lake City, Utah

Don't waste your time. They don't know what they're doing, and their employees seem passive aggressive. I have had to call them multiple times in the past week to get a prescription. They can't even be bothered with basic professionalism such as identifying themselves by name when they answer the phone; they push back on the customer to know and do their jobs for them; the information they enter or store in their computer system is incorrect and contradictory, they don't update your files. No accountability. Is that what you want from someone who is supposed to be giving you important meds? read more

I placed an online order. Order been canceled supposedly no stock (a lie) I gues manager or smne decided the price was too low. After a month i received feeback about my purchase. After giving one star and me tioning it is ridiculous ask feedback on order they camceled i received this:" Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" PURE CENSORSHIP! Now maybe you understand that there are not many 1 star reviews. This is the reason. read more

Pharmacy is special! You think they would run a better place being a pharmacy. Back order for two months really and they don't bother tell the patient only they tell them to come back in an hour to pick up. Dumb people read more

its good service and nice and clean. great prices for either a snack or something you really need. better then a hassle at Walmart.

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Every time I come in there's always, without fail, "an issue with my insurance". It hasn't changed in 5 years and I have only ever had problems in this location. Staff is so rude and incompetent. You are always waiting way longer than they tell you as well. They sometimes unexpectedly close early. So annoying. Probably won't come back. read more

Went in to drop off a prescription and told it'd take 1.5 hours. Ok, left to come back later to pick it up. After standing in line for 20 minutes with two people in front of me and two behind, a manager was paged to help out but never showed up, I was told they were out of stock on the cough syrup and to come back later. So I took my prescription back and went across the street to Smiths Grocery. In and out with my prescription in 15 minutes. A grocer knows how to fill prescriptions and a drug store doesn't. Plus much better service. I'll never be back for anything Walgreens. read more

I drove up to the pickup window to get my prescription. They ask me to come inside t will only take 15 minutes. I wait inside to talk to the pharmacist, after 50 minutes I ask what's going on, the girl gives me my prescription and has me leave. Very incompetent people here. Wasted over an hour of my time. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. We got home and they gave us the wrong pills! I'm glad I always check them before anyone takes one. There is no excuse for this. I used to work in a pharmacy and would fill prescriptions and then it would go to two other people to check and make sure the prescription was correct. Unexceptable. I came back and they gave me the correct pills and refunded the costs. But it seemed like it was no big deal to them. Another time we came here they said it would be an hour for our prescription and we would receive a text when it was ready. We waited 2 hours for the text never got one and so we called and the pharmacy was closed! It was only 6pm. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

If only there was a way to rate ZERO star rating! Customer service (pharmacy) SUCKS!!!! Waited for over 5 mins with no one helping, waited for 30 mins, for them to say they needed to "verify" insurance for my 11 daughter that needed an antibiotic. They said "she needs her own insurance card" WTF? Left with no antibiotics and a kid in pain! Thanks Walgreens! read more

I prefer this location over some of the other ones. They are always really expedient at getting your prescriptions out and rarely are things miss-marked. The store is pretty clean and kept up, staff is friendly. It can be hard to get out of the parking lot lot because of all the traffic and it being so close to the light, but it's convenient that it's so close to Smith's and Wal-Mart so you aren't driving all over town of you need to go grocery shopping. read more

I love Walgreens!! This location however is my favorite because it is soooo nice and clean. Their customer service is always great! I often ask for help and they staff are very knowledgeable and helpful! This is my favorite location they have so far. read more

This location is a joke. I've made the mistake of stopping at this location more than once because it was on my route. And every single time they are understaffed. More than once I've watched the single employee manning the cash register slowly walk to the back to tell someone they need help, then they slowly reappear with no re-enforcements. Do yourself a favor - skip this location. read more

This store opened up in January 2013, the store manager here, will go above and beyond to satisfy the customers. If the store is out of stock of an item and the customer isn't able to go to the other store to grab it, he will drive to the other store and grab it for them. It's amazing what he'll do to provide great quality service. Thank you Elmir for showing us what great customer service is all about. read more

So mad this transitioned from a Rite Aid to a Walgreens. They have no automated system to call in to refill prescriptions, literally never answer their phone, and take forever to fill prescriptions. Terrible pharmacy. read more

Mindy is one of the best people I've met. She goes out of her way to make sure her customers are 1000% satisfied.

My rating is in regards to their passport picture service. I had mine done 9 mos ago. Kiosk was broke they had to do it from the computer, but after a lot of waiting they finally got it done. Today husb goes in for his and same thing kiosk is broke, Pic wont come up. this after the back drop screen is broke and the help has to hold it up behind him. This time obviously they didn't think of or don't know how to bring it up on the computer, so after being there an hour, it turned into, oh well, sorry, go somewhere else. ONE time I understand, but twice, 9 mos apart? reallly? read more

Pharmacy is terrible. It takes forever. Often times I'll receive a text saying my prescription is ready, but when I get there, it's not. One time I was waiting in line for 45 minutes, and a man cut in front of the privacy line and was immediately helped, when he really shouldn't have been helped at all for going in front of the privacy line. Seems like no one knows what they are doing there and can never answer questions well. read more
