After sitting on hold for 40 minutes, I was told it would be ready by 2:30. Come 4 p.m., nothing. I called again, only to be left on hold for an hour before the call was disconnected. This level of "service" is beyond unacceptable. It's not just inconvenient -- it's downright pathetic. Patients shouldn't have to chase down their own medication or waste hours listening to hold music. Walgreens has clearly forgotten what customer care even looks like, and it shows. They say they are working on perscriptions for days or even weeks .To call is a joke. The auto info tells nothing and the real workers never answer the phone. If you go to the pharmacy you wait in lines. They don't have enough help. They are continually out of drugs. Too Bad. They don't care. There are other businesses close by." Across the parking lot and barely made it to KFC. Returning for my wife still shopping I found that guy again and asked for the manager who wasn't there. Assistant, not there either. Apparently he was in charge sort of. Told him he was doing "a fine job". Found my wife and we left everything right where she was. Refuse to buy anything there. My doctor sends them a pecription and I have to call them multiple times over two weeks before they even fill it. They keep saying they will fill it by the end of the day and they don't. Do you enjoy waiting 45 minutes in the drive-thru for a prescription refill that you received a phone call confirmation was available for pick-up just to be told they will complete this for you "after my lunch break." Yeah, no. I don't either. This is the worst Walgreens location and the pharmacy staff are incompetent, rude and unreasonable. I placed an order for delivery through the app to get medicine and food delivered when I was sick. I placed the order at 5am, and it said it would be delivered between 8-10. At 1PM, still no delivery. Called the store's customer service, and was on hold for a very long time. Eventually had to call headquarters and get them to cancel the order. I ordered a total of 5 things and live down the street from the location... there is really no reason why the delivery should take over 8 hours. read more

This location is fucked. The pharmacy fucks up my (daily) meds *every time I pick up* and it's always a full 3 day process for something that used to take literally 10 minutes. Today I was on hold for over and hour before they answered and then immediately hung up on me when I said hello. Didn't even have a conversation, no clue why they hung up other than to fuck around. Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. My husband has been trying to get his prescription filled for 3 months! They send messages that it's ready, but when he goes to the website to pay, it says it's not ready. He's gone i twice to pick it up and both times they told him that his insurance wouldn't approve payment. He also took a coupon, from this exact store, in for five dollars off for his med that was listed on the coupon and they refused to take it. Many times he has tried to call during their open hours and their phone message says they are closed. AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I would give it -5 stars if I could. read more

Rude manager, I believe he just didn't want to help me with my return. He said that the phone number I entered was not linked to the purchase, which is impossible because I've had this phone number for over 20 years. I just took my receipt my items and said that I would go to my regular store, he sarcastically said have a nice day and I said you as well. Please make sure you treat your other customers better than you treated me. Note, I have been in this location before when I've been in the downtown area. I'm a poor college student, and had to get a surprise root canal complete with needed antibiotics To prevent infection. Naturally, dropping $94 for a antibiotic without medical insurance was really stressful for me. I called and asked the pharmacist manager if there was a generic for my antibiotic, and he told me to download an app that helped me get my prescription for an affordable price. It made my day. I went into this Walgreens with a written prescription for hydrocodone. It was 7 PM on a Saturday. The pharmacy was closed. This pharmacy has my insurance information on file, so I asked if I could simply go to a different Walgreens. I was told that they can't transfer a prescription if it's a controlled substance. Fine, but it was a new prescription. There was nothing to transfer. I wasn't picking up a refill. I pressed for better information, since she was basically telling me I had no option but to come back in the morning. For a new prescription? She merely repeated her exact words as if I hadn't heard her. The person I talked to apparently assumed that I was trying to get a refill, and she didn't bother to clarify this, instead choosing to speak to me as if I'm just a blithering idiot with an unreasonable request. I don't mind going to a different location to get what I need if the pharmacy is closed. But it's extremely frustrating to not be able to get useful information and then have someone talk down to me like this. I've spent the day in the Emergency Room. I'm in terrible pain. I need someone to help me get my medication, that's all. I went to the Walgreens in Sugarhouse. There wasn't an issue. There was nothing to transfer. It would have been a simple thing to find out exactly what I needed and just send me in the right direction. Walgreens, you lost a customer. Sometimes a good deal at Walgreens. I've never had a poor experience with the pharmacy. I swoop into the drive through, wait maybe 5-10 minutes, and I'm out with my meds lickity split. It is conveniently located near downtown Salt Lake City and after spending hours searching for my hair dye, this was the ONLY place that had the right brand and color! YIPEE! The gal behind the desk was very helpful and signed me up for the free rewards program so that I could get the discount right then & there! I stopped by this Walgreens to pick up a prescription. While I was waiting, two people approached the counter who seemed to be trying to get their prescription for free, rather than pay their copay. They were trying every trick in the book to bully the staff into letting them have their way. I was really impressed with how the entire team remained cool, collected, and respectful during the entire situation. They did everything in their power to work with the two customers, who eventually decided to go elsewhere. During this, the staff completed my order, and privately pulled me aside to a separate window to complete my transaction, which made me feel secure despite the potentially delicate predicament taking place at the other window. More than once I have been here after 7 am when they should be open, but they weren't. That is not great customer service if you ask me... The employees are generally friendly and helpful, but if I need to run to the drug store in the morning before heading to work, I shouldn't be worried about if the opener made it in on time or not.
